TS4058 i  not  sure  how  to  work the  computer

I tried  to  sign  in  on  chatt  but  every  time  I do  it  keep  saying  I  am  signing  in the  wrong  [pass  word   ND  EMAIL  ADDRESS  NOT  SURE  HOW  TO  CHANGE  IT  CAN  YOU  HELP

Hi,
It would help to know which OS on your Mac you are running as this will tell  me which version of iChat you are using.
iChat can use AIM names
It can uses certain Apple IDs issued by Apple as Valid Screen Names if the password is kept to 16 characters or less as this is the AIM Server limit.
These are @mac.com name and @Me.com names.
@me.com names from iCloud will only work in iChat 6 and Messages (Lion and Mountain Lion)
iChat 4 and later iChat 5 had button to "Get an iChat Account"
Where the Button led you to depended on which Option you selected in the Drop down.
Soon after iChat 5 came out AIM moved their Login page so the link there did not work.
With MobileMe ending Apple closed the link to the @Mac.com (free) Registration page.
Recently (since June 30th and the end on MobileMe last paid for period) this page has also gone.

  • I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.

    Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
    I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
    I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
    Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
    (formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
    (after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
    I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!
    -Brenna
    The e-mail I would like the form sent to is:
    [email protected]
    Here is the the code for my form 'as is' :

    I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
    You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder.  Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
         <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
    The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
    I'm  assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code.  Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names.  It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

  • Math functions not sure how to work with them

    Im trying to work out the math functions into my program, but I'm not sure where is the mistake. This is what I have now:
    (a) y = ax^2 + bc + c
    (b) y = a*sin(x) + b*cos(x) + cx);Especially I'm not sure how to format the sin and cos functions
    Thanks !

    (a) y = ax^2 + bc + c
    (b) y = a*sin(x) + b*cos(x) + cx);
    Java != algebra.
    (a) says: Take the variable called 'ax', perform a bitwise XOR on its value with the number 2, add that result to the value of the variable 'bc', add that result to the variable 'c' and put the result in variable 'y'.
    (b) is trying to call sin() and cos() methods defined in the current class and add the to variable cx.
    In your other thread, you had variable names 'keyboard' and 'character'. Given that, why would you expect 'bc' to mean "b times c" rather than "variable named 'bc'"? If you want multiplication, you have to use the multiply operator, ***.
    If you want to call a method that's defined outside your current class, you have to use the class name or a reference to an object of that class. The methods sin and cos are defined in the Math class. I advise you to read their docs before using them.

    Hi ,
    Could you please tell me form where did you purchase the Student version of Acrobat ?Is it through Adobe or some outside vendor ?
    Is it the first time you are trying to access it ?
    If yes ,then you must have received your serial number along with your product .
    If not ,then how how did you manage to get your serial number and access Acrobat before ?

    If only the language is Hebrew, you should correct it in the Paragraph and Character Styles.
    But in such a case I would expect more problems.
    If you are a creative cloud subscriber you should additionally install the InDesign version, English with Hebrew support:
    Go to the preferences of you CC.app. It is found behind the Gear Symbols on the top right.
    When the preferences open, go to the Apps section.
    Change the App Language to English with Hebrew support.
    Now you can install it. It will install on the very same place where your InDesign program is found some additional plugins, which will give you access to Hebrew functionality, like RTL text. Otherwise you will inherit in the document (and where you copy and paste it from such a document into another one). But now you can change or repair problems.
    Now repeatstep 1 + 2, but you need not to install your own language again. InDesign will now, when started, run in the language of your OS (when you have it installed in that language) but with more functionality to handle problems with Hebrew documents.
    The same steps you would have to do with Arabic or Asian documents. These languages will also add more plugins. But keep it limitted to those language you need. I have installed it that way, because I get sometime documen where the text flows the wrong direction or the numbers come up in Farsi digit, not in Arabic digits. For such purposes I need versions in languages I don’t understand myself.

