Trying to use a an object value which is dynamic

Hi,
I created a function to create components while the system
loop over all the categories of products it can find in a
ArrayCollection. Everything is fine to display the information but
while I was trying to put a bit of style to the component itself, I
got myself into a hole of knowledge.
Here is the concept:
I have 1 HBox at 100% of width which include 2 HBox (1 for
the icon and 1 for the label of the current category of product).
What I want is when the mouse is over the main HBox, to make an
ALPHA effect. But when I passed over the icon or the label, I will
not be able to reproduce the same effect as I do not have the
reference of the main HBox. In fact, I just don't know how to do it
but I am sure there is a method (or a best practice) to do it.
If anybody have an idea, please let me know.

Ah, ok, I get it now. Here's info on passing more than one
arg with an event listener:
Because the second parameter of addEventListener() is a
function, you cannot specify parameters of that function in the
addEventListener() call. So, to pass additional parameters to the
listener function, you must define them in the listener function
and then call the final method with those parameters.

Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so your could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app).

I cannot download i tune updates or do a reinstall as I get a message saying that the faciity I am trying to use cannot be located can anyone please help?

Trying to use Web LCID property to get the List name in client object Model

I am trying to change the "Personal Documents" list NoCrawl property under MySite using SharePoint Client Object Model. As we use web.Lists.GetByTitle("Personal
Documents"); method to get the list,but here problem is :for different language List name is in their language.So I tried to use LCID property of the WEB and
have taken key-value pair (PersonalSiteOnet_List_PersonalDocuments) from the resource file for that language from 14 hive.
Example:I have selected Spanish language .there are so many LCID for Spanish language but Microsoft has given only one language pack for Spanish.

According to your post, my understanding is that your requirement is getting list in different language.
Here are two ways for your reference:
1. We can use getById method instead, so that we can avoid the language issue.
2. We can use an array to store the different list name in different language in you JavaScript code, then use the code snippet below to get the list:

How to Get Resource value which are referred in code behind file using IResourceProvider

Hi Everyone,
Currently I'm working on moving the Resource file from "App_GlobalResources" to Database by using IResourceProvider. I created a CustomResourceProvider project using ResourceProviderFactory and able to get the resource values from DB which
are used in aspx page.
But i'm not able to get the values which are referring from code behind file.
Ex: Label1.Text = Resources.Common.Car; // This is still coming from resx file.
Can any one please let me know how to get the value from DB instead of resx file which are referred in cs file.
Appreciate your help.
The below code uses the ResourceProviderFactory which calls this method and gets it from DB. Please let me know if you need any more info.

SharePoint 2013 implement simple logout button which do not redirect to default sign out page using JavaScript client object model

I am using windows authentication in my web application.
My requirement is to implement a sign out button which will sign out the user without having him to close the browser and application should not ask him to login again.
I tried following two options:
1. Redirecting the user to default signout.aspx page " /_layouts/15/SignOut.aspx "
2. Using "Sign In as a different user" URL " /_layouts/15/closeConnection.aspx?loginasanotheruser=true "
In first case, user is redirected to default sign out page but he can press "Go Back to Site" link to revisit the site. Another major issue is that the user has to close the browser to sign out from the application completely, which is not desirable
in my project requirement.
In second case, the the current user is signed out of the application but if the user has saved the password in browser, he gets signed in automatically to the application.
I also came across the solution where we replace the default sign out page with a custom sign out page, but I am not sure whether it can be implemented using JavaScript Client Object Model of SharePoint.

CAML Query to get specific item in folder based on dropdown value using Javascript client object model

I am using the Javascript Client object model.
I have a custom list and a custom document library.
Custom list contains 2 columns - dlName , dlValue
The document library contains 2 folders - "folder1" , "folder2" and contains some images.
The image name starts with the "dlValue" available in the custom list
I am using a visual webpart and using javascript client object model.
I am trying to achieve the below functionality:
1) Load a dropdown with the custom list.
2) set the image based on the value in dropdown.
I have achieved the first option, I have set the dropdown, but not sure how to query the folder and set the image.
Below is the code i have used so far:

I'm working on Windows 8.1... I think that I may have found the issue... I was saving the file in a project directory rather than the default My Captivate Projects folder...
Perhaps Captivate was struggling to find resources it needed?
It hasn't crashed for a while now, though it is struggling - I'm working with a 54 slide PPT presentation that is linked and it takes a very long time to interact.
Sometimes it says that I've removed slides, which I haven't?

How can I hold a value of voltage, which can be used as a numeric value

Hi, I'm trying to read in a voltage value and then hold it when i press a button. This value should then be able to be used as a numerical value, e.g. I can divide it or add constants etc. I realise this is probably a totaly remedial question, but it's for my dissertation at uni and my tutor thought it would be a great idea to program part of it in Labview, which NOONE in the uni knows how to use, and we've never been taught it.

I'm reading the voltage going into a DC motor (max 200V) so i'm using a 10:1 voltage divider to reduce the voltage seen by my labjack since it can only measure up to 20V. I read the voltage seen at the voltage divider, e.g. 20V at 200V and then, in labview, multiply this by a multiplying factor to get it back to 'actual' voltage. e.g. 20*10 = 200. But since resistors aren't made perfect, (especially not 5A ones) my divider actually works out at something like 9.8756:1. Therefore I have to set the voltage to the motor to something known (e.g. 100V), then tell labview that value, it reads the voltage input to it through the labjack, and MultFactor = UserInputVoltage/LabjackVoltage.
Using the multiplying factor, I can then display the 'Actual' voltage over the motor.
The motor is also being controlled by LabView, but this is simply using a slider, attached to an analogue_out VI for the LabJack, so shouldn't be too consequential.
Now to answer your questions.
1) The LabJack is a USB device which 'instantaneously' reads the voltage, so as the voltage input to it changes, so does the value output by its VI in LabView. It changes in real time.
2) I will need to continue to use the input from the LabJack once I have generated the mulitplying factor, multiplying the LabJack input by the multiplying factor in real time, so I can plot a graph of the change in voltage with 'real' values.
3) Do you mean what does my program do just now when i release the button, or what i want it to do?
4) I don't know how to structure the program, but hopefully what i've said above should help.
5) The interface will include;
Numeric Control to set the 'actual' input voltage
A button to tell the program when to generate the mulitplying factor
A waveform chart displaying the 'actual' voltage (0-200V)
A slider that I can use to control the motor. (this part i can do myself, it's a reference for a PWM circuit connected to a buck converter)

How do I use a bean to determine which message bundle value to use?

Is there a way to use a bean to determine which message from my message bundle I use? I want to be able to call my bean in JSF/JSP page, have the bean return a String, and use that String to pick a message from my message bundle properties file. Now I can do this:

Ah this way. So you want that much of nasty if statements in the bean instead? ;)
Then make use of the fact that you also can access Map values using the brace notation. E.g.
<h:outputText value="#{bundle[bean.messageKey]}"/>Where getMessageKey() returns the message key, e.g. 'messageA' or 'messageB' and so on.

You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
