Two query windows open after attaching DB to instance.

For training purpose, I detached a DB from a Microsoft SQL server 2012 instance and attached it to the same instance. Now, when running SELECT TOP statements on my tables two query windows open (see link).

When running SP_WHO myDB.--is not a valid login or you do not have permission.
Could you please advise me?

Downgraded, created another instance, now two rogue windows open automatically in the new instance!!

So I need to open another instance of Firefox so I can log onto other email accounts simultaneously with the first browser instance. I followed the directions and using profile creator, made another profile, and the sync worked (mostly).
However, no matter what option I choose under:
Options -> General -> Startup
I get two ADDITIONAL tabs!!
First one says
"Download Firefox - Free Web Browser
Second one says
"PROFILE.COM"
What gives???

If you downgraded Firefox you are now on an unsupported version so please upgrade again and then we can try to help you.
Ther are other alternative methods but the easiest method of logging in to more than one email acount is to open additional windows for the other accounts as ''Private Browsing'' windows e.g. use keyboard shortcut Sift+Ctrl+P

It may also be worth noting that Fx29 now respects the setting to not upgrade until you agree. Firefox 28 upgraded regardless of the setting if you used the ''about'' dialogue to check the version.

Having multiple query windows open at once.

I wasn't sure how to phrase it so after some digging I'm resorting to asking on here.
I've been working out of the 'Joes2Pros' series and I work within SMMS with SQL standard installed locally for playing.
Most of the time I like to have multiple query windows open to save queries to reference later just for examples.
My question is that is there a way to ensure a query window is not using any databases so that when I run the lab setup scripts for Joes2Pros I don't encounter any errors without having to close my other query windows?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You can accomplish this multiple ways:
1. Have your windows open with the database context set to master (select master DB in the dropdown on the toolbar)
2. "USE master; go" statement as the first line in all your query windows
3. Before you run your setup scripts, issue a kill command to terminate all other query window sessions (this will still keep the query windows open but they won't be connected to any database)

Erec - When an External window opens after click of a button

We are using an Standard Webdynpro Erec Appln.
When an External window opens after click of a button the smart form embedded in that windows view is not appearing instead and small X mark (in Red) is appearing with fully plain background
It is happening only for my system, others are able to view it properly...
I have cleared the cache, restarted the system and also re-installed the Adobe Reader too..
But still the problem persists.. Let me know what can be done in this case...

The service that you are trying to use requires integration of adobe with in browser(IE). Check the option [Display PDF in browser |http://lh4.ggpht.com/_E1SpYl0ZbfE/SlI0rfQAxeI/AAAAAAAAAh4/fC9alkf1M78/Adobe_Setting.gif]in Adobe Reader preferences.
If it still doesn't show the PDF, try to reset the browser setting to Medium and re-open.

Yes, I have near-perfect hearing too (for scope, squeaky brakes hurt my ears) I come from many conversations on many phones and types and first off, CDMA technology is great for coverage, terrible for voice quality. HD Voice in Europe made for some of the best phone conversations I've ever had.
Back on track, feedback is most noticable (similar to the landline phone) when using the iPhone without a headset, but for me it's not an absolute criticality mainly because I use VoIP apps alot, so maybe it has desensitized me some over the past year.
But whenever I'm on a call, and the other person has me on speakerphone, I have alot of trouble talking because of the feedback loop caused. So the less of my voice I hear the better I can talk.
Have you tried a bluetooth headset yet?

Did you move/copy any plugins from an earlier version of photoshop into your present version?
Did you point the Photoshop (Edit)>Preferences>Plug-ins>Additional Plugins Folder to an earlier version of photoshop?

Two different windows opening

Just got new MacPro with Snow Leopard.
I set up my three Exchange e-mail accounts without problem. However, when I open the app, two different windows for the app -- same info on each -- open. Everything working fine, though.
Any thoughts on why this may be happening?

generally, on application start Mail will display the same windows that were open when you last quit Mail. does this not happen? if it doesn't happen I would think your Mail preferences are likely corrupt. quit Mail and delete (or move to the desktop) the file ~/library/preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. ~ means your home directory. you can get to it by clicking on the house icon in the sidebar of any finder window or by going to /users/username.
then start Mail. you'll have to recreate all your email accounts so make sure you know all their settings. once recreated they will recognize their existing mailboxes. see if Mail behaves after that.

