TS4006 Can I take advantage of this feature if I ALREADY lost my Mac? I did not activate the setting ahead of time.... because I hadn't planned on losing it yet.

I recently lost my MacBookPro along with the rest of the contents of my backpack. Left it in the back of a taxi..... Thing is, I wasn't planning on doing that and so I hadn't activated the necessary setting on my computer to utilize FindMyMac.
Is there any way I can still take advantage of this feature and find it?!?! Please help.

You don't mention which feature. I presume "Find My Mac". No, those have to be set up before losing the hardware. Contact the taxi company and the police.

HT201317 my photos on my iphone 5 used to automatically load onto my PC. I did not do the upgrade to my iphone because i don't like the new look. Could this be what is stopping the auto upload of the photos onto my photostream ?

Photos on my iphone 5 stopped automatically loading onto my PC. I have tried everything (i can think of) short of deleting the account because if you delete there is a warning..... all photos will be deleted..
So any thoughts ?? I have not updated to 7.0 but this auto upload photostream featured still worked well until the end of October.

You should still be able to manually manage the music on your iPhone within iTunes. Make sure that when your iPhone is plugged in, look in the Summary tab to see if “Manually manage music and videos” is enabled and you can even you turn off Automatically Sync when this iPhone is connected. Take a look at the first article below to give more information on that. As far as your other questions about calling someone, I have provided two options for you. Can iMovie take advantage of a 12 Core Mac?

We are planning on purchasing some Mac Pros before they are discontinued later this year.
We mainly use iMovie 06 but occasionally iMovie 11.
I have read on other Apple forms that most software cannot take advantage of the extra cores. Does anyone know with any degree of certainty if iMovie 06 can take advantage of this additional processing power.
We are trying to decide between 6 core or 12 core Mac Pros.

There is no chance at all that you can activate the iPad without the previous user's Apple ID and password. That is the feature of iOS 7 Activation Lock.
Every time I read one of these post, I can't help but think that the user asking about this (in this case - you) was duped into purchasing a stolen device. If the seller was legit, they would have erased the device completely before they sold it.

I'm not that familiar with how FaceTime works. I know how to set It up but I don't use it. I just know that you can't activate in the UAE. I believe that you can activate in any country that permits it's use. Whether you will need a new ID or not, I can't confirm.
You can Google this and get all sorts of articles on workarounds. Apparently if you set up a VPN you can use it in the UAE. Here is one article that I found.

I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). Why not just connect the PC directly to the TC by ethernet and copy the files over?
It is hugely faster and much less mucking around.
In windows load the airport utility for windows.. if you have not already as this will help you access the drive.
