If you do not have one you will have to supply a bank card or redeem an iTunes Gift Card.

What you normally should do when you have an iTunes card that has not been activated is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. If they refuse to help, as some retailers do, or you don't know or can't get to the retailer, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They will ask for a scan of the front and back sides of the card as well as a scan of the receipt

There is no way to remotely track any device that is turned off, or does not have an internet data connection. In that case, no remote system can possible communicate with the device, nor the device send any information to any remote server. Any device, not merely an iPhone, shares that same limitation. Remote tracking is only possible if the device and the tracking system can talk to eachother.
Apple does not offer any other feature because they are not a law enforcement agency. They are bound by the same privacy laws that keep you from snooping in somebody's house just because you claim they have something of yours.
Of course there are alternate ways to track a powered on and connected cell phone, but Apple has neither the legal nor the moral authority to do such things. Just because something is technically possible does not mean that any big company and just go out and do them.
Since when is it always "someone else's" fault and responsibility to deal with your lost or stolen private property? I don't get this mentality of passing either the blame or the responsibility on to someone else.

Very very likely that tax is applicable and tax is more than $0.01. You need to add a payment method for the tax. If you add a credit card, the girft card balance will be used up first.

Dear apple support communities, I am having trouble finding the codes for iTunes gift cards and iTunes gift using my iPad device to complete my new apple I'd account, is there any way I can complete my account without using an iTunes gift card codes?

The gift card field is optional, you can add your credit card details instead as your payment method (I don't think that debit cards are still accepted). All iTunes gift cards are country-specific i.e. they can only be used in their country of issue on accounts that are based in that country - so you may not be able to fill it in anyway. If they are available in your country then you might be able to buy them from Apple, electrical stores, supermarkets etc.
If gift cards aren't available in your country and you don't have a credit card then are other payment methods shown on that screen which you do have ? If not then you can create a new account by following the instructions on this page (the instructions won't work with existing accounts) which will give you a 'none' option on the payment screen and allow you to download free items : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534

I've been having the same issues too, and thought it was just my outdated computer or account?!
Every time I try to purchase a song, "session has timed out" shows up after I click "agree" to the terms!? I seem to be in the exact same scenario as 'SportsBarn' above: Itunes support have replied repeatedly with the same "solutions" but nothing has helped or even been applicable. I have an older laptop, 2005 Powerbook running OS X 10.4 Tiger so it's not compatible with the latest iTunes 10.5.2 which requires minimum OS X 10.5. I am interested in purchasing "x" ITunes gift cards and shipping them to one of the countries in the Gulf like Qatar, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi.
