TS2446 i am tryingto download my old purchases and it still is saying apple id is locked due to security reasons
i just restored my ipod 4th gen to factory i tried to sign in with apple ID and they said its the wrong id and password so i reset pasword and tried to download old purchases with new password and it states that it is disabled why is this happening all the time

I am trying to downlaod music from itunes for the first time and get an error message iTunes couldn't download your purchase. You don't have write access for your iTunes Media folder or a folder within it. Change permissions in the finder and then choose store check for available downloads.
I have done all of this ... made sure that they are writeable and still having problems. Any suggestions would help. how do i download my old purchases? I have bought several movies and a bunch of law and orders that i never even downloaded once because i ran out of local space. how do i download what i have already purchased?
You cannot redownload movies.
If you have never downloaded the tv shows, then click Store>Check for Available downloads.
You may be able to find them under Purchased, under Quick Links, in the itunes store as well. -
Can I download my old purchases from a different country store.
I'm moving from the US to the UK. I want to know once I change stores and update my billing information would I be able to download my old purchases from the US store? I do have ITunes match if that helps.
No you won't, as well as being tied to the account, content is also tied to the country that it was downloaded in. So before you move here to the UK redownload any item that you might want and take a backup copy of them.
As far as I know you also won't be able to change countries whilst you have iTunes Match active -

I bought an album and it diddent download. And my dollar ammount was the same. So i downloaded it again, and then it took my money for two purchases and then still diddent give me the album. This was all done on my ipod touch 4th generation. I dont have an apple care program so they cant help me and i dont want to spend 20 dollars on that because
1. thats alot of money for one time help
2. Thats how much money i spent on the two albums

I try to download music I purchased and it won't download. It comes up and says "download error. Tap to retry." Every time I retry it does the same thing. Why is my phone doing this??

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

I purchased an album a while ago and just got a new ipod so i downloaded all my purchases, and it all downloaded, but it downloaded the wrong songs. It says on the title that it is the correct song, but the audio is a completely different album. any help?
If you have been using the mac.com Apple ID to make iTunes purchases recently, then there should be no issues continuing to use it with the new iPhone. I would abandon the new ID as you will never get Apple to merge the two IDs. I have had a mac.com ID for years and continue to use it with my iPhone 4S.

That is normal for purchasing apps for a device not previously associated with your Apple ID.

I woke up one morning and my i phone had a message for me: "your account is disabled due to security reasons". I follow the instructions to establish a new ID and password. It was confirmed on the i Phone, but when I try to download apps. or get updates it will not accept my ID/password which I have reset half a dozen times already.
On the flip side, I can log on my MacBook Pro without any problems. Same ID/password combo.
Technicians haven't been able to get this resolved. Any advice is highly appreciated.
