  • Org model by State & Zip code - ORGMAN_7 - set default if no entry

Orgman_7 10000164 works well for us.  But if no country, state, zip code is found it errors as no org object is found.
How can I set a default org if no country state zip is found?
in CRMC_ORGPROF I set 10000164 as the org model determination rule, then I tried to create a responsibilitiy rule based on document type and added the document type as an attribute in the org model but did not work.
    Thanks,
    Glenn

    Hi Ashish,
In PPOMA_CRM for the organizational elements that represent our sales offices we maintain the Country, State, & Postal Codes (some have hundreds of entries as some states have multiple sales offices in territory, but a single sales office controls a single postal code).
A new customer calls our ICWC and we create a new BP, using ORGMAN_7 works well when the state & zip code exist as an attribute.  It finds that sales office and sales org it is assigned to.
If no entry is found, then the ICWC user gets numerous error messages all related to no organization being found.  If an order is created it fails to pass to R/3 until we correct the document.  Usually done in the GUI as there is no place in the ICWC to update the sales org.
Basically looking to have a dummy office get found if no entry is found in ORGMAN_7.  This would allow the order to pass to R/3 and then we could more easily work entries that his the dummy office (update PPOMA_CRM when a bad zip or state combo is entered.)  Sometimes is a typo on the user in creating the BP record.
    Thanks,
    Glenn

  • City, State Zip-code line...

    Hi...
New here... Version 8.2.3 running in SAP.
Want to format a single address line from 4 individual fields... City,  State Zip-code
Want the City, seperated from the State by a comma and 1 space.... and State seperated from the Zip-code by 1 space.
    Examples...
    Boston, MA 07884
    Fountain Valley, CA 76877
How to do this in the form Layout?
In the Object Layout tab... I set the fields to "Expand to fit" in the width direction... but the City overlays the State...
I do not want... Boston,                                     MA 07884 to accomodate longer City names.
For now... I format the single address line in the Interface ABAP code.
    Thanks,
    Dave T...

    Hi DaveT,
For starters you do not need to set the binding to None (Object > Binding palette). I had this in the example, because originally I didn't want the field to take part in the import XML.
When dealing with data, more often than not you really do want the objects set with a binding.
Using $record are you accessing the imported XML or a data connection? If so I would set up the data connection first and then bind the appropriate fields to that data connection.
The XFA Specification may help: http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/xml/index_arch.html.
    Hope that helps,
    Niall

    Hi,

I am able to connect successfully to the Data Source and run a query against the database using the NQCMD command line tool so believe I have configured the DataDirect 7.0.1 drivers correctly, also I am able to view the Table Data in the RPD Physical Layer in the BI Administration Tool. So don't understand why I am getting this error.
I have also activated the nquery.log but that doesn't really give me any further information.

And also provide any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this issue further as I am now completely out of ideas of what to do next having tried numerous things i.e. setting  IDENTIFIER_QUOTE_CHAR = '' in DBFeatures.INI which I found in similar posts on the subject all to no avail
    Regards,

    Hi Rajagopal,
Thanks for your reply after doing some further investigations this morning I found and corrected the problem...
The DataDirect Driver does not like double quotes in the query for some reason, testing  using the BI Answers generated SQL with the nqcmd tool below...
With double quotes “” it fails immediately
    Give SQL Statement: select T18706."Id" as c1, T18706."UserName" as c2 from "ETMS_Users" T18706 where ( T18706."UserName" = 'trowe' )
    select T18706."Id" as c1, T18706."UserName" as c2 from "ETMS_Users" T18706 where ( T18706."UserName" = 'trowe' )
[102][State: S1000] [DataDirect][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver][Microsoft SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near 'Id'.
    Statement execute failed
With double quotes removed for just the columns I now get the Error near ‘ETMS_Users’ which still had the double quotes
    Give SQL Statement: select T18706.Id as c1, T18706.UserName as c2 from "ETMS_Users" T18706 where ( T18706.UserName = 'trowe' )
    select T18706.Id as c1, T18706.UserName as c2 from "ETMS_Users" T18706 where ( T18706.UserName = 'trowe' )
    [102][State: S1000] [DataDirect][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver][Microsoft SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near 'ETMS_Users'.
    Statement execute failed
With all double quotes removed it works !
    Give SQL Statement: select T18706.Id as c1, T18706.UserName as c2 from ETMS_Users T18706 where ( T18706.UserName = 'trowe' )
    select T18706.Id as c1, T18706.UserName as c2 from ETMS_Users T18706 where ( T18706.UserName = 'trowe' )
    c1           c2
    42499        trowe
    Row count: 1
    Give SQL Statement:
The solution to fix the problem is...
In the BI Admin Tool Physical Layer Database, Properties Features tab is to delete the double quote in the Value column for IDENTIFIER_QUOTE_CHAR, setting this in the DBFeatures.INI file does not resolve the problem possibly it did in earlier versions of the product.

