Trouble passing java launch options using 1.6.0_11
Attempting to pass language parameters for i18n tests:
javaws -J-Duser.language=fr canvas.jnlp
I see it start off in French but later (second launch) the option is lost.
Also for remote debug -->
Attempting to pass remote debug flags:
When I set this:

I see the process launched with:

I see -Xdebug but no "-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=5000" ???? Where did is go???
I download the jnlp file and tried this:

I see this:

This looks like a problem in 6u10 later fixed in 6u12.
can you just run:
javaws -J-Xdebug -J-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=5000 -verbose -viewer
when I run this with 6u12, I see command line:

thanks in advance.You can pass all parameter (rsparams-kind = 'P') and select-options (rsparams-kind = 'S') as a single internal table of type RSPARAMS. Go on appending the field names and values as rows and pass using SELECTION-TABLE parameter of SUBMIT command.
I gave appending one set of selection values for s_budat field but you can go on appending more values for s_budat and other fields.

I am adding the java options using run/debug profile ->launch setting->java options
after that when i try to execute my code
it says
could not create the Java virtual machine
and give error that particular path which i mentioned in java option is not found
XL.homeDir=D:/bipin/oimclientabove is the java option which i mentioned.

I wonder if somebody can help me. I am not able to use my internet bank anymore, since Java launched their latest update (7.51) a few days ago. Appearently this one is not compatible with my hardware. I am using Mac OSX version 10.6.8, and Java version 17.0, which seems to be the newest one for my op sys. Anybody know how I can solve this? I'm having trouble passing a variable value called from a CFC
into Flex via RemoteObject. Basically I'm trying to pass the
current logged-in user to a Combobox as a string. The Web directory
in IIS is set to dissallow anonymous access and is set to
Integrated Windows Authentication. The CFC is in the secured
directory as well as the Flex app. If I change the CGI variable to
something like #cgi.remote_addr# among others it works fine so I
know it's not the actionScript or CFC code. Any ideas as to why
#cgi.auth_user# is passing as an empty string?? One more caveat. If
I invoke the function in my CFC from a .cfm page the auth_user is
displayed as expected.

I tried to launch Flash builder, which worked since years without problem, but here, there was a problem. In the console log; it says only that :

Hi, ive been having trouble passing my logic sessions to another computer, we're both using a macbook pro 10.6.8 and logic pro 9 with the same plugins (native instruments komplete 7), the session opens in the other computer but all the synths reset to presets, this didnt happen the first time I shared a session, but its been happening lately quite often

The amount of RAM is not dependant on the operating system. It is all about the model of you Mac.
10.6.8 is the version of OS X that is installed on your system. It has no real baring on the amount of RAM that CAN be installed.
Personally I have never had good luck with Corsair RAM. I have always had good luck with Crucial and Kingston.

I'm still having problems installing Crystal Reports XI R2. It makes it through the entire installation and then a screen pops up telling me that it can not find "CrystalReports.msi". It is looking for this file in a temp file. I use the browse button and point it to the proper file location but it still won't accept it. The only thing I can do is exit out of the installation. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to do something special to upgrade Crystal Reports? -

Looks like the parameters passed in the constructor call are not valid ones and hence the database connection is not getting done.
Context context = new CZWebAppsContext("hostName","portNumber","dbcFileName");
Check the above call carefully and its parameters. I guess the dbcFileName might be the reason as other 2 entries are pretty easy to know.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side. -

if you want to use select-option directly in module pool then it is not possible.
but you can do other way.
create two varaiables
data : v_kun_low like kna1-kunnr,
v_kun_high like kna1-kunnr.
use these two variables in layout ,let user knows that he can not give options like gt,lt,eq ,it will be always BT.
and also when you see normal report program,you can use multiple values in either low or high,but here it is not possibel.
use can enter only low value and high value.
when you come to program point of view
declare one range
ranges r_kunnr for kna1-kunnr.
do the coding like
r_kunnr-low = v_kun_low.
r_kunnr-high = v_kun_high.
r_kunnr-options = 'BT'.
r_kunnr-sign = 'I'.
append r_kunnr.
now you can use r_kunnr in select query ,it will work like select-option.
other than this there is no option.

