I'm trying to set up a iTunes allowance account for my 11 year old daughter, I set up the account but put in the wrong email address, now it's trying to send the verification email to an old addy I no longer have access to. Help.
I've tried looking at my own itunes account but I cannot seem to find the allowance account, it says I currently have zero allowance accounts.
All I want to do is change the assigned email address.

Who is the email provider? Not all accounts can be set up as POP3

  • Everytime I open Photos app, iPhone 4 tries to send a picture email.

Address isn't filled out but it is using a pic that isn't even the latest pic taken and now I have deleted all traces of that picture and it still pops up. Not necessarily super important, but it is annoying having to click cancel, then delete draft every time I wanna see a picture. Also checked drafts already, empty. Any ideas?

SEEMS TO BE FIRST CASE OF THIS GLITCH, SOLUTION AT BOTTOM!
I feel bad because I can never remember the names of the people I talk to at customer support but thank you to the very nice lady who helped me. (Rita?, Lisa? Linda? Sorry!)
Anyways, she said it was the first case of this she had seen as well (chalk it up to early adoption) so she had to ask higher ups, not something I think anyone enjoys doing, and refused to have me take "just restore" as an answer.
The suggestion of deleting the email account that was being used by the glitch to try sending the email, then re-adding, worked!
Details: Gmail account that was added under microsoft exchange for push support.
Had already deleted all instances of that picture on phone, then all instances on gmail and mobileme accounts by her suggestion, yet it was still popping up instantly when Photos launched. Still not sure where that was cached.
Anyways, looks like this is the first case of this. I tried calling back to thank her, but apparently we had gone past closing time while on the phone (hope you got some overtime!)
So if you ever read this, thanks from Javier @ 707,
    SOLUTION:
Delete email account being used by the "glitch" when it tries to send the picture email, check to make sure it's fixed. Took a few tries for me but finally cleared up without reboot or anything. Then just re-add the email account.
In this case it was a Gmail account but set up under Microsoft Exchange to use Push. I also had a mobileme account attached but not for email. So other accounts shouldn't matter if not being used for email. If you have multiple email accounts being used for email, just find out which email is being used to actually send it by letting it send the picture. Then delete accordingly. Re-add.

  • Trying to send Video via email?

I am trying to send a video that I recorded on my Nokia lumia 920 via email as it is to long/big for MMS.  The problem is when I go to attach a file from email, it only pulls up pictures and doesn't even show my videos.  It happens both on my yahoo and google accounts.  I would hope Nokia wouldn't limit this option but I can't think of anything else.  Can anyone help with this issue?  How can I access videos from my phone and send via email??  Thanks

i think this is due to the size restrictions of videos, as such, it would probably be impractical to send a 40MB video via email in comparison to a 2MB photo. if you need to, you can always upload your videos to SkyDrive and send a link to the desired recipient via that.
UPDATE: i've gone to the gallery and long-tapped on a video and selected Share: and selected Hotmail, and it said it was compressing the video and then added it to a blank email as a .mp4. You can always try that.......

  • Error When Trying To Send MMS via email

Ive been trying to send an MMS via email. Ive got it to work a couple times but other times I get a message that says: MAILER-DAEMON.....etc....remote host said: 550 SMTP connection refused [BODY]"....
I sent the pic message to a verizon phone by emailing to [email protected]
    please help. thanx.

I'm not sure why a Verizon subscriber not updating the PRL for their phone affects this, but it can.
As already provided, ask the Verizon subscriber to update the PRL for their phone per the instructions included with this link, which should resolve the problem.

  • Trying to send password reset email for old Apple ID but it isn't found

I had no idea where to post this, sorry I'm new to this! Moments ago, I finally was able to access an old email account that I used to create my previous Apple ID. When I tried to send myself a password resent email so that I could finally access my old iTunes acciunt music to get back all of my old purchasEd, no email was ever sent. I tried seeing if that email was connected to the iTunes account by using the forgot my username thing but it told me that no Apple id was found that was connected to that email. I know that this email is connected to this Apple ID because I searched it and found receipts for all of my old purcahases. Did Apple delete my old ID? I really just want to get my old songs back so I'd really appreciate if somebody could help me!

iTunes accounts aren't deleted, unless you contact iTunes Support and ask them to do (and if they agree to do so). You are sure that the email address is still attached to the iTunes account, you hadn't updated its primary email address to be a different address ? If you can't find it via http://iforgot.apple.com then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can find it :  http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

  • I been trying to send pictures thru email but it always say my email server didn't recognize my username /password combination... I don't know how to fix it... please help.

I need help... I been trying to send pictures  in iphoto thru email but it says that may emai server didn't recognize my username/password combination.