When I have two browser windows open, the first with multiple tabs the second a window opened from a link (so just one tab), and close the second window, I receive the Quit Firefox prompt, "do you want to save tabs...?"

This was happening with FF 3 before upgrading to 4, and was not happening with FF4.0 until the 4.0.1 update was applied, the first time it ran. Same issue on another computer running FF3, so may be a extension related problem.
If I have three windows open and close the third, I do Not get this. Only when two are opened and one is closed. I could have three, close one, then the second and get the prompt.

Does that 2nd window have a '''Close Window''' hyperlink on that page and you are using the X in the upper right corner of that 2nd window to close it?

I cannot have two app windows open on my late 2011 MacBook Pro.

Say I have Pages open and I need to go to Safari for some reasearch. If I click on Safari, the Pages window will just disappear and then the Safari window will open. To make sure that this was just a settings issue, I logged out of my personal account and then logged in on the guest account. When I tried to have two windows open, there was no problem. I just need to know where I can find this setting on my computer because it's a very annoying problem. I can't even create another desktop and open another window there because it would still disappear. The perplexing thing is that it happened out of the blue. One day I could, the next day I couldn't. Somebody please help, Apple won't float me on this one (my tech-support expired).
If it helps, it has an Intel Core i5 with 2.4 GHz and 4GBs of RAM. I bought it refurbished from Apple on June 14 of 2011.

Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

Why do two firefox windows open when I try to open just one?

Do you actually mean two separate windows or two tabs in the same window?
You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

Close Window.Open after InfoPath 2013 submit form

I've made an InfoPath 2013 'new' form in SharePoint 2013, but when the form is committed, it should close. So I've made a button on the form to submit it. In the rules in InfoPath, I said that it should close after submitting.
I open this form from another internal application as a window.open() javascript. In IE, it opens the form, when I submit, it stays open and the SharePoint list where the data is added to is opened too. However, in Chrome, it opens
the list in the same window after submitting, which is already slightly better.
My InfoPath rule when I submit:
So the idea is that the internal application opens the form thru a link, user fills in the form, the form submits to the list and every window closes, so the user can continue in the application, without seeing anything the SharePoint is doing in the background.
Hope any1 can help me solve this issue.

Thanks for the reaction. I've just checked these links:
The first one: I don't have any rules set to change the view of the list, so this isn't the case.
The second: As you already see in the screenshot, I've set the submit to the right action.
So, I guess neither of them are a solution to my problem, but thanks already for answering!

DfMagicStage.nib window opens after upgrading to iLife 08

After upgrading from iLife 06 to iLife 08, every time I boot my Mac Pro a window opens named DfMagicStage.nib. This DfMagicStage.nib window contains the following four files: classes.nib, data.dependency, info.nib, keyedobjects.nib.
I opened up these files in TextEdit and the one thing they appear to have in common is Garage Band references.
Does anyone know what is causing this to happen? I have searched Apple's Support site and these discussion forums, and Google, but have not had any luck figuring this out.

Two Dreamweaver Windows Open

Is the a way to get 2 Dreamweaver windows open at the same?
It's kind of annoying to keep having to use the tabs to switch
files. One Dreamweaver window open on each monitor would be really
nice.

say that you want to see two pages in two monitors.
But the question you are asking is not really very clear.
Why are you asking for two Dreamweaver programs (such as DW 8
and legacy version like DW MX 2004) to run at the same time and
compare. It doesn't make any sense to me. I am not sure what you
are trying to accomplish this task and for the specific reason?
I am rather perplexed with your situation.

Applet window opening in OM in remote instance instead of published HTML UI

Need some help...
My model has been built in UAT instance using a BOM from UAT, I built, published and tested in this instance with no issues. Then I created the full BOM in the live environment. Then I switched my BOM source to the live environment using the many steps in order to do this. After completing these steps I published the model to the live environment selecting the mode as Production and selecting the live environment name as the target instance. My issue is when I enter a sales order line with the model on it in live and select Configurator the Applet window opens instead of the expected user interface that I created in UAT instance!!!!
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks Pankaj for replying, I checked the instance where I have been publishing and testing along the build phase before changing the BOM source pointer and the profile option here is set to Yes.
However I changed the profile option setting to try it, as you suggested and it doesn't solve my problem, it now opens a different type of form where its asking me to enter every option I need below the model BOM using a list of values on every line!
