Trying to connect JConsole to JBOSS with exception

Hy, I am trying to connect JConsole with jboss 4.0.3. So I go the bin folder of jboss instalation directory and I execute run.bat and everything is ok but when I open JConsole and I try to connect to jboss process in local processes section I get the next exception: ''

I have tried many configurations in the run.bat and in the run.conf files of jboss but I get the same exception. I have checked the in the lib folder of jboss that the library jboss.jmx_jar has the class "org.jboss.mx.server.MBeanServerBuilderImpl". Any ideas, please?

Hi,
I think it's not possible to create a Universe directly on ECC 6.0.
You need to use a Data Federator for this to work. A Data Federator view is created on top of the ECC source using the connector then you can create Universe on top of Data Federator.
Check the below for more info on the same.

I have no proof, but I think it will not work with an adapter, only Mini Display Port or Thunderbolt.

Trying to connect a Macbook Pro with a G4 circa 2000

Hi,
I'm trying to connect my new Macbook Pro to my older G4 via an ethernet cable.
I've turned ON file sharing in the network pref's on both machines.
Have them attached directly to each other via an ethernet cable. I start up the Macbook Pro and then turn on the G4 but it doesn't show up as an option.
When I click on the ethernet option in the network pref's it states that I'm not connected.
I'm wondering if I should plug the ethernet cable from both the Macbook and G4 into my wireless router?
The G4 isn't set up for a wireless connection so something tells me this won't work unless the hard wire from both simply serves as a pass through.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
Unfortunately the status - "System waiting for something" is very vague. There could be a lot of things that you might have to look into.
1. Are you able to log into the ECC system? If yes, you may want to activate the webgui related services. If you are running it for the first time, you might have to run the program - SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL
2. you may also want to look at the user with which you log in - does the user have authorization to run the transaction.
3. Check your system object properties if all the system properties - client, port etc. are specified correctly.
In short, there could be a lot of possibilities of what the problem could be, although the real problem may be really small. If you can post something more specific, I will be able to help you.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to connect my Dashboard using Dashboard Design 4.0 to an universe with extension .UNX with the query panel.
I can log on the CMS with an administrator user and I can choose the universe "My_Universe.unx" on the select panel but I try to go to the next step I'm facing of this issue :
Universe <CUID> not found (XLS 000006)
The DataSource cannot be generated for the specified dataSource name "<Mydatasource>".
The integrity of my universe is OK, I use an ODBC 32 bits driver to connect to my dataSource which is a PostGreSQL 8 database.
I look for a quick answer because this kind of problem is very painful.

That was already done, that's the first thing I've done but the same error occurs. No matter the CUID of my universe I still get this error.
I still try to find an answer on forums or sap notes but at the moment, nothing.

Trying to connect to Airport Extreme with Dell Wireless 1370 and Windows XP

Home network using Airport Extreme Base Station with WPA-PSK (TKIP) Security. All works well with MACs in the house (G5, iMac, and Powerbook). Trying to connect a Dell Latitude D610 with built-in Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN mini-PCI Card to the home network.
Initially home network is not seen on Dell Laptop in available networks (as expected as it has not been added to list of available networks and is a "closed" network)although I do see the neighbors network so card is working and sees "open" networks.
Set-up options for the Dell 1370 card include:
Network Name (SSID)
Network Authentication (Includes "open", "shared", "802.1X", "WPA", "WPA-PSK", and "CCKM")
Data Encryption (When WPA-PSK is selected it defaults to Auto)
Network Key
Confirm Key
All other configuration items are greyed out.
I enter my SSID, select WPA-PSK, Data Encryption defaults to auto, tried entering passwrod in Network Key and Confirm Key which does not seem to work. Adds to list of preferred networks but does not indicate availability.
Question is I have a password that I use on MACs for access to WPA-PSK network. On the Dell there is no spot for a password and it does not seem to work in the Network Key or Confirm Key boxes.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Open (broadcast your SSID) your network and see if that makes a difference.
Often (especially in crowded airwaves) a closed network can cause connection issues for some adapters.