    Use the sim tool that came with your phone or a safety pin and just insert it into the hole at the side of the sim tray and push it in and then pull it out.  It is no more difficult than that and then just close it again.

    value of rideDistance is greater than 99
    In the first part of the second query, I am grouping the hits
    from the first query together by riderId and getting a count per
    rider
    *** THUS if there were five hits in the first query and the
    riderId were: 1, 5, 1, 1, 2
    then the count for riderId 1 would be 3, riderId 5 would be 1
    and riderId 2 would be 1
    Now based on the riderId, I need to query another table to
    pull the name that matches the riderId. But I'm not sure how to do
    this. I thought maybe I could put a second select inside the second
    query, but I think this has to go in a WHERE but I am not using a
    WHERE in the second query just a GROUP BY
    Can somebody give me some suggestions on what I might try.

    Life got in the way of me getting back to your answers
    sooner. Thanks for all the help. I actually tried using a Join
    first, but couldn't get the responses I wanted - I must have been
    making an error as this time through it worked.
    Now if I could ask for just a little more help. Current code
    is below.
    I'm taking my results and putting them into a pie chart.
    Currently I get the "centuryCountByRider" as the value for
    each pie slice (which is correct) and it shows the amount next to
    each pie slice. I would like for it to keep the
    "centuryCountByRider" as the amount (valueColumn) but show the name
    of the person.
    I realize I could put this in the popup box when you mouse
    over each pie slice, but I really want the name shown next to each
    slice. Also the exact name shown will be generated from a cfif -
    cfif show name is m - show middleName, f - firstName, n - nickName.

  • Not sure how to work this

    I have a problem that im not sure how to solve.
    Basically, i need to use a StringTokenizer to split up a list of names into individual strings and them put them into a collection of some sort.
    Then, I need to sort the strings into alphabetical order from A-Z so I can put them in a JList in order.
    I really dont know how to go about this.
    Reading the strings into the collection is fine but after that i dunno.
    I know that String has a method where you can extract an individual char so i thought maybe iterate through the collection and take out the first char...maybe somehow use it as a condition to check other strings or something i dunno.
    I dont really have a time limit on this as its just part of a week program im working on, but any ideas or suggestions might help.
    Thanks in advance guys.

    Which part are you stuck on? It was a little hard to tell. From what I read, it looks like you just don't know how to sort the Strings once you've put everything in the collection. You should be able to simple call:Collections.sort(yourStringCollection);To sort the list.

  • Replaced the hard on my Macbook and not sure how to install the Mac OS X . i HAVE BOTH DISK

    Hello I am not sure what to do!!!  Ireplaced hard drive on my Macbook. When I put disk one in do I use Disk utility . Help

    You need to provide more information such as:
    What operating system was installed on the computer when it was new?
    Do you have OS X installation discs for the computer?
    Was Lion or Mountain Lion pre-installed when the computer was new?
    What is the exact model you have?
    The process is generically:
    How to replace or upgrade a drive in a laptop
    Step One: Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
    Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
    If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    Step Two: Remove the old drive and install the new drive.  Place the old drive in an external USB enclosure.  You can buy one at OWC who is also a good vendor for drives.
    Step Three: Boot from the external drive.  Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager appears.  Select the icon for the external drive then click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Step Four: New Hard Drive Preparation
      1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
      2. After DU loads select your new hard drive (this is the entry with the
          mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of
          the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive
          is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  Otherwise, click on the
          Partition tab in the DU main window.
      3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from
          the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended
          (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to
          GUID  then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and
          wait until the process has completed.
      4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the
          drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main
          window.
      5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the
          Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to
          return to the Erase window.
      6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several
          hours depending upon the drive size.
    Step Five: Clone the old drive to the new drive
      1. Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
      2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
      3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
      4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the
          Destination entry field.
      5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the
          Source entry field.
      6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
    Destination means the new internal drive. Source means the old external drive.
    Step Six: Open the Startup Disk preferences and select the new internal volume.  Click on the Restart button.  You should boot from the new drive.  Eject the external drive and disconnect it from the computer.

