Trouble adding attachments to email in web version

I am trying to attach small files (500k) to an email in the web version but it never uploads. This happens often.
It's not the attachment or my connection because it attaches right away with gmail or yahoo accts.
I haven't yet upgraded to lion or mountain lion. But that shouldn't matter with the web version, right?
Is anyone else having this trouble?

Sorry to point out but the FM will return the Workitem ID only so there is no problem with the LV_WF_ID variable.

Instead of making binding between attachobjects make binding between
WiGroup_ID <---- attachobjects
and then on the next step you try to make biniding in the user decision step by using WiGroup_ID.I think it should work.

I am having trouble downloading attachments from email

I have an iPad 2 that has been upgraded to IOS 7.0.4. This was a problem before the update - which is the reason for the update but that's another story.
So for now, iPad 2 IOS 7.0.4 16GB wifi/cell model
I am having trouble downloading attachments. Not all. but some. a movie in particular and some documents.
I would thingk it was the email account but I can open it on my iPhone without issue.
I would've thought the link was bad but I forwarded it one of my other email accounts and it opens fine.
I have restarted, rebooted, deleated the mail account and reloaded it.
Still nothing. I have tried to save the video by clicking the "Save Video" icon when you tap and hold the video but it never saves.
Sometimes it will act like it is going to save because I get a black screen and a rotating flower in the middle of the screen and it says "Loading" but it never does anything. Other times it will just give me a message that says "Can't download attachement".
Any one have any thoughts?

What is your connection via speedtest.net ?
Check istumbler or netstumbler to verify network interference
Make sure DNS is set correctly (settings - general - network - configure DNS - automatic)

I have trouble adding attachments to my emails in my yahoo-account - how do I fix this ? When I try the same files on a PC it does work...

Since a few days I am no longer able to attach certain files (ppt, pdf, jpeg) in my emails on my yahoo-account. I click the attach button, go to my file and select it - and then the signal keeps running and running, and the file doesn't attach. Sometines I get an error message, but not always. The files are not very big ones (3 or 4 MB) - well below the 25 MB that is the maximum. Some files do attach - I cannot figure out why the others don't.
When I use my husband's PC, I can attach the "problematic" files without any trouble. When I work with gmail on my Mac, again no problem.
I tried the help desk of yahoo, but they could not solve my problem up til now. Is this a Mac problem, or a yahoo-problem ? I don't know where to look for a solution, but at this point I am pretty desparate because I cannot work without both !
Has anyone a suggestion what I can do about this ?

Are there any dialog boxes popping up behind your Yahoo screen?
I have intermittent problems attaching files in Yahoo mail and this is usually the reason. I'm also using an iMac (10.7.3) and this is likely the problem.
It is generally a Yahoo issue rather than a Mac problem.

Adding attachments causes email application (Safari or Firefox) to crash.

This is a recent condition, after years of using the machine and software. If I move the attachment file to my PowerBook G4 1.33mHz, I have no trouble. Appears to be something in the hardware. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Which web based mail service do you use? Have you run routine maintenance? Are you dragging and dropping, searching for an attachment, sending form iPhoto? Any particular types of attachments? How large?

Adding Attachments to emails

I need to send out personalized emails with an attachment to a list of people. I found an automator script that will take care of building and personalizing each email, but is there an automator script that will add attachments as well?
It looks like the "add attachment" command should work, but I need to specify the file in a previous step, and I can't figure out what action I need to use for that.

Use the +Get Selected Finder Item+ or the +Get Specific Finder Item+.

Saving added attachments in emails

Can anybody tell me how to save these attachments on internal/added memory?

This feature in not available in BlackBerry device. Probably in future releases this might be addressed by RIM considering the user demands.

Adding attachments w/email

I used the (http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/JavaMail/exercises/MailAttach/index.html) as a guide to add attachments to my email sender util when necessary... except when I add the attachment it just shows up below the email body I entered, not as a word attachment. I've attached my code below... Thanks for any help.

TS4002 Can't send emails on web version of icloud

For some reason I get the "Cannot send messages: message cannot be sent at this time" message when I try to email someone from icloud using the web, I've tried google chrome & safari, same thing. I also can't save to the draft folder either.
I can send an email on my iphone with no problem on my iclooud email. but if I can't save it to the draft, it means I have to basically retype the whole thing on my phone & its something I don't intend to do. Its been like this for weeks now & i have no idea why did this is happening & when apple will fix it.

That has nothing to do with the iPhone, it is a limitation of your email account. Check whatever your email provider has set as daily limits.

