Troubleshooting javascript error in OCI catalog
Hi experts.
I have created an OCI catalog for a customer.
The customer is using SAP ERP ECC 6.0 EHP4 and IE11
When the customer is launching the OCI catalog the shopping site appears and everything is great,
but when the customer is pressing a certain button in the catalog nothing happens.
I suspect that this might be due to a javascript error in the code.
However the browser in this system has no developer toolbar and every menu option
is overriden. The F12 key is escape etc.
So basically what I want to know...
Is there a way to debug a javascript error in this environment?
By the way
When I run the code in a regular browser it is working
I have tested IE7 - IE11
FF 36.0.1
Chrome 40.0.2214.115 m

"While executing applyBehavior in Swap image.htm, a JavaScript error occurred."
What should be a simple web update is turning into a nightmare. I can't select any of my images to apply onMouseOver Swap Image behaviors, and I keep getting the message above.
Can I just say right now that I hate Dreamweaver CS6 and what it's doing to this project?
Ugh!Is this a plea for help or a rant?

Javascript error occurred when create a dynamic table
Hi all,
I try to create a dynamic table using the created recordset,
but I get the javascript error message "While executing insertObject in DynamicTable.htm, a Javascript error occurred."
How to fix it? I tried to delete the cache file in Configuration folder but it is not work..
Any idea? Thanks a lot!http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/troubleshoot-javascript-errors-dreamweaver-cs4.html
Try 12 & 4 and then go through the rest. -
Back in May, I built a distribution package for installing a bunch of software the school (where I work) uses, like Firefox, Thunderbird, etc. I built individual installers for each thing (like one for apps to put into the Applications folders, another for other installers like Flash & Office updates, etc), then used the distribution package to make one monster installer package that I could run once and have all the updates done at once to save me a ton of time.
All summer, every time a new version of something came out, I updated the individual installer packages, then tried to update the distribution package also. However, every time I tried to install the updated distribution package on a computer, it gives this error: "There was an error while evaluating Javascript for the package."
It gives this same error for any computer (iBooks, Macbooks, iMacs, etc - all running 10.4). I tried rebuilding the distribution package from scratch at least three separate times and still get the Javascript error. I am able to use each of the individual packages, but not the distribution package. I didn't change the process from building the one back in May, so what am I doing wrong here?See if this helps:

I've had this problem since I switched from MX2004 to version
8, and now on CS3. When I click on Insert Image I get a message
that in Image.htm a javascript error occured. The strange thing is
I have a second computer with CS3 installed and since re-installing
windows have not experienced this problem on that computer. I have
followed the instructions in:

doesn't help.
I am using Windows XP SP2 with Dreamweaver setup to connect

very gratefulTroubleshooting JavaScript errors in Dreamweaver

This is happening in all sites and pages.
I have rebuilt the local configeration files and recreated DAT file etc but am now out of ideas.
Anyone know of a solution for this??
Much thanks in advance. Here's the full KB article. Start with 12 & 4 and then go through the rest. One of those is always the answer:

JavaScript error. Need help!
Hi,
Since 2 weeks I encountered Javascript errors when starting Dreamweaver CS6.
1st one - While Executing onLoad in BusinessCatalyst.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured: In file "BusinessCatalyst": bcinit is not defined.
2nd one - The following JavaScript error(s) occured: At line 17 of file "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6\Configuration\Shared\BC\JS\bc_ui_utils.js": MM.BC has no properties.
I don't know what this means and how to solve it. I've tried deleting the cache file and re-installing the software, but that didn't help. So can anyone guide me through the steps I need to take?
Thanks in advance!

Javascript error at startup, file open and shutdown
I am using Dreamweaver CC on Windows 7, 64-bit. Starting with the last CC update to Dreamweaver, I get a javascript error at DW startup, file open and DW shutdown. The application seems to work fine, but the errors happen everytime and are always the same. At startup, it complains that a variable bcinit does not exist in file "BusinessCatalyst." At file open, the error is in file "_onOpen" onOpen is not defined and at shutdown, in file "TeamAdminTempDelete" delTempFile is not defined.
I have no idea what is going on. Any suggestions?
