TS1424 When I try to download my purchased music I get the following error message after it repeatedly tries to download: zero KB or 6.8 MB - stopped (err = -100000)
This occurs whether I try to download to itunes on my PC with Windows Vista or to my iPod Touch (4th Gen). Any suggestions please?
On about the 50th try to re-download the track it finally worked for some unknown reason (??). Any suggestions to help make sure this error doesn't occur again so I can maintain my sanity?

I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard version in Windows 8.1 and when I try to create a .pdf file, I receive the following error message "Acrobat could not open "file name.log" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged. To create a PDF document, go to the source application then print the document to .pdf" I am going to the source application and printing the document to .pdf yet it's saving the file as a .log file. I have a similar problem which i did not have before...and it exists only in some powerpoint files which i want to print as a pdf file...and i get the same message as above.

Since you're new to After Effects, I recommend starting here and working your way through the basic learning materials. Doing so will prevent much frustration. -

Still: Takes over 2 minutes (not hooked up to phone) to open Edit-Preferences-Device...and can't find any backups?!?! Takes over 2 minutes to even open the phone to change spps, musice, books, etc....but won't let me do anything with contacts...wonder if this is what that error message is about (because I don't actually sync to an email program, I've just kept it all on the phone - mistake).

I have deleted and recreated "My Card" several times, but iCal is still not recognizing the card. The application was working fine until a few weeks ago. I recently purchased Microsoft Office for Mac but have not installed any other new software. Also checked to make sure my mac software is updated. Help!!!

Have you also used Address Book>Card>Make This My Card?
If you have, you could also quit iCal, find the com.apple.ical.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences folder and drag it to the Desktop. Then log out/in or restart and check if your card is recognized. -
When I deleted Miro and got utorrent I started getting the following error message
When I go to open a .torrent file from the downloader it says "C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Temp\{file name}.torrent could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location." What do I do to fix this?

When I try to download books I purchased from Kobo I get the following error message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E IO CANNOT OPEN.
I've spent hundred of dollars on books that I can't get access to! How can I fix this?I've been having the same issue! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE but that hasn't helped; I've even created a new Adobe ID and that was also a fruitless venture. I haven't yet tried to unauothorize my device, but I am hesitant to do so as it seems that others have tried and have not succeeded. I am desperately caught in the middle of a series and I would love to have access to the new books that I've been trying to download from my library!

Can anyone help solve this problem?I've done a search on here and haven't found any solutions posted for it for windows computers. You could try posting in the iTunes For Windows forum and see if you get any suggestions in there (are you able to download other items from the store e.g. a free app ?) - I use a Mac, the only things that I could think of to suggest trying is see if you get the same error on a different iTunes library :
creating and/or opening a different iTunes library : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589
or using a different user account on your computer in case it's a problem with that user account.
But you may want to try the iTunes For Windows forum first, apart from anything else you are likely to get better help for the above -
I am using a 2003 eMac and am running on Mac OSX vs 10.4.11. I amrunning iTunes 8.2.1 (6) and not able to upgrade iTunes on this computer. iTunes is not recognizing music I have purchased and when I try to connect when it request me to I get the following error message:
Cannot complete iTunes Store request. A required iTunes component is not installed (-42404)
Please help.Is this music purchased back in DRM days? I don't actually have any iTunes music so I can't test with my iTunes 7.5, but I know that without iTunes 10 you cannot even connect to the store anymore. I wouldn't think that would require an active connection to the store all the time, otherwise how could you play music on a computer in the middle of nowhere? Did you do something to trigger iTunes suddenly wanting to connect and check on machine authorization?

Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents -
Some of my applications have been saying I need the latest version of Adoebe Flash Player. When I try to download it I get the following error message: 'Frame Load interrupted' and the installation stops. Any suggestions?
You can only use apps downloaded from the App store, not via a browser. There is no Flash for any iOS device including the iPod.
