well i have to be honest, but i don't know if it the vista you use has any significance for this. but you can try.
okay follow:
1: click "start" on the status line on the buttom of your screen.
2: then click on "all Programs" and find "Accessories" and find the "command prompt"
3: Right click with your mouse "command prompt" and click on "run as administrator"
(as you has click'd on "run as administrator", "command prompt" should appear.)
4: when it appears you need to type this "netsh windsock reset"
5: wait for your computer to registrer the command you gave it, and restart your computer.
then erverything should be pretty much as good or better then new. -

I do not have a folder called "SyncServices" in my HDD!
Sync process is not shown in the task manager!
I have tried renaming/copying the "sqlite3.dll" but yet nothing worked!
I reinstalled i tunes 8 times!
I degraded itunes ASWELL!
I tried restoring!
I tried erasing Sybc history!
(You may noe have an idea how ****** I may be!!!)
Please for gods sake help me fixing this out!! I can wait to sync my stuff!I finally solved this problem my self!!
There is no other way to get this sorted than to re-install windows. It may be some corrupt windows file that causes this error.
TIP- If you do not want to erase all the data on your PC reinstall windows on another empty drive thus making your computer run on dual OS's. -
A while back I had to restore my laptop to factory settings due to a virus. Until that time, I was able to sync my newer Ipod Touch 4th Generation. Now, even though when I connect my Ipod, it shows it there, I am unable to sync it with my Itunes on my laptop. Therefore, I cannot get all my music onto the Ipod. I tried to troubleshoot. It said to go under my Ipod and manually sync, but when I clicked the "sync" but, after a few minutes an error came up saying "Could not sync. Sync failed to start." Anyone know what I can do?

Please let me know how can i overcome this problem.Take the old hard drive and try one of the data recovery programs like Data Rescue 3 and others.
Apple didn't in the past support re download of purchased material.
And there are so many ways to backup data, clone a drive, archive, from the free to the built-in to the more expensive.
I keep the OS on one drive, media files and data on another drive, and a good 1.5TB drive today costs $109. Paragon has backup, clone (makes a full boot drive, not an 'image' such as Acronis or Ghost) so you can use it almost like a daily or weekly mirror.
Depends on the software and data lost and cost of recovery programs and services, but it may be possible. Put the drive in a USB case perhaps and a new drive to recover the files to. -
Running Windows 7, iTunes is not able to sync my iPod, gets stuck on backing up
I have un- and re-installed iTunes, but syncing my iPod (1st gen) is getting stuck during the backing up process. My husband's computer, also running Windows 7, freezes whenever he opens iTunes.

<Edited By Host>Can you try another 30 pin USB dock connector cable if you have one lying around or know somebody you could borrow one from temporarily.
Another good test at this point would be to connect the iPod to another PC or Mac with that same cable to verify if it's a problem with the cable or your own Mac/PC.

You could go hunting for a fair price on a refurbished or restored Intel-based Mac or MacBook, as most early models of CoreDuo and Core2Duo can run Snow Leopard 10.6.8, and some much more recent.
The Apple Store's Special Deals section that is online has some fairly recent examples of hardware with an OS, original accessories as noted, power cord, and complementary one year coverage. Eligibility for extended AppleCare plans are noted & may be available for various items in the store. Subject to availability. Refurbished. Like new. The price difference can be about the same as the additional two year AppleCare plan may cost, so get that too.
Third party repaired restored or available through other channels vary in quality, quantity, condition, and may be lacking in some or most original accessories; they should include basic hardware as originally equipped and have the boot-install software disc set as intended for that build model & year specification, included.
Auction sites rarely have that much of a kit together, w/ missing discs, scruffy, extra fees, etc. On the other hand, companies that restore and repair Macs for a living and are authorized Apple service centers may have something, if you aren't in the market for something holiday new or really quick. Older models if reasonably refurbished can still shine years later.

Little disappointed - my first reaction
I had FCE 1.0.1 which I could not use since I have an Intel Mac. Just received the 4.0 update. I can't see much changed since 1.0.1! What's going on here? Also- where are all the different styles of pre-formed texts? there were so many in 1, only a h
