TS1503 If I turn off photo stream on my I phone 5 will I loose the pictures in photo stream and camera roll?
I have duplicate pictures in my camera roll and photo stream. If I turn off photo stream will I loose pictures in both areas?
If you turn off Photo Stream, all photos in Photo Stream only, will be removed from your device.

Why does photo stream on my i phone have more of my pictures than photo stream on my mac?
Log out of iCloud in the System/iCloud preference pane and disable Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane. Then log back in and re-enable, respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream on your Mac.

In the past I was using Photoshop 7 to make Web Photo Gallery. My friend could right click on the pictures from my website and save it in their computer.
Recently I have bought and registered your Lightroom 5 and have updated it to 5.6. But can not program it to create Photo Web Galleries that after uploading to my website would allow my friends to down load the pictures from the album to their computer. How could I do it? Please step by step. Thank you M. Mehdi AkhaveinAre you producing HTML galleries with Lightroom (not Flash galleries)?

My hard drive needed to be replaced on my iMac. When I try to move the photos from my portable hard drive back onto the Mac, they are small and can't be edited or made any larger. How can I fix them?

How can I remove the pictures in photo stream? I have already turn off my photostream at the settings but when i turn it on again, the pictures still come out?
Ok you can reset the stream from www.icloud.com
Goto www.icloud.com
Login with your iCould username and password.
and login
Then click on your name in the top right hand side of the screen next to sign out,
it opens a window Account details with Language, Time Zone, Advanced
Select Advanced - Then click Reset Photo Stream. and confirm, the stream will be reset and totally deleted
I still think you should be able to remove individual pictures though, a blured image etc is a problem -
Photo stream and camera roll...HELP!!
I realise to many that I will seem very stupid but the whole concept of iCloud and photo pushing is confusing me. Please can someone confirm/correct/answer/help me...?
I have an iPhone 4s and a windows PC
1. After installing iCloud on my iPhone and PC, any pictures I now take on my phone will be on the camera roll as usual and on the photo stream for 30 days/max 1000 pics
2. I can't push my previous camera roll photos to my PC via iCloud
3.I wanted to put some recent holiday pics on to my iPhone in their own folder. Photos were copied and pasted into the PC upload folder and then into photostream which i then copied and placed into the newly created holiday folder. However, these uploaded PC pics are on my camera roll aswell- now I have 3 copies of each photo on my phone!! Will all my uploaded photos go to camera roll aswell as photo stream?!- Can I stop this from happening again? Where is best to delete them from?!- surely if I delete from the camera roll (my preference) they will automatically be deleted from the new created folder too?
4. Is there a way of turning off photo stream folder and just turning it on as and when i want to sync or will that create/confuse the problem?
5.Lots of people have been mentioning iPhoto- what is this? Is it for MAC users only?
Thanks :/Read here:

My phone started acting up and I noticed my text messages were not being sent. So I turned my iphone off. My iphone 4s turned off properly but when I went to put it back the apple icon came on and then an image I have never seen before of a UBS pointiing towards the word itunes in a circle. And the phone no longer goes beyond this message. I try to turn it off and on again and same message over and over. If I hit the any button on the phone nothing happens. Does anyone know what this means or seen this itunes messaging ? meltdown? Please help.
Hello Raja,
Thank you so much for your response. I had these photos backed up on iCloud but, had I not, its good to have an alternate solution as the one you suggested. Actually, I went to the Apple store today and yes, you are absolutely correct Restoring in iTunes will result in permanent loss of photos unless backed up somewhere such as iCloud or other solution. Well, what they did was restore the phone in itunes ( I did not have iTunes downloaded to my computer which is why it did not work when I went to do it myself, I needed to go to the iTunes site and go to the download iTunes button because my windows based HP laptop does not come with itunes already downloaded). This retoration process took a while and I was forced to upgrade to the latest 7.1 iOS software which I was not too happy about -sometimes you like the way things work now :-) Anyhow, they said this restoration request happens as a result of a software update (which I was NOT in progress of an update or doing an update) or sometimes when you remove the power cable too quickly from the iphone (which I do not recall doing this either but...). Since I had backed up on iCloud all of the photos were downloaded back on my iphone 4s. Best of all was that my phone was back up and runnning and there was NO CHARGE at the apple store for this service of restoring my phone. Well, I just wanted to share the results and I appreciate all the responses and support I received. Thank you kindly. -
I am experiencing some major problems with my MacBook Pro. I have had some issues with it turning on/off at random times, but today, when starting, I get the grey start-up screen and a recovery bar. After filling in approx 1/4 of the way, the machine dies. After starting it in recovery mode, it will not allow me to download OS X Mavericks- it says the disk is locked. Any ideas? I do not have a back-up and do not want to erase everything before I have explored my options. Help?
try forcing internet recover, hold 3 keys - command, option, r - you should see a spinning globe
most people will tell you to do both pram and smc resets (google) and if you still have issues, either clean install (easy) or troubleshoot (hard) -
I forgot the passcode to turn off restrictions. I have restored my iPad back to the factory settings and then synced it with the latest backup. The restrictions are still on and it is asking for the passcode. Can someone tell me how to get that off.
The only option is to wipe the device clean and restore it to factory settings. Hope you have a backup.
Follow the instructions in iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 to restore the device to factory settings.
Once you have setup the device as a new one, you can then sync it back with your iTunes account and all your music, apps, contacts and any other content sync'ed with iTunes will be loaded on the device. Any content that is stored only on the device and not sync'ed with iTunes, like app logins or data, will be lost during this process. Be forewarned that this is a long process and can take a couple of hours or more to complete. This can be painful, but it is necessarily so to prevent users from working around the security settings. After the restore is complete, you can setup a new Restrictions passcode. Make a note of the passcode to avoid this situation in future.

I went in ti the apple store my phone wasn't working correctly. the guy said he had to reset and update phone. I asked about my pictures and he said if they were in photo stream i wouldnt loose them. they still havent appeared to my phone im worried are the pictures going to appear again.
Photos remain in icloud's stream servers for a max of 30 days. If they are older than that, then they are gone.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device. -
How to erase some of the pictures in photo stream
How to delete some of the pictures in photo stream?
You can delete photos from your photo stream the same way you delete other photos from your iOS device or Mac. Just select the photos you want to remove, then tap the trash icon or click Delete.
On your PC, select the photos you want to remove from your photo stream, right-click, then select delete.
When you delete a photo from My Photo Stream on one device, iCloud will automatically delete it from the My Photo Stream album or view on your other devices. -

Hay. i change the screen LCD in IPAD 2 3G but i don't know what happen. She was working and every thing it's ok. One time i turn off the ipad and turn on more time, i don't see good in LCD the brightness is to low and i can see any thing!! and i want to know why is happen
Assuming you mean that you performed the repair yourself, it would seem that you either obtained a defective screen or you did some sort of damage when you replaced the screen. You can try asking for assistance on ifixit.com, a site dedicate to those attempting their own repairs, or you can take the iPad to a shop and pay them to try to correct the problem for you. Apple will no longer touch your iPad now that you've attempted your own repairs.
