Trying to reset a DAQPAd-6015 with DAQmx
I'm usaign DAQmx to program a DAQPad-6015. I want to reset the device to avoid problems when my measure aborts before stoping the NI mesuring task.
If I try to create a task that already exists in DAQ I get an erroc Code -200089 (can't create task because it exists) but I can reset the device, load the existing task or do anything.
Can someone help
Your post is extremely vague. With more details, maybe someone can help. Are you getting an error from Device Reset? Why do you want to call Device Reset anyway? If you get an error during a task, you should just clear the task, and then re-create the task. Or better yet, just stop the task and re-start it.

Do you have Lock Rotation turned ON? This creates an icon that has a circle with arrow around a lock. See the control panel to turn off Lock Rotation (swipe up from the bottom of the screen to show the Control Panel). -

If the unit has NEVER been jailbroke, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless... Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -
Not sure how to fix eithe rof these conditions. I bought this on Ebay and it works fine and I was able to synch on a different computer.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

DAQPad 6015 freezes with LabView
Hi all,
I'm using DAQPad 6015 with LabVIEW 2011 (with Windows 7) for a 6-channel capacitive measurement setup. The DAQ assistant is configured as given below:
7 channels (AI0-AI6), NRSE mode (AISENSE shorted with AIGND)
Sampling rate: 10k
No of samples: 2k
'Continous Samples' mode
The VI works fine, acquires data as usual. However, after RUNNING and ABORTING execution for a couple of times (number of time varies), when I Run the code again, the Execution freezes. The DAQ Assistant does not give out data, keeps waiting for the DAQPad to respond.
The only option then is to close Labview and on doing so it shows " Resetting MuscleVI" (Muscle VI being the name of my VI) and does stops responding.
On forcibly closing LabVIEW by ending the LabVIEW process from task manager and then restarting it, the device is no longer recognized (unless system is restarted).
Stuff that I have tried:
Switched to LabVIEW 2009
Ran a simple code
Switched to a different PC (with WinXp SP3)
Nothing worked....Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.I am debugging the code at present, so as you correctly mentioned I am "ABORTING" the VI using the ABORT button. Please find the code attached. It has a number of SubVIs, which I have not attached.
The code that I have attached is slightly complicated, however, I'd like to reiterate that the problem persists even with very simple VIs (DAQ Assistant and graph indicator only).

Hi,
I'm trying to replace AI read.vi with DAQmx Read.vi. The old VI, "AI read.vi", is returning two data: 'scaled data' and 'binary data'. However, the new DAQmx read.VI has only one output. Can anyone tell me how to get both data in new DAQmx read.vi?

I am trying to reset the Security Questions as I have forgotten them, when I have logged into My Apple Id, and click on the button to reset the Security Questions, it states it is sending an email to the Primary Email address. I do not have the option to input a Rescue Email address, the only option I have is to input an Alternate Email address, which I have done so.
Also when I have tried to book an appointment throuth Online Support, I have not successful, I have rung a telephone number provided by the Mac Store in Perth, Australia and the reply provided is that we are closed. I am trying to log onto a Mac Mini I haven't used in awhile and I forgot the password. I am trying to reset the password with my apple ID but the computer keeps saying the Apple ID and the password are incorrect whenever I know they are, as I am using the exact same ID right now.
I have switched my password in the past, so my theory is my mac mini thinks that my password has not changed and it will not update because The Wi-Fi password has also changed so it cannot connect to any servers...Does that sound like I am on the right track?

Otherwise, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select

from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it. -
I was given an iPhone 4 from a friend and I was trying to reset it to factory settings but it won't let me. It's keeps popping up with a box to put in my friends iCloud account password in but I don't know it. How can i delete their iCloud account without knowing their password?
You cannot delete the iCloud account that is signed on to Find My iPhone unless you know the password. This is called the Activation Lock:
ACTIVATION LOCK
It is an anti-theft security measure that is a part of iOS 7. You can only get around this by following the steps in this support article:
Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
Contact your friend. This is the only way around the lock.

i tried to soft reset my ipod touch with the top button and the screen button. it turned off and then went to the blue screen with the apple like it should. however, it now just stays on that screen. it has a sort of clock looking thing at the bottom of the apple that does not move either. it has stayed on this screen for over 4 hours. i also can not hard reset it in itunes. i am not really goood at this sort of thing. does anyone have this problem or a possible solution? thanks

I initially created my apple account years ago. I am trying to reset my security questions because my answers are continually incorrect. I pressed the link that sends reset security questions info to my alt. address, but I have not received the email with instructions. I have resent the email several times and checked both of the emails I have set up with my apple account to no avail. I have tried everything that is provided in the support article about the issue and my problem has not be resolved. I've even deleted my alt email from the apple account and then reassigned it and tried again, however, I still have not received the email. Without knowing the answers to my security questions, I cannot purchase anything from the iTunes store, which I have been trying to do.
I do not know what the problem is and I am asking for any resolutions. Here's what I've tried;
SMC reset
Pram reset
Looked at activity monitor - mostly seems OK aside from a kernel task taking up memory (approx 460MB) but CPU is around 96% idle.
Fan seems to be running constantly - heats up noticeably when I close the MBP
Despite a re-install of Mavericks, MBP is running frustratingly slow. Just typing is enough to bring on the beach ball.
Have backed up everything, reinstalled from a clone, checked through Apple Hardware test and carried out a Verify Disk Permission - nothing was reported, erased the drive and set up again - problem still stands.
Memory is running at 3.43 GB without anything really running bar Safari.
A little loath to install SMC fan control without knowing what's wrong.
Checked software updates.
Can anyone tell me what the matter is? Does this have a fix?
Have been reading up various posts but to no avail so have resorted to posting myself.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Roque1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the request of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.

If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with "Model Identifier." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

A Problem occured with this webpage so it was reloaded this is popping up when I open any forum using safari on my iPad mini this is been happening ever since I have downloaded iOS 8 I tried to reset all the settings and reset network settings but nothing helped please if anyone can help me .
Its not necessarily freezing - just being slow to build.
May have something to do with this being a secured site - I an giving Opera a test run & this part of the apple site does not go into compressed load - but the non-secure parts of the site do. The issue may be that some sites like apples just have too much unimportant junk on the screen because the designers are on an internal network a few offices away from the server and never see all the issues that com up.