  • I am getting an error report and not sure how to fix the script. Please help... 3

    So now Im getting a new error report. I named the instance of the button in the properties panel btn_ccbil.
    Here is the code I have now:
    import flash.net.URLRequest;
    var url:String = 'http://www.lexiefyfe.com/ccbill9001/index.htm';
    btn_ccbil.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onOrderClick);
    function onOrderClick():void
          var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest(url);
          try {
                navigateToURL(request, '_blank');
          } catch (e:Error) {
                trace('An error occurred');
    Here is the error report:
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 7 A type identifier is expected after the ':'.
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 9 The class or interface 'flash.net.URLRequest' could not be loaded.
    This is the original code for the billing from ccbill I am trying to get to work with flash:
    <A HREF="http://www.lexiefyfe.com/ccbill9001/index.htm"><img src="ccbutton.jpg"></A>
    Is this just something that flash can't do? If so will someone please let me know. I am running in circles at this point and very frustrated... I'm new to as3 but I thought it could work.
    Thank you to all for the help and consideration,
    Thomas

    You appear to be using AS3 code in an AS2 setting.  Go into your Publish Settings and change the actionscript version to AS3 in the Flash section.
    Other matters...
    You do not need to import the URLRequest class while coding in the Flash IDE.
    You need to put an argument in the function definition due to the listeners throwing one when it is triggered...
    function onOrderClick(evt:MouseEvent):void

  • I am getting an error report and not sure how to fix the script. Please help...

    I am using action script 3. I have html codes from ccbill that I am trying to make work with flash. Here is the script I am trying to use:
    import flash.net.URLRequest;
    var url:String = 'http://www.lexiefyfe.com/ccbill9001/index.htm';
    myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onOrderClick);
    function onOrderClick():void
          var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest(url);
          try {
                navigateToURL(request, '_blank');
          } catch (e:Error) {
                trace('An error occurred');
    Here is the code from ccbill:
    <A HREF="http://www.lexiefyfe.com/ccbill9001/index.htm"><img src="ccbutton.jpg"></A>
    This is the error report I am getting:
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 1 Statement must appear within on handler
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 3 Statement must appear within on handler
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 5 Statement must appear within on handler
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 7 A type identifier is expected after the ':'.
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 9 The class or interface 'flash.net.URLRequest' could not be loaded.
    Scene=photogallery, layer=buttons, frame=1, Line 7 Statement must appear within on handler
    If anyone can help me with this issue I would be most grateful.
    Thank you for any consideration,
    Thomas

    You have a mixture of things going on... AS3 code in an AS2 setting.  Those are all AS2 error messages, and they are indicating you have placed the code on the buttons.  To use that code, it must be placed on the timeline, and your Flash Publish Settings need to have AS3 specified instead of AS2.  AS3 does not allow code to be placed on objects like AS2 does.

  • Hi all, I'm new here and not sure how things work.

    I just wanted to know how do I install adope 10.1 on my iPad 4 for the use of ufilling. Your assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

    fanamotaung,
    As of today (August 10, 2014), the latest version of Adobe Reader is 11.3.2, which runs only on iOS 7.  10.1.0 is the very first version of Adobe Reader for iOS released back in October 2011.  It is rather obsolete and does not provide the support for form filling.
    If the operating system of your iPad 4 is iOS 5 or 6, you will get a dialog like this when you try to install Adobe Reader from the App Store.
    You can tap the Download button to install an older version of Adobe Reader for iOS.
    However, we'd highly recommend updating your operating system to the latest iOS 7.1.2 and installing the latest version of Adobe Reader (unless you have a reason why you do not want to update iOS).
    Once you install Adobe Reader for iOS, you can launch it and tap Help in the Reader home screen to see the in-app Handbook (Help documentation),  It has a lot of useful information to get you started on Adobe Reader for iOS.
    Please let us know if you have additional questions.