  • ORA-03120 :two-task conversion routine:integer overflow Vendor code 3120

    Hi,
I got below mentioned error message, while i run the procedure in sql developer
    ORA-03120 :two-task conversion routine:integer overflow Vendor code 3120

What version of the database are you on? 9.2.0.8 for a guess?
    >
ORA-03120 is associated with bug 5671074 on Oracle Enterprise Edition; Version 9.2.0.8, occurring on any platform:
After applying the 9.2.0.8 patchset, compilation of functions and/or materialized view refreshes that reference remote databases via database links start failing with:
ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object OMS.PREMISE@JEAUSER_OMPR_L.WORLD
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-03120: two-task conversion routine: integer overflow
    ORA-02063: preceding line from JEAUSER_OMPR_L
Bug 5671074 "ORA-4052/ORA-3106 on Create / Refresh of Materialized View", can cause this problem. Contrary to the bug abstract and description, this bug does not just apply to materialized view creation and refresh. It can occur for any PL/SQL that references a remote object via database link where the 'Endianness' of the two platforms differs. If one platform is 'Big-Endian', and another platform is 'Little-Endian', then this bug can be triggered between them. A list of the endianness of different platforms can be obtained from the following query (note that the v$transportable_platform view is only available in 10.1 and above):
To resolve ORA-03120, this solution is given:
To implement the solution, it will be necessary to apply the one-off patch for Bug 5671074 to the 9.2.0.8 database. One-off patches to 9.2.0.8 for most platforms are already available for download on MOSC. Bug 5671074 to the 9.2.0.8 database. • Order type for conversion of planned order

    Hi gurus,
I have configured 6 different order types for PPPI and not maintained any default order type for conversion of planned order into process order. But when I am trying to convert planned order into process order by branching out from MD04 to COR7 via the popup window, default order type PI01 gets selected which  cannot be changed. However, if I am converting the planned order into process order directly through COR7, then choice of order type is available.
Could you please tell me how to ensure choice of order type while branching from MD04 to COR7?
    Regards,
    Abhik

    Hi Datta
The order type is selected as below
First it will look for any scheduling profile is maintained. If so it will select default from the profile.
Next if the profile is not there it will look for any scheduler is assigned in material master. Through the scheduler it will select the profile and default order order type.
Next it will look in plant parameter. With conversion from plan order to prod order  order type
Next it will look in MRP group conversion order type,  if you have mainted it in Material master.
This is the sequence. Please check have to maintained any of these.
    Hope this is clear

  • Ref Code S0a00

WTTW channels have been "available shortly:" for two days with Ref Code S0a00. What does this mean?

"One Moment Please, Available Shortly, Ref code S0a00" and similar messages are generated by the cable box when the signal for the channel you are trying to watch is not usable. This might be because of a problem at Comcast (check https://customer.xfinity.com/Secure/MyServices/) or a bad box, but is most likely due to a poor connection between the box and Comcast's network.
Troubleshoot by checking all connectors and looking for damaged coax cable. Running the cable through a surge protector, a defective splitter, or too many splitters can cause signal problems as well. You might also try unplugging the cable box/DVR/digital adapter power cord for a minute or so.
If you can't find the problem, call them at the phone number on your bill or 1-800-Comcast and ask them to check the account setup and send a refresh signal to the box. If they can't fix the problem during the phone call, insist that they send a tech out to identify the cause and correct it.
If the tech finds bad coax, splitters, amplifiers, or connections in your home (even if Comcast originally supplied them) you'll probably have to pay for the visit unless you have their Service Protection Plan (http://www.xfinity.com/spp/, about $5/mo). If the trouble is due to a faulty Comcast cable box/DVR/digital adapter or anything outside your home, you shouldn't be charged.
For additional information please see Pixelation, video and audio dropouts, One Moment Please S0a00 messages.

    Thanks for Replying.
I am trying to build a cursor to fetch the records from the table. Table structure is something like this.
    reportid VARCHAR2(10) NOT NULL,
    distmgrid NUMBER DEFAULT 0,
    salesrepid NUMBER DEFAULT 0,
    distmgrfname VARCHAR2(40 CHAR) DEFAULT 'rfname',
    distmgrlname VARCHAR2(40 CHAR) DEFAULT 'rlname',
    salesrepfname VARCHAR2(40 CHAR) DEFAULT 'afname',
    salesreplname VARCHAR2(40 CHAR) DEFAULT 'aname',
    issalesrepselected CHAR(1 CHAR) DEFAULT 'Y',
    oppstatus VARCHAR2(40 CHAR) DEFAULT 'oppstatus',
    isoppstatusselected CHAR(1 CHAR) DEFAULT 'Y',
    oppcount NUMBER DEFAULT 0,
    oppamount NUMBER DEFAULT 0,
    oppquote NUMBER DEFAULT 0,
    Attribute1 VARCHAR2(10 CHAR),
    Attribute2 VARCHAR2(15 CHAR),
    Attribute3 NUMBER,
    Attribute4 NUMBER
But from the above table, I am trying to build a report for which I need a cursor which I listed in the proc. Is it not possible to build a cursor within a cursor?
Yes each individual cursor return only one row.

    Hello,
I think the following statement is causing problem.
    P_OTF[] = P_JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-OTFDATA.
    either give:
    P_OTF[] = P_JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-OTFDATA[].
    or
directly pass P_JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-OTFDATA into FM parameter.
This is because you are filling only header into P_OTF and NOT the Contents of internal table by the statement
    P_OTF[] = P_JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-OTFDATA.
let me know whether it works.

  • Condition type currency conversion during PO

    Dear Friends,
In the PO, the vendor is from Japan, so the document currency is in Japan. But the freight condition currency is in MYR which we dont want to convert into JPY. Here the system converts all the condition type currencies into document corrency i.e. JPY in this case. After Goods Receipt, when I see the FI document in MIGO T-Code, all the posting comes in JPY and when i change the postings into local currency i.e. into MYR, there is a difference of RM0.02(2 sens) in the posting. As the freight condition value is in MYR, we dont want system to change it to JPY as freight charge not relevant for PO printout. Because os the conversion factor, a podting having difference of 2 sens is done.
Please advice how to solve the issue.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Indranil,
In m/06 , I have maintained Condition class A    & Condition category as B for that condition type
Also can you also explain what you meant by "As far my knowledge goes either you maintain it in your tax procedure or in your pricing procedure".
