TS3899 I have just set up an email account on my ipod touch. Just received an email on my computer and the mail icon shows one new message. But when I click on mail icon it opens a page for New Account not an inbox??
Having just set up my Ipod Touch with my email account (pop3) the mail icon on it shows a 1 for new message. However when I click on the Mail icon it brings up a page for NEW ACCOUNT not any inbox. Can anyone help?
You might want to try removing they email account and setting it back up again

When i go on my phone it says i have 3 new messages but when i click on it i really dont. I turned off and turned my phone on 3 times and it still says i have 3 new messages how do i stop that. Without actually turning on the bager icon thing that pops up on the app.

It sounds like your notification for messages is showing that you have a few mesages but when you go into the app, there are no new messages. I would start by signing out of your Apple ID in Settings > Messages. Then close the running apps on the phone:

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone, sign back in, and try again:

I can't open mail on Hotmail from Firefox. I can from Safari. I can open the Hotmail account page and it is complete w/ my new messages, but when I go to open them I get this messeage..."Please refresh your browser window. I have an iPod touch 3rd generation with IOS 4.2.1 and the newest version of iTunes. However, when I press "check for updates" it says that IOS 4.2.1 is the current version. How do I update?
I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

When I try to load firefox it only shows in the bar at the bottom of the screen. I can highlight it but when I click on it, it just returns to the bar. Can't get it to maximize. Please help.
The "System Tray" is located at the very bottom right of your screen and is a list of most/all running applications that will show in this list.
For your SysFader issue, this "may" be the problem:
1 Find the "My Computer" desktop icon and right-click it. A pull-down menu will appear. Select "Properties."
2 Click on the "Advanced" tab. This will load a new page of options.
3 Select the "Visual Effects" tab at the top of the window and deselect "Animate Windows when minimizing and maximizing," "Fade or slide menus into view," "Fade or slide Tool Tips into view" and "Fade out Menu items after checking."
4 Click "OK." This will remove most if not all of the Sysfader effects, at the same time correcting related errors that used to come up during opening a new file or program. -
After waking from sleep, my iMac (Lion) is unresponsive. The mouse moves, but when I click things it won't open them.
This has happened EVERY time the iMac goes to sleep for the last few days.. the only way I have found to resolve the issue is to manually restart the computer each time via the button on the back of the iMac.
Any and all help is appreciated!
ThanksFWIW, I never sleep my machines or their HDs, just their displays and never have an issue waking up the displays, usually run 24/7. Give that a shot.

I have a problem with my 4s camera which has come up recently. Everytime I take a picture and look it up via the 'Photos' app, it shows as blank. But when I click on edit on the blank picture, it comes up and I am able to save it back on my photo album as a proper image. Besides, I have also experiences the camera working a bit wiered (slow and often blanks out the moment I am ready to take a photo). Any help on this pls?

There are a few things that are confusing in your question.
As far as I know, you dont have to install Time Machine on this OS as it is already installed for you. You only need to connect a hard drive to your computer via firewire or usb, click on the Time Machine icon, Open Time Machine Preference in the drop down menu and select a disk: your connected hard drive.
You can of course reformat this connected device, partition it into a few volumes to organise data if you so wish.
I find it strange that your mac's hard drive is divided into two volumes... perhaps this was created through bootcamp?
You can access the configuration of your hd through Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities.
Clicking on one of the icons on the right hand panel will bring the details of the contents of your hardDrive and volumes. From there you can decide to erase a partition, reformat etc....
If your hd contains more than one volume, and one of them is empty, you could decide to remove it. Back up all your important data before doing so.

I am using firefox on Windows 7 home premium platform today I updated my firefox to its latest version i.e. 3.6.12 first I uninstall the firefox but keeps my personal setting and then restart my system but when I click on firefox icon nothing happened in fact its exe was running in backend firefox version 3.5 is working fine on my system as I low grade myself to 3.5 again. Kindly help.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

With FireFox as my default browser, I create a shortcut on the desktop as per instructions in 'help' but when I click on the shortcut it opens in a browser which is not even running.

Make absolutely certain that FireFox is designated as your default browser.
Do this: Tools / Options / Advanced / Check Now / correct the setting
OR right click on any shortcut icon / Open With / Choose Default Program / select desired Browser / check Always... box / OK

First of all, I do not have an Apple anything. I just down loaded ITUNES onto my HP dekstop computer. It went in with no trouble. The items that you can purchase from iTunes in the form of apps are for either an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) or for Mac Computers.
The chances are the app you have downloaded is either written for an iPhone or iPad (iOS device -although even then there can be differences) or for a Mac computer (even then it may be OS version specific)
In a search for "Miss Kitty Slot" in iTunes I found this
It says it is an iPhone App.