What email service? There have been many reports of issues with Yahoo mail with iPhtoo and with other clients -
The general answer for iPhoto '11  with e-mail issues is
in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
    OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

  • What do I do when trying to send a reply email and it won't send because it doesn't allow relaying?

What do I do to be able to send a reply email when the response is it doesn't allow relaying?

Try this and see of you can get the reply to go through.
    http://appletoolbox.com/2012/01/server-does-not-allow-relaying-email-error-fix/
    How to fix
If this is an AOL issue, try these: go Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select your AOL.com account > SMTP from the Account Info Page > SMTP from the SMPT Page > make sure that the Server is ON, make sure that the Host Name is smtp.aol.com. Further make sure your username and password are correct and added in the Outgoing Mail server; make sure that Authentication is set to Password and make sure that Server Port is 587
If this is not an AOL email: go Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts >Account Info > SMPT> turn off primary server, turn on other (e.g. AT&T) SMTP server.
Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Your Account > Outgoing mail Server SMTP > Primary Server then turn Server ON and fill in both User Name and Password under Outgoing Mail Server.

  • Help trying to send a big email shot using mail

I am a small business and we have about 3,000 email contacts on our books. Occasionally we like to send them an email to show offers etc. Can anyone let me know the best way i could do this? at the moment my broadband supplier only allows me to send 20 emails at a time so i takes me forever to get through 3,000! On my old PC i used to be able to do an email mail merge via excel straight to outlook so after a few clicks it would automatically send to every customers individually so i could just leave it for 30 mins or so and it would be complete!
Is there anyway i can do the same using mail? i am happy to use either excel or numbers to obtains this!
    Thanks in advance
    Andy

I use .mac and can send as many emails as I want.
You just use Apple Mail set up with your .Mac account as outgoing mail server.
This way you never have to worry who your ISP is or what they allow you to do.
    That's my suggestion.
BTW... Your question should really be posted in the Mail forum. Just so you know.

  • Xpath error while trying to send attachment with email

    Hi,
I was trying to execute the BPEL sample - SendingAttachementWithEmail, as given in the tutorials.
I had mapped the 'contentBody' in attachment[2] to
    ora:readFile(bpws:getVariableData('inputVariable','payload',
    '/client:SendEmailWithAttachmentProcessRequest/client:attachmentURI')
    I have a file called "SOA.txt" in my C:\ (C drive).
I specified the following details in my 'initiate' screen
    to - jcooper
    subject - sample email
body - testing how to send email with attachment
    attachmentName - SOA.txt
    attachmentMimeType - multipart/mixed
    attachmentURI - file:C:/SOA.txt
I got the following error while executing the process, can any one please tell me where I am going wrong. Are the values I am passing correct?
    Error
    XPath expression failed to execute.
Error while processing xpath expression, the expression is "ora:readFile(bpws:getVariableData("inputVariable", "payload", "/client:SendEmailWithAttachmentProcessRequest/client:attachmentURI"))", the reason is C:\SOA.txt (The system cannot find the file specified).
    Please verify the xpath query.
What could be the problem with the xpath query.

Thanks for your suggestions, but it still does not work.
The following is the error I get when I enter
    file:///c:/SOA.txt as my attachmentURI.
    XPath expression failed to execute.
Error while processing xpath expression, the expression is "ora:readFile(bpws:getVariableData("inputVariable", "payload", "/client:SendEmailWithAttachmentProcessRequest/client:attachmentURI"))", the reason is c:\SOA.txt (The system cannot find the file specified).
    Please verify the xpath query.
I followd the same steps as given in the tutorial 'SendEmailWithAttachment' available under the folder <BPEL_HOME>\integration\orabpel\samples\tutorials\SendEmailWithAttachment.

  • Mail keeps trying to send the same email over and over

I tried sending an email, but it was too big to send, but not matter what I do, it keeps trying to re-send it anyway (even after deleting the message), it says:
"Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online. Mail has saved other messages in mailbox “On My Mac” in “On My Mac” so that you can complete the actions while online.
Additional information: The connection to the server “imap.aol.com” on port 993 timed out."
And I now have 5 of the same email in my outbox.
    please help!
    thanks

  • I get a "Too many recipients" Thunderbird error msg when trying to send a group email -- how many is too many ? does Thunderbird have a limit?

My ISP says it doesn't impose a limit on the number of recipients in a group email, BUT still I get a Thunderbird error msg. Why?

Well, no, because 4 or 5 times a year, someone writes in with pretty much exactly your question because they too have had a message refused with the "too many recipients" warning. We suggest they use a Mailing List and all is well.