Why does captivate 5 scorm 2004 change the pass/fail status when using complete/incomplete
SUMMARY: I am trying to use SCORM 2004 reporting but I am finding out ADOBE does not diffentiate between COMPLETE/INCOMPLETED and PASSED/FAILED variables in the SCORM 2004.
RESULT: I can not accurately get the passing/failing status from the course.
QUESTION: Is their anything I can do or does ADOBE have a patch they have release which will accurately report the passed/failed STATUS as well as the completed/incompleted status.
OTHER RESEARCH: I even attempted to post these "proofs" on scorm.com and they have something called "SATISFACTION TRACKED" to accomodate content creation systems (CAPTIVATE 5) which does not follow the standards of SCORM 2004.
BACKGROUND: the report status "Incomplete/Complete" and "Pass/Fail" under the publishing options for SCORM 2004 essentially mean the same thing when the CAPTIVATE COURSE sends setvar commands to the SCORM API... In other words the SCORM API receives the same exact commands when publishing in both modes. "THIS IS WRONG"
why is the wrong? IF REPORTING; incomplete/complete ; the CAPTIVATE 5 COURSE SHOULD NOT "change" the STATUS OF PASS/FAIL when attempting to report COMPLETE/INCOMLETE with 100% slide views.

SO ADOBE when are you going to differentiate these two reporting options so that the PASS/FAIL OPTIONS ARE ACCURATELY REPORTED WHEN USING COMPLETE/INCOMPLETE?

These two field were designed to help differentiate the difference between a passing or failing score and when the course is actually completed. WITH CAPTIVATE 5 they do not differentiate the two. COMPLETE means PASS and INCOMPLETE means fail..
I was trying to use "completion_status" as a way to determine when all slides were shown. So that I can send the final score (PASS/FAIL) the LMS after all slides were viewed and this was the absoluted score the student recieved.

Here's something I found in a similar situation... hope this helps!
After publishing your CP5 project as a SCORM 2004 zip file, unzip the file so you can get into the separate files. Open the imsmanifest.xml file with a text editor; I like using Notepad++. Search for the line starting with <imsss:minNormalizedMeasure>. The complete line will probably look like <imss:minNormalizedMeasure></imss:minNormalizedMeasure>, this is the line that is supposed to contain your passing score (at least for our LMS). So, if your passing score is supposed to be 80%, edit this line to be: <imsss:minNormalizedMeasure>0.80</imsss:minNormalizedMeasure> and save the file. Then select all the files and re-zip them, I use 7-zip for that.
I found one other weird thing that doesn't happen 100% of the time, so test it. In the example above, try to get a score of exactly 80% (or whatever passing grade you are using) and see if you get the correct status reported. I found I sometimes have to re-edit that line in the manifest file to be 0.79 so it correctly includes an exact 80% score. No idea why and you have to watch the number of questions in your quiz to make sure that works for you mathematically.
If this works or not, I'd recommend posting your results so others can get some ideas. Good Luck!! -
Can't we pass java.sql.Connection as parameter toDatum() method
I am in mid of java 1.3 to 1.4 migration, now I am getting the below error.can't we pass java.sql.Connection as a param to toDatum(), but I did the same before for another module and it worked fine, now I am getting the error.

However, if you really, really, really, really need to - and I doubt you do - you can use Serializable for the type of parameter. But that's still inelegant and, well, raises all sorts of issues, starting with your design...

Trouble passing iteration values between two separate VI's
Hello,
I'm having a bit of trouble passing a while loop iteration value from one vi to another.
I have tried creating a sub-vi of the "B VI" and dropping the icon into the main vi (in picture called "A VI") and just pull the itereation value out this way. So far no luck as an error occurs which causes Labview to crash.
I've spent a lot of time trying to use invoke nodes, globals and VI server references but I haven't gotten them to work either.
In the pictures below "A VI" is the main acquisition application. "B VI" is the motor control application. Each VI will run at the same time but with their own front panel. Anyway, I would like to pass the while loop iteration value (Called "Steps") from the "B VI" to the "A VI" (essentially use this itereation value to keep track of the number of motor rotations.)
So far no luck so any help would be appreciated.

The only thing that is in B that i'd like to import into A is the "STEPS" iteration value. (its circled in green).
I'm looking to have this iteration value (from B) updated as A's loop runs.
I use the outside while loop instead of hitting the run continuously button....habit i guess
Right now I'm getting stuck on using Vi references....I've modeled examples fromt the forums and i just can't get it to work....its driving me nuts.
