Most of my android applications are not working on data service. It works only on wifi connection. Is there any solution for this problem?

Many people seem to have been successful using these steps: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-z10-f254/fix-android-app-problem-mobile-network-connection-e...

Since last week or 2 weeks ago, some of our users (both Batam and Singapore) here encountered a problem where they are not able to browse the Internet on their BB as they used to.
    Example :
I did a test to browse on their BB
    www.cnn.com
    they will see below error:
“Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service, please try again later.
If the problem persists please contact your administrator “
However if we use ‘Google’ or  ‘Yahoo’ search on the BB and entered ‘CNN’ and run a search on it.
We are able to open the CNN  website – from the link result search by Yahoo or Google
It’s also applicable to other websites too.
    Any idea?

    Hi thatemailguy,
Are the users on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server?
    Thanks

Hi, l have the same problem, were you able to resolve?

  • Why is my iphone saying not subscribed to a mobile data service

why is my iphone saying not subscribed to a mobile data service

Most likely because it is not subscribed to a mobile data service.
Check with your cell carrier to ensure that your cell data plan is properly provisioned or get a new SIM for it.

i want to use the internet on my ipone4 but it says that im not subscribed to a mobile dater service how can i fix this

Subscribe to a mobile data service.
Call your provider and make sure you have a data package.

  • New iPhone 5 "not subscribed to a mobile data service". I have reset mobile network setting several times but issue persists.

I am having a similar problem with my new iPhone 5. I just bought it few days back but unable to use the internet. I am getting a message "not subscribed to a mobile data service". I have reset mobile network setting several times. But the problem doesn't go away.

No carrier "automatically" unlocks at end of contract - many won't do it at all, even if requested.  I don't know what your carrier's policy is since you didn't say what country you're in.
However, if I understand you correctly, you didn't change carriers so it doesn't matter if it was unlocked or not. Try the following steps, as needed:
    1. Reset phone - press both home and sleep/wake buttons for at least 19 seconds until the Apple logo appears
    2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    3. Restore phone in iTunes using a backup
    4. Replace SIM card (don't care what Telstra says)
    5. Restore phone in iTunes as new, without using a backup
    6. Take phone to Apple.

In hindsight it is unfortunate that you did not go to Menu > Office > File mgr. > Memory card > Options > Backup phone memory (to memory card) prior to reset and after format of memory card!

  • Data services stop working after updating to new OS version for Q10

I am from Qatar, after i updated my device ( Q10 SNQ100-3 ) to new OS ( 10.2.1.537 ), the mobile data services stopped working, but it works everytime I connect to wifi. This is the same with Z10. Please need help.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive
    2) Reboot
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
    Good luck!

  • BB 9330 - turning off mobile network data services causes BIS WiFi connection to change to not connected

    re: v. 6.0.0.719 bundle 3084 platform 4.4.0.560 update
    1. History.
    a. Received BlackBerry Curve 9330 out of the box with bundle 2333 installed (but missing Verizon Visual Mail Message app.) Installed BB Desktop Software on laptop, connected smartphone to PC, Attempted to install bundle 3084, but initialization apparently failed, phone still showing bundle 2333 installed and no VVM app. Browser app unable to connect to network. On second try was able to complete 3084 install. Still no VVM app. Now some times the browser connects, sometimes it does not. Browser not connecting appears to be BB software bug. VVM issue appears to be one for the service provider.
    b. Data service is currently Verizon BlackBerry Social Messaging Data Package which is suppose to have BlackBerry Internet Services via WiFi per Verizon FAQ doc.
    2. Problem. With an active WiFi connection the Browser app is not connecting via WiFi giving a error message that WiFi service is required.
Investigation found if mobile network data service was turn off in Mobile Network Options, the BlackBerry Internet Services connection status was changed from connected to "WiFi" to "not connected". Browser appears to work ok when mobile network data service is turned on. BIS connection to WiFi comes back on. Not sure at this point if web data is going via mobile network or WiFi.
I am wondering if other BB 9330 Verizon users are seeing the same symptoms.
    Bill
P.S. I could not find where to report this apparent software bug. So I hope is the right place.

If you have your Mobile Network as well as Wi-Fi turned on, your phone will default to the Wi-Fi for browsing (assuming you have a strong Wi-Fi signal).  Leaving both on will allow you to browse as well as receive calls and texts.
    I hope that helps you.

Okay ... it's a better bet with a 1067 error message when trying to start the Apple Mobile Device Service, but we'd better check for a LSP issue, as per the following document:

  • Wi-Fi not working if Data Services (Mobile Network) is OFF

Today I had some issues with the Wi-Fi connection..
The problem is that under Manage Conections > MOBILE NETWORK Settings there is an option that says: "Data Services"... As it is under MOBILE NETWORK settings which is related to my network carrier, and I don't have any Data Plan I guessed that i could turn that to OFF...
So then a few minutes later I tried to use What's App, and there was no connection... so I tried using the Browser also without lucky.
Then after looking for something that could solve my problem without finding something usefull I decided to work on it by myself, so I rebooted the BB, my Home Router, cheking for Connection Diagnose under Wi-Fi options, but nothing seemed to work until I decided to turn ON the Data Services setting I was talking about before... and voilá it started working...
I'm not sure if this is an actual problem or something else.. but I think that an option under Mobile Network should not being interfering with the Wi-Fi connection, just makes no logic at all...
    BB 8900
    OS 5.0.0.1036 (build 1682)
    Only Wi-Fi.
    Solved!

Being under "Mobile Network" you would think it wouldn't affect it but it does.  In order to use wifi you have to have Data Services turned on.  It's always been this way...

  • Exchange services drain on mobile data

Ever since the upgrade to .562 on the Arc s, exchange services seems to be using up much of my mobile data usage when left on (according to all the traffic readers).   The previous version wasn't like this.  Have had to switch it to manual sync now.
Anyone else having the same problem?
I've also noted that the battery doesn't last as long as before the upgrade.

I've developed the same problem - somehow my Ray (on 4.0.4 - 4.1.B.0.587) exchanged data with Exchange server via background a whopping 1,73Gb (my total folder size on Exchange is 139Mb) in just a week (07.09-14.09).
Tech is looking if they see what has been happening on server side.

  • Mobile data still not working - after lots of troubleshooting

Hi guys, hope you can help me! Here is my issue:- I can't use mobile data. Google Chrome (and other internet using applications) tells me, that I don't have any internet connection (unless WiFi is turned on). - I haven't got any data symbol (H+, 3g, 4g etc.) next to the network coverage/streng symbol on top of the screen.  Extra info: - As i manually search for carriers manually, I see various networks including my own operator (Called CBB in Denmark). It even shows that the chosen operator network supports 3g and 4g.- I can call and send/recieve text messages without any problems.  I have tried this:- Rebooting to Safe Mode
    - Reset the phone- Reparing Phone with PCC - as described in this link: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Ion/Detailed-Software-Repair-Instructions-using-Pc-Companion-Win-or/td-p/249946
    - Downloaded internet setting via settings > more > internet settings
    - Manually configured APN.
    - Reset APN to standard. Hope you can help me solving the problem!! Thank you

    In addition:
    - The phone is fully upgraded with Android 5.0.2
    - It's an Xperia Z1 Compact - D5503
