TS2795 When I set CALL FWDING "ON" and I set the phone number and I back to CALL FWDING, the option returns to "OFF" status, why this is happening ?

Can someone help me to activate the Call Forwarding option on IPhone 5, OS 6.01 ??
Currently I am trying:
* Settings -> Phone -> Call Forwarding -> "ON" -> SET THE PHONE NUMBER ->"Call Forwarding button"
But when the screen returns to Call forwarding, the option returns to "OFF" mode.
* I already try to call to *72 to "activate" the call forwarding option, just didn't work.
I don't know if I need to do an additional configuration, If someone has an idea, please let me know!!

Who is your carrier? Not all carriers support enabling and disabling call forwarding using the controls in Settings.

It sounds like your iCloud Apple ID has a phone number associated with it that you would like to update. If this is the case, after signing in to the linked website below, you will see a section on the left side of the screen labeled Phone Numbers. You can edit the phone number associated with that account from there.

Log in to your icloud account: www.icloud.com
you can track your phone in find my iphone. There is also an option to delete iPhone contents.
Please not that find my iPhone in icloud must be on in order to locate it in the map and also need to be connected to internet.

My husband and I both have iphone 4S's and for some reason he gets my text conversations w/ other people. We share the apple ID and I have my settings set to and from my phone # and email address. He is getting tired of being apart of text messages I am on. How do we remedy this?

Each of you need to have your own apple id's instead of sharing is the best way. But you can go to each phones settings, messages, send and recieve, and down to start new conversation from, and make sure each of you have your own email address with a check mark beside of it not the same address.

I recently replaced my lost iPhone but in the process, had to switch carriers and activate a new phone number. I backed the new phone up from iCloud which was still attached to the old number (for example, when I attempt to sync Keychains, the security code continues to be sent to the old number). I'm looking to update my iCloud account with the new phone number so I can sync my devices and any I might get in the future. Help! Please!

Pause between Phone Number and Extension

I have a new 8330 Smartphone. My carrier in Sprint. When I enter a phone number into the address book, insert a pause, and then type the extension, and then I save and call the number ....my phone pauses before the phone number and does not pause after dialing the phone number and then enter the extension. Has anyone experienced this problem and do you know a solution?

How are you entering the pause?
After you enter the phone number in the field, press the Menu key > Add Pause, then the extension.

This is a shipping report in header level we have the customer information with site address. The requirement is along with site address we need to show the phone number and Fax number .For this we need to write the formula column.Thes are the comes through HZ parties only. I have no idea how to achieve this.

Depends on what the receiver has set up on his or her device.
Also depends on the device. iPhone uses the number, iPad, iPod touch uses Email. But can be set up for phone number too if the person has an iPhone.

No setting would cause that. Try resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release).

When you said you have no fax machines on your line, that does include computers directly connected to the phone line?
The reason that I ask is a computer with a dial-up modem (a non broadband modem) that can connect to your phone line, can have software that makes the computer act as a fax machine.

Try to position your iphone that the screen is facing away from your skin.
Make sure that the back part of your phone will be the one that will contact your skin inside your pocket

They already have your number and/or email address and maybe have sold it several times already to others as well. They also use number generators - software that will automatically create them - some work and some don't, they don't care, they send out millions and a few will fall for it and send them money. The only way to "hide" would be to change both and your password, but then it would happen again at some point.
