TS3274 Every time I charge ipadmini it turns off and I have to force it to turn on.it gets stuck on the apple logo. I have restored 2 times already but nothing seems to work.
my ipadmini has been having a problem whenever I charge it through the mains. I took it to an authorised reseller and they said it could be an hardware issue.
After two days I went to check on it and it was able to connect to iTunes and I restored. But this has not fixed the issue. Every time I charge it, it goes off and to put it back on it would not respond unless I have my finger on home button for a long time. I have changed my USB port and even the adopter.
I have erased all data and reset it,but same problem again.
Does someone have a clue on what I should do. Because this is getting ridiculous.
Please help me.
The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...
If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first...

When I try to update my iPad 3 4g to iOS 5.1.1, i keep getting error trying to find software update, I've tried several things already, but nothing seems to work.
Perhaps, iTunes can't communicate with the Apple uodate servers. Temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software would help. Take a look at this.

My MacBook Pro fell and now when I turn it on its stuck at the apple logo screen with a loading circle underneath it. What can I do to get passed this?
Sounds like something internal was damaged in the fall, probably the disk drive. Take to Apple and ask them to fix it.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod Touch turns on, then gets stuck at the boot logo?
Ok, so i had my iPod Touch 4G since June of 2011. It is currently running iOS 5 and I have never had a problem. I got on the bus this afternoon after school and I tried to turn it on. It would boot, then get stuck at the Apple boot logo. This iPod has never taken damage by anything. If the iPod would be broken (physically), so would my phone, since they are in the exact same spot. I have plugged it into my iHome to charge it, but this morning, the battery was 94%. It was off all day, so the battery wouldn't be dead. Please help, as I had this iPod for the longest time.
P.S. I also tried Lock+Home to reset, and iTunes will not read it.Skunkman wrote:

If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.

No the mac had come with Leopard. Then I bought the snow leopard DVD and did a clean install of snow leopard.
If you just stuck the disk into the Leopard Mac and run the upgrader, you didn't do a "fresh install" you basically upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6 leaving all the programs and files intact.
The white Snow Leopard disk was the right one for that machine as it had Leopard (10.5) on it previously.
So you already have Snow Leopard installed, if you want to erase the entire drive (along with all your programs, files and OS X) and want to install Snow Leopard again, you hold the c or option/alt key down and boot the machine off the disk. Then use Disk Utiltiy to erase the entire drive, then quit and install Snow Leopard.
How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
Once Snow Leopard is installed you log in and use Apple Menu > Software Update until clear to get to 10.6.8 and fix security issues.
Now I can't get it to do the install again.
To install Windows into BootCamp, you read and run the BootCamp Assistant located in the Applications > Utiltiies folder
It's important to change the drive format from FAT32 to NTFS before installing Windows using the Windows disk.
Windows is rather complicated to install, if you boot to a blinking line with "press any key to continue" you need to press and hold the power button down and reboot holding the Option/Alt key down to get back into OS X.

If your Windows programs are not going to be as CPU/GPU demanding, you may rather prefer to use a virtual machine instead
