TS3304 Problem in Downloading Profile needed in some cases to access the Internet through Wifi

I have an Iphone 4 and Ipad 3. I access the Internet in my hostel with the wifi router. When connected iphone with wifi , It automatically downloads profile needed to run internet. but in case of Ipad 3 , it does not and i am unable to access internet. So Please give me solutions so that i can Access net on my Ipad 3

I would love to have the liberty to block certain applications of my choice from accessing the internet
For example i dont want a game application like subway surf telling me that there is a new shirt my player can wear.... i am happy with the basic application that was there when ever it was downloaded...
The ability for users to restrict an app's ability to access the Internet is a decision left to the app's developer. Presumably, if an app requires an Internet connection to function that choice would not be a logical one to implement. On the other hand if the app developer decides an Internet connection is optional, the choice is easily implemented in Settings.
In the case of free games such as Subway Surfers, nearly all of them rely upon in-app purchases to generate the revenue required for their development and support. In such cases the developer will not be interested in limiting that revenue source. Users with no money to spend do not comprise a successful business plan.

Uninstall the Inbox Toolbar, following steps here:

Then retry opening Firefox.
You can also try opening Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] (use Continue in Safe Mode first).
If that works, reopen Firefox Safe Mode, but use the dialog option to '''Restore default search engines''' as shown at https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode#Safe_Mode_window and press the '''Make changes and restart''' button.

Problems accessing the internet via wifi

I'm not able to access internet via wifi but am connected to my wifi network.
No problems when using 3G
I guess it is a dns problem?
when i check the wifi settings IP address and subnet mask
have details but is blank for router, dns and search domains.
What details should I input there?
Would it mess anything up if I used the same settings that my iphone uses?
I know wifi is ok because I can download books to my ipad with stanza using wifi.
Sorry don't know too much about this sort of thing

Yes, this would be determined by the size of the IP pool allocated on your time capsule router. Ordinarily this should be large enough by default to accommodate the number of devices you have.

*First, please note that if you aren't really familiar with network setup you should probably give Apple support a call and they can walk you through this.* See: http://www.apple.com/support/expert/
You can access your Time Capsule router using the Airport Utility which is found in the Applications/Utilities folder on your Macbook Pro. If you use this utility you can see how your router is setup. Post what you see here, i.e., Network name, radio mode, channel, Security password protection (WPA2 personal is best), etc. Of course, don't post any passwords.
Don't forget to check that the IP Address selector in your iPad WiFi setting for your network (which can be DHCP, BootP or Static) is set to DHCP.
I will turn Time capsule off for a while to try.
At this point it might also be a good idea to also go to Settings > General > Reset on your iPad and select "Reset Network Settings".

You only have to clone your mac when using certain cable modem. You don't clone your mac when using dsl.

Since downloading Firefox 5 last week, we cannot access the internet. The message "server not found" pops up along with the statement "firefox can't find the server at (whatever webpage you enter). How can this problem be fixed..other browsers stink.

This problem can be solved in seconds with just 8 or 10 clicks of your mouse. As you are reading this you are already in Internet explorer. At the top left hand side of your screen you should see the below words.
File Edit View Favourites Tools Help
If you can't see the above words then right click on any blank area on the third bar from the top of your screen and click on menu bar
Now click on Tools then click on Internet Options. Then click on the Advanced tab at the top right hand side of that page. Now click on the Reset button near the bottom right hand side. Now close and then re-open your Internet explorer.

If you have access to wifi router you may check its log and see what does it say...
Try set the router for no hidden and no password wifi and try to connect. If you iPad can connect then add password to wifi settings on the router and try to connect again... etc...

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am having some difficulty accessing the internet with Firefox on one of my PC computers. I normally use Mozilla Firefox as my web browser and google is my homepage and gmail is my email system. The operating system is Windows 7. For over a year this system worked perfectly but a few days ago it stopped working. When I launch Firefox now I get the message that that website (www.google.com) is unavailable. In fact, I can’t access any website and I am blocked from the internet entirely within Firefox. My internet connection is fine because Internet Explorer works fine. I can access google and any other website within that web browser. I have investigated all the security issue I can manage and found no smoking gun. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox to no avail. Is Windows 7 compromising the effectiveness of Firefox? Any suggestions or other assistance you can offer would be appreciated.

Don't download MacKeeper. Users complain about this app and it damages OS X. Also, Mac OS X knows how to take care of itself, so you don't need any other cleaning application that may damage OS X. See > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3691

Currently I have had to often downloads and sift through all my files to find the ones I want to open into itunes, and it's irritating.

Media is only where the user puts it.
Installing iTunes does not and has never caused media to magically appear on the computer.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer (or backup of the old computer) to the new computer.

Problems after downloading the lastest version of iTunes for my iPod Touch. Now whenever I switch on my laptop and access the internet I get an error message. 2nd time this has happened and I'm fed up trying to fix it. Anybody having similar problems?

I've downloaded iTunes 10.5 onto my iPod Touch, no problems but I've now got a constant error message on my laptop everytime I switch it on and access the internet. The message is "The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll"
This is the 2nd time this has happened. Last time iTunes Support called and we ran through a load of checks to no avail. The only option was to delete iTunes completely off my laptop and go for a new download of it. You need to turn the services you want to sync (calendars, contacts etc) on on both devices from settings > iCloud.