The problem is that my WEP key is, from what I see from my internet provider, 26 characters long, and I cannot enter that long a WEP key in the phone...

Trying to Connect Wireless Epson Printer with Time Capsule

Greetings. I am a regular Mac user and using Mac for several years now. However, I am a new to network administration. I have a Linksys wireless router that syncs our 5 Macs (one iPad-1 iMac and three MacBook Pros), plus 4 Windows PC's we have in our network. I recently decided to purchase a Time Machine, and further our use of Apple technology in wireless devices. I want to back up all my computer's files to Time Machine and use the Airport Extreme functions of Time Machine while discontinuing the use of my LinkSys router. However, I can't get my Epson WorkForce 600 to wirelessly connect to Time Capsule in order to use the scanner & fax functions. Connecting the printer by USB enables the printer function, but disables all other functions of the printer (fax-scan, etc.).
I tried downloading new Epson drivers and couldn't get some of them to install. This time My iMac wouldn't install the .dmg files. I tried opening the .dmg file and installing. The pop up box requiring my administrator password, kept flashing when I tried to enter my password. Since I couldn't get the .dmg files to install, my plan to update Epson driver's didn't work. Question #1: I am looking for advice how to install these weird disk image files ?
I turned off my Time Capsule, re-connected the LinkSys to the cable modem and all my wireless functions work again, especially my printer. Sadly, no Time Capsule.
I read another discussion suggestion connecting both wireless devices together. I assume since I want to use Time Capsule that I set it up with the modem and connect the other router to it via one of the four ethernet connections. I didn't want to try this until I received further advice. I am hoping I can connect my LinkSys router to Time Capsule and use the printer through the LinkSys connection with all other computers on my network.
Question #2: How can I get my Time Capsule to find the Epson so I can use it again, or should I just use the LinkSys router connected to the printer?

This sounds as if you are trying to use instructions that are more than 2 years old at this point, but you are using a new version of AirPort Utility Utility in Lion or Mountain Lion....which would not track or apply to the older instructions.
Can you confirm what operating system that you are using on the Mac that is being used to configure devices?
The new AirPort Express will connect directly to the Time Capsule using an Ethernet connection, correct?

I have no problem with hotel wireless networks or my one at home so I know my card is working. cannot figure out why I connect to my friends apple network but when I try email or to gain access to any web site I get:page not found or url not found. any help?

The Airport Admin Utility is only used to administer an airport base station, you do not use it for connecting to an Airport network.

Please dont classify me as dumb but every-time i need to connect my MBP to an external monitor or projector i cant
It just doesn't work... I plug it in using all the right connectors - DVI-VGA or the other way around... Anyway - i get a blue screen which tricks me... =]
After the blue screen i go straight to the page i was on before connecting the monitor...! =[
Anyway.. are there any settings i need to adjust.... =]
If there is anything that you guys know of please inform me because i am in need to use a Monitor frequently but so far i havn't been able to do it seen as though i don't know what to do.. Ive watched tutorials and have done exactly what they've told me but it still wont display anything on the external monitor. Ive used 2 MBP's - Both i've had issues with connecting them to an external display. i know its only a minor change i need to make in System preferences but i dont know which one it is...

I assume that you mean the blue screen is on your monitor, not your MBP. If this is the case, go to system preferences and click on displays, when the pop up box appears, click on "detect displays". See if that helps.

I just updated my iPad to iOS7 and I'm trying to connect my FaceTime to with my Apple ID and it's tells me that "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again" but I clearly have connection when I can get on safari with no problem

Have you tried restarting the phone? Hold both Home and Power buttons down until Apple logo appears and phone "reboots".
And have you tried resetting Network Settings?
Settings => General => Reset => Reset Network Settings
You will have to re-enter Wifi Passwords but it might help you get to a more solid connection on your phone.
