Turnaround for having pop-up lov with redirect

Hi to all,
is there a way to modified somewhere pop-up lov and adding a redirect to it?
Maybe with some javascript?
Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

Hi Marcello
"onfocus" is working for simple PopUp LOVs.
I use the following for submitting Popup LOVs:
HTML Form Element Attributes: onfocus=javascript:doSubmit("REQUESTX")
Thats no redirect, but you may use a simple branch for same effect or another javascript-command.
This works with 2.2.1 only for PopUp LOVs, not for PopUp Key LOVs!

again i can't find any turnaround for having a pop up, working with the technique I mentioned.
Did anybody know a turnaround / can point to a good link?
I'm very frustrated because with select list based on query works without problem... (but using this object is not the case such the user have to insert new value as well directly from the tabulare form).

Specify image for a pop-up LOV in a tabular form?

Hi,
I am using a tabular form for users to edit data. One of the fields has too many options to use a select list, so I have to use a pop-up lov (query based)... grrrr
The lov shows up in my form as [Field value]List
I would like to remove the text "List" and put a small icon there. Where can I specify the image source?

Strange Issue with Pop-up LOV with key value return

Hi,
I have a region, containing several LoV items. One of the items is of type PoP-up LoV with return key value.
Now when i run this page, i get page cannot be found error. But, If i a change the item type to select list with submit ( and not pop up lov with return key), I am able to run the page. It does not give me page cannot be found error.
Please suggest some pointers as to why I am running into this issue when item type is pop-up lov with return key value.

what version of apex are you using? Can you recreate the problem on apex.oracle.com?

Gui for html pop up window with word editor

I have to create iView with SAP transaction. But when iView is launch, and I try tu start my program in this case. This program create word file and open it, and when it happened the error is: Error while creating OLE object! This isn't happened in GUI for Windows, and it works fine. Select lists empty or POPup LOV needed with redirect

Hi all,
I have a form where i need 6 select lists with redirect or 6 POPup LOV with redirects.
These select lists are separated in three groups
like this
group 1
departments select list with redirect
employees popup lov (query based on the value of department)
group2
Order select list with redirect
OrderItem popup lov but needs a redirect here for employees (query based on the value of countries)
employees popup lov (query based on the value of department)
group 3
some status select list with redirect
When I choose the first select list the popup LOV is populated with good values
when i select a value from the second select list the value in the first list disappears, including the value of the first popup lov. etc.
How is it possible to keep the values stored in the first selects list when selecting some value of the second list.
How is is possible to make a popup lov with redirect so that the values are in session
and can be used in another popup lov?
Is someone there who have experiences with this issue?

The query is fine and works properly.
But when i try to open the POP-UP window, instead of displaying the List of values it gives a message "Internal Server Error" .
The error on the error log at the server is as belows:

When I remove any 3 'AND' conditions from the where clause it works properly.
I hope its with the size of the LOV query.
is there aany way to overcome it.

Ameya - That is correct. You may have to call a function from within the query to shorten it. The function can refer to the page items using v('ITEM') notation. In APEX 2.2, the popup LOV implementation has been improved somewhat so that this kind of thing should not occur.

I am using 2 popup in a view.same popup's having same buttons 'Yes', 'No'.when i use 1st one i have to create an action for that Yes button where i put my code for that particular Action.
But when i used 2nd one the action define for that is not acceptable with differ name.it takes only standard one.
Now my Query is : How to use same actions for differ pop-up buttons with in a similar view?Where i put my code.

Hi,
Take one integer value attribute in the context of view
when you r performing action on POP1 set it's value to 1
when you r performing action on POP2 set it's value to 2
create one method which receives integer argument, say diaplay(int a)
In the action call display(wdContext.currentContextElement().get<intvariable>()) by passing the value in the context attribute
in display() method, Check the value of integer variable..
if it is 1 then perform action related to POP1
if it is 2 then perform action related to POP2

Hi ,
u can use the method SUBSCRIBE_TO_BUTTON_EVENT of the IF_WD_WINDOW interface ... to handle the event fired by the popup .....used this method after creating the popup window ...

I would like to use the 'HTMLDB_ITEM' item to generate a textfield with a link to a Pop-Up LOV in an Apex report. Anyone ever tried that before? Thanks.

OUtlook was already set as the mail client for FF, and is my operating system (XP)'s default mail programme. therefore problem not solved at all. what I get whenever I follow a link in a webpage to send an e-mail is a little pop up window asking me to sign in to gmail or open an account. any other suggestions?

At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .
In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer
Any help is welcome , English is my learned language , you may notice this , so I'm not that quick with the respond

Genieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.
