The speed may have been ok at that time and is too inconsistent/too slow overall. interference may have proven to be more of an issue since as well. If using public DNS that will provide Intermittant results
I'm sure using a hotspot would be fine but it depends on your viewing habits. An HD movie is around 4-5GB. It would also be subject to speed. requirements so best to test to see how it compares.
You would have to check with your Carrier if hotspot it's enabled then just to into your settings and toggle it ON

Go to Image>Mode and make sure you color is RGB, not gray scale. Also, a preference reset might help: Ctrl/Cmd+Alt/Opt+Shift as you initiate Photoshop startup.

I have tried deleting the SC file, and made all changes suggested by iTunes web site and other suggestions. Anybody have any suggestions I may have missed?

Okay this is what fixed my problem. Some kind of error/glitch occured half-way through importing that third cd that prevented further imports from any other cd. Once I completely removed the half-imported cd album from my library I could further import cd's without any problems.

Nope, GPS is a Federal requirement for anything operating a cellular telephone signal. You don't ever plan to call 911 until you are in an emergency. I don't see that requirement changing any time soon.
If you are truly inconvenienced by the VZW network extender then perhaps you should disable you calling features in these areas and swap over to WiFi only. There are many services and apps out there that can route your phone services through internet service providers.

I just bought a Macbook Air almost a month now. When I bought it, the technician installed Microsoft Office 365 as they were having a promotion at the time. However after a week of using it, it started popping up a notice saying that it cannot verify Microsoft Office. I still managed to open the word document but as of today, it will not open. I took it to the Mac store last week, and they said that there was nothing wrong with it and they could not figure out any problem.
I don't know what to do and I am in desperate need of help. I cannot open my documents at all and I have my research paper that I need to finish writing. This is very disappointing and extremely stressful for me. If anyone has any suggestions of how this can be fixed, please let me know. I do not want to lose my hard work =(

Itunes 8 worked fine the first time, now it keeps trying to reinstall.

So I downloaded itunes 8 the first day it became available with no problems. I opened it to make sure all my music was there, and turned on Genius then closed it. The next day when I go to open itunes, it tries to install again and it gave me an error message saying there was a fatal error with the shortcut or something like that. I've tried to download again and I get the same message. I also tried to uninstall and I get the same error message. I don't know what to do. I've tried every solution to fix the problem posted on this site with no luck. I'm banging my head against the freakin desk. Can anyone help me, if it helps I have vista and it gives me error 2330 saying windows encountered an error while installing the package, then it tells me there is a fatal error with the shortcut.

I had a similar problem with 8.0 a few days after upgrading from 7.7 to 8.0. I received a message as the following:
'3DE45K...........12KD' is not a short filename'.
I finally got rid of this by detaching my USB flash drive, which contained foler name mentioned in the error message.
If you are getting a specific file/folder name, I would suggest finding out where it is. You should get some idea how to attack it.
To get a prior version of go th the following URL:

and look on the right side for release you want.
Uninstall 8.0 and install your desired release of iTunes.
To get the library for a prior release (iTunes won't work with a library created by a newer release), go to the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder. Copy the file the appropriate file and rename the duplicate file to "iTunes Library.itl". Place it in the "iTunes" folder, replacing the file that was created for iTunes 8.0.
At this point, you should be good to go. the number 8 may be lucky for the Chinese but it is a disaster for iTunes.

I bought my dad a new ipod nano and a jbl wireless speaker from the same apple store. Everything worked perfectly with the bluetooth connectivity the first day. Then my dad accidentally hit the "forget this device" button when he was trying to turn the bluetooth off. Now the nano either does not recognize the device or it will recognize the device but not connect. I would appreciate any advice.

Does it charge on a computer? Does it appear in iTunes?

Hi I upgraded to 14.1, Avg safe search was disabled. Skype click to call as well but I do not use that function any way, a Video to mp program,again I do not use it..
When I installed it I rebooted my computer, then ran a AVG update,
however to Firefox I do not like running with out the SAFE search, I do have other save guards, but unless Firefox is made to run with the AVG safe search I would advise any one that has important documents on that computer to go to another browser.

It seems as though though it may be a connection issue, possibly hardware or adapter. Make certain the connections are TIGHT.
For software you may try a smc reset:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
Try a pram reset:
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on your Mac.
Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears. Continue holding the keys down until your Mac restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
If no joy you can take it in to an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation make an appointment first.
