I upgraded to 6 but now cannot access my Nergear router at home. I have deleted security and reset networks, but no luck.

Like Dan White, I have found that I can still run the Lide 90 under Mavericks. As Dan says, the buttons on the front of the scanner don't work but I rarely if ever used them.
I have just tested the scanner using Acrobat Pro and it loads up the Scangear software to capture the scan, with no problems at all. I didn't have to reinstall anything as it was all there already and working in Mountain Lion. Photoshop CS 5.1 is different; it does not recognise the scanner, presumably because it can't find a TWAIN driver for it. Image Capture does not recognise the scanner either, but I don't have the latest (10.8) Canon MP Explorer and Explorer Opener software installed. -
Not able to use firefox browser preview in Dreamweaver CS5.5 after upgrade to version 8.0.1. Now can preview only in Safari.
Don't know if there is an option make the download window stay up, but you can bring it back with Ctrl+J then right-click on the download to open the folder it was downloaded to.

Upgraded to iTunes 11.0.3 and now cannot access music.
I upgraded ti iTunes 11.0.31 on my iMac [OS 10.7.5] and now I am unable to access my itunes library. NOT HAPPY. I have over the years accumulated over 1000 albums that I now seem to have lost. Has anyone got an answer? Clearly Apple doesn't give a whatever.

I guess like many people I've spoken to it's time to move away from Apple ...a declinig market may be the only thing which will make them realise they need to be more responsive to and respectaful of the millions of individuals who have been their loyal customers for many years.
My business has started moving to Windows and we have been surprised how good it is and products like Office 360 are fabulous in the business environment. We have heaps of iMacs ready for the scrap heap!
I am now looking for an alternative to iTunes. Not an easy feat but clearly there is a huge market opportunity out there for someone to produce a decent product. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. -
I have an iphone 4 and an HP Pavillion with windows 7. I always have been able to connect my iphone to my laptop and open
the DCIM folder and see the picture icons so I can pick the ones I want to download. After upgrading to iOS8 I cannot see the icons after a
few seconds of connecting the phone to the computer. They all turn into the windows icon.

Hi All, I reluctantly upgraded to IOS 7.1.1 on my IPAD last night , reluctant as every upgrade which promises fixes which dont impact me causes problems that do , which I fix via this community. Today I can no longer access my WIFI at home, my non Apple devices all work fine.I have tried all the online suggestions I can find for this, reset facgtory settings, it will not allow me to 'forget this network', I try to reconnect and it asks for my password which I know is correct and it says it cannot access my network. It can access an unsecured one I believe, but that is not ideal. Any fresh suggestions would be really welcome, please. Many thanks

I have a MacBook Pro 4.1.
I have been unable to upgrade the software beyond OSX 10.5.8.
I have an iphone 4S and have previously been able to transfer tracks from itunes to the phone but now - though I can download music to the laptop, I cannot transfer them to the phone as I get an error message saying I need Itunes 11.1 which I have downloaded but I cannot run apparently because of the old operating system. Is there any way 'round this - without going back to the old OS on the phone?To get to the next stage, Mac OS X 10.6, you will need to BUY a 10.6 DVD from the Apple Online Store and have them ship it to you. Once you have Installed, Update to 10.6.8, and a much newer version of iTunes will become available as an Update.

I accepted the latest 8.3 iOS upgrade last night which resulted in my not being able to turn on the iPad.
Following the troubleshooting guidelines I can get as far as the black screen by forcing a restart (holding both buttons) all I can see is the diagrammatic picture of the charger and the iTunes red logo. I cannot move on from here and the instructions indicated that a message should show offering the iOS upgrade - but this is not happening for me!
If anyone can help it would be hugely appreciated - many thanks.

It sounds like your iPad is in recovery mode after an error in the update process that may have occurred. The solution to this would be to plug it into a computer running the latest version of iTunes and press the restore button. This will ease the iPad and reinstall iOS. Hopefully you setup an iCloud or iTunes backup for the device. -
Upgraded to OSX 10.6.8 and now cannot print to Xerox Phaser 6180DN
Since upgrading to OS X 10.6.8 on 23rd June I have found that printer reports as "paused".
If you click "resume" it apparently accepts the command but then comes back immediately as "paused".
Any advice would be appreciated (though I suspect it is a glitch in 10.6.8.)

At first I was getting this error:
a valid signing identify matching this profile could not be found in your keychain
So I removed by Cert and Provisions and rebuilt them all following apple's instructions.
Now I'm getting this error:
Code Sign error: a valid provisioning profile matching the application's Identifier 'com.yourcompany.AppName could not be found
Which I cannot find a solution for ...

I can only build in the simulator, I cannot build to the device when selecting 'Device 2.2.1 | Debug'.

I upgraded to Firefox 6.0.2 and now cannot download websites in the .mht format.
Previous versions of Firefox allowed me to download web pages as .mht files.
Firefox 6.0.2 will not.
I now have to switch to Internet Explorer 9 when I want to download web pages in the .mht format.You should be able to find an addon that will allow you to save and open .mht files. For example:

OK. In iTunes on the computer, since you have the ringtones there, one simple method to try would be to drag them to the desktop, and then directly from the desktop to your phone in the Devices menu in iTunes.

PSC 1315 no longer supported for scanning since Mac OS X v10.5 or while using any newer OS, there is no scan software provided by either HP or Apple (Image Capture)
