Then you need separate Apple ID's & iCloud accounts. This is required if you want to use things like iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud and not have a mess on your hands. -
I just installed ios7 on my iPhone 4s. It seems to be working fine but all of the apps I had previously installed are gone. They show up in my app store as purchased, but the shortcuts are gone. Does anyone know how to get the shortcuts back? Thanks!
I updated via my iPhone 4s. The apps were on my iPhone 4s. That's all the information that I have. The update to ios7 seems to have gone smoothly - everything else is working, phone texting, email, internet, etc. But all of the apps I had installed over the past year are no longer showing up as shortcuts. No facebook, no twitter, no espn, etc. They are all still listed in my app store as purchased, but the shortcuts and my folders are gone. Thanks.

When opening the Coloursync utility and pressing the verify button, I received an error message (copy below) stating that the Tag 'cprt':Text tag has an incorrect length which could not be fixed as the file is locked. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

I followed the steps to unlock the .icc file in the "getinfo" screen then went on clicking repair in colorsync utility.
This is the message i got:

New to mac so I really don't know what to do.
I didn't get this message so far. What i did before getting this message was to open a jpeg file. I wanted to edit it so when i did right click on the file i went to open with, and colorsync came as an option; so i chose it.
Then this message started comming up.
Is there anything i can do?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Didn't provide support didn't discuss, just mentioned.

Let's see if we can't get this phone working for you! What exactly is happening with the device? Is the screen just out and you can hear that it will still ring, or is the phone completely dead? Please elaborate more on what you are experiencing.

When i logged onto my itunes account, my daughters contacts uploaded to my iphone. We do not share the same itunes account so i don't know how this happened. Does anyone know how to remove her contacts from my phone with out having to manually delete them one by one?
Apparently, you have set up the same iCloud account on both devices or you are syncing both devices under the same user ID on the same computer and have ended up syncing both of them with the same address book on the computer.

Does anyone know how to enable editing on a new computer? I only have an 8gb phone and over 4gbs of music, half of which I don't even listen to anymore. I really want it off my phone, but when I plugged it into my new macbook nothing would delete. My old computer barely turns on so I can't even plug it into the old one to delete anything. I hit the sync button on the new computer and that didn't help either. I'd really like to upgrade to the new software but don't have the room on my phone until this music/a few apps are deleted. Any help would be appreciated!!
Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing. The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as). The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue). However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens. It will not change to highlight that user.

The red, green and yellow buttons in the upper left corner of the screen disappear whenever I open Safari. I cannot minimize the Safari window which I often need to do if I am coordinating multiple windows between different applications. Does anyone know how to get those buttons back? I guess I could just switch betwen appliations, but I am used to doing it the other way.

My Iphone 4 will not charge after ipdate to IOS 7.0.4, Does anyone have a solution ? I have tried apple cables and chargers. I see many have the same issue. Anyone made progress ?
No offence, but as with quite a few others, my Iphone stopped charging on mains after iOS 7.0.4 update too.
Not sure you can categorically advise that "it simply is not a software issue" when so many different people are having the same symptoms after updating their iOS Just have a quick Google!
Luckily my (original Apple) cable will still allow recharging via USB to a laptop. So, process of elimination would point to a bricked charger that was working faultlessly up until the iOS 7.0.4 update was applied. Seems quite a stretch to be a coincidence.

Does anyone know how to track a missing iPhone?
My partner purchase an iPhone 5s under my name last dec. 2013 I only found out when I receive a delivery email. Two days later I saw him setting it up but don't have any idea what Apple ID he uses. Then the following day it's missing and he told me he lost it. I tried calling the service provider and complained them about it as I am the one that's paying for it. $56 AUD / month they didn't seem to give a **** as long as I'm paying which ****** me off they didn't even confirm my identity prior on purchasing the phone cause if they did I would have known and they would have talk to me before approving it. Until now I'm still paying with that stupid phone that I didn't even get a chance to use. I don't know the serial number either of that phone all I know is its iPhone 5s 16GB white as it's stated on my bill simcard is still active but no outgoing or incoming calls mails or anything. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out a little.
With Find My iPhone enabled with the iCloud account settings on the iPhone.
If not enabled on the iPhone, there is no way for you to track it. -
Does anyone know how I can sync my iphone with a new computer?
I have a new computer (PC), itunes is downloaded. I have spent most of the day using both an external hard drive and my iphone to transfer the apps, music, videos etc onto my new computer, which worked without an issue.
I have deauthorised the old computer and authorised the new one with my apple ID.
However, when I try to sync my phone to the new computer it wont update anything on my iphone (i.e. photos that are on the computer wont transfer over etc, even though I have selected that file to sync). It is starting the sync but then comes up on the progress bar saying "cancelling sync".
Any ideas, I'm slowly going mad!This will define syncing http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1296. The advantage is it allows you to backup the phone, you can sync music onto the phone, as well as contacts and calendars.