Trouble adding a second email account to my iPhone 4

I am trying to add a second email account to my iPhone 4. I have gone into settings, mail/contacts/calendars, add account, etc. I have chosen "other" and then chosen "add mail account". I have entered my name, the second email address and a password. Is this password a new pass word for my new email account or is it the password needed to access the email server? Then I choose the POP over the the IMAP, because this new email is a POP account, I think. Now, am I required to add information for both the incoming mail server and the outgoing mail server? This is where I am lost.
I am trying to set this up with out going into the Apple store. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I have not gone to his web site. But, I do have the information the provided. He provided a POP Server address and a SMTP Server address. He also provided the public email address, username and password.
I think my issue is me not understanding IMAP vs POP and where to use the POP server vs the SMTP server information. Looks like I need to plan a trip to the Apple store.

Adding attachments to workflow from Web Dynpro ABAP Application program.

workflow is supposed to start by a Web Dynpro ABAP Application.
The user can attach files to it.
A superior is supposed to review the files and either approve or reject the request.
I tried the following in Web Ddynpro ABAP:

The Workflow has only one user decision step and one notification Step.
In the user decision step, there is a binding from ATTACHOBJECTS to the task.
But, in the log, you can see the attachment in the Workflow Container of the workflow instance, but you don't see it in the task (neither Inbox nor UWL)
I have checked the binding it is correct. I am getting the attachment in workflow container in '_attach_objects' element. but this attachment has to go to the user decision step, so I am binding the '_attach_objects' of workflow container to '_attach_objects' of user decision step. But the attachment was not going to user decision step.
Could you please let me know where am i doing wrong?

Adding Attachments To eMail?

Goal is to respond to Craig's List job ads via email. Need to compose a message containing: a) the coded email response address in the To field, b) text responding to the specific ad, and c) a PDF of a resume. The PDF currently exists only as an attachement in an email from a Mac.
I have been struggling with this. Two problems:
1. Difficulty copying / pasting the coded email address into the "To" field in Mail.
2. Attaching the resume as a PDF
Anyone know how to do this?

Trouble adding Yahoo! email account. Error: Login to the account failed, please try again.

I have read several discussions about this topic. I have tried manual set up, deleting the account multiple times and nothing works. Please help!

Now I can't speak to Catnzdogs's results of it not working after a FR ... That indeed is strange.
But I would try doing the following, as it really sounds like you have an Invalid userid & password "cached" that is giving you that error .. So try this:
- Go into Settings / Applications / Manage Applications, Click on the ALL Tab
- Scroll down to EMAIL (you may have as many as 4 of them > EMAIL, EMAIL ACCOUNTS, EMAIL AUTHENTICATOR, EMAIL ENGINE)
- Select each 1 of them & click on Clear Data & Clear Cache for each
- exit out of the settings
- Launch your email App - it SHOULD prompt you for your login info & password - make sure you enter it correctly the 1st time, else it will save the bad information in cache again.
Let us know what happens & what specific error msg you get, if any. good luck

Why do I have trouble with attachments being stripped when sending email via Earthlink Webmail using Firefox?

I recently built a new computer running Win 8.1. However, I have had trouble sending and receiving attachments with Earthlink Webmail on Firefox. I sometimes cannot see attachments to emails I receive, although the size of the file indicates they are there. When I try to send an email with attachments, the browser contacts Earthlink, and then the message reappears, but the attachments have been stripped. If I hit Send again, the message goes, but without the attachments. If I re-attach the attachments and hit send, they are again stripped. I contacted Earthlink support, and they told me it is a problem with Firefox. I then tried IE and was able to send the attachments without a problem.
I would really appreciate any help as Firefox is my browser of choice.

1. Not sure how to send an email in a private browsing window... I use Earthlink Web Mail and I cannot find anything on that site about private browsing window.
2. Have not tried this yet, but will when I get a chance.
3. Not sure. My old computer ran XP. Never had the problem with it. Right now, it is not connected to the internet, so can't check it.
4. I neglected to mention... I did try IE and it worked fine.
I do have Norton 360 installed, but it was not a problem on the XP machine.

As far as the file type, I was trying to send pdf files. Have not tried other file types.
Earthlink limits messages (and attachments) to 20 MB. The files were less than 3 MB.

How do I do it? or otherwise, how do I get through the abtraction down to the soap message so I can add it manually?
I have both a weblogic.webservice.core.rpc.StubImpl and a javax.xml.rpc.Service to work with, I'm guessing it's somewhere deep down in the context of the Service...?

Trouble adding alias to the web.xml file (External Facing Portal)

I'm trying to implement the external facing portal. I don't really have any real custom content to add to it but have just created an iView that contains a webpage that's contained within a copy of the light framework.
I'm having trouble adding or accessing the alias that I've created to go to this iView.
I can test my iView by adding it to the master rule collection under one of the predefined aliases in the web.xml (e.g. portal/anonymous etc) but when i define my own (e.g. "ext" etc) and then go to http://portal:<port>/irj/ext I'm just getting an error:
The requested resource does not exist.
