Unable to Allocate LPN to Move Order

Hi,
I have a LPN (RMP00001) with 2 Lots (LOT1 & LOT2) packed in inventory.
Created a Sales order and booked it.
Perform Pick Release and generate Move Order.
In Move Order while i am trying to allocate, it is allocating the LOTs but not the LPN.
My requirement is, it should allocate to the LPN.
Could you help me to resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Tushar

Arif,
Thanks.
I have test it works.
But i m facing another issue.
i have 2 LPN with 2 LOTS each.
I have reserved it, create pick release and allocate to move order.
Now i have 4 task id for 4 LOT each i.e. in move order i have 4 line, each line is allocating to signle LOTs no to LPN.
Is it a standard behaviour or i am missing some thing.
Also i am facing some issue with task id.
When i have 2 task id for 2 Lots of an LPN and i put 1 task id for LOAD & DROP then it is giving asking me LPN and LOTs.
When i enter LPN & LOT again it ask for LPN to confirm.
And when i enter the LPN number again it is not taking and messaging "INVALID".
Can you please give me specific solution to resolve my isse.
Thanks,
Tushar

We Queried the move order and when checked found that the Allocated Quantity on the transact Move orders form is shown as Zero(normally when pick released with Auto Allocate='No' it should show the allocated quantity as null but i dont understand why its showing zero quantity??)

  • Unable to allocate disk space, disk might be fragmented

I have a partitioned drive, I switch back and forth between 9.2.2 and 10.4. I use Protools on 9.2.2 and have never had a problem with recording audio until now. Whenever I go to record an audio track, it tells me "Unable to allocate disk space, disk might be fragmented". If I dont have enough space on the internal hard drive, how do I find that out and free up more space? If I need to fragment the drive, how do I do that also. I just now backed up all my files to an external firewire drive, and even when I open the moved files and try to record audio, it gives me the same error message. Can anyone help with this?
    regards
    Danro

    Hi, Danro -
    Welcome to Apple's Discussions.
If I dont have enough space on the internal hard drive, how do I find that out and free up more space?
Do a Get Info on the icon of the hard drive. Two of the info items presented in the Get Info window will be "Capacity" and "Available" - the critical one is the one labelled "Available" - that's how much total unused space there is on that partition. For normal usage, this should not be less than about 15% of the "Capacity" figure - i.e., a volume should not be allowed to get more than about 85% full.
The total unused space ("Available") does not take into account how much the disk may be fragmented.
To free up space, throw away or archive off files - once they have been archived off the originals can be thrown away.
Note - before throwing away the originals, confirm that the archived files are indeed copies, and not aliases - you can check for that by looking at the name of the file on the archive volume - names for aliases are shown in italic - or by examining the size of the file - an alias will typically report as being only about 4K in size.
If I need to fragment the drive, how do I do that also.
I assume that's a typo - no one should try to fragment a drive; the goal should be to defragment a drive.
This Apple KBase article discusses file (drive) fragmentation -
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=17933
There are two basic ways to defragment a drive -
    • Archive off all the items that you do not want to lose, then erase the volume (partition). This can be done only while booted to another volume - to a CD, or to a different partition (such as the OSX one, in your case). Then re-install the OS and copy back the files needed from the archive volume.
Note - doing a simple Finder-based erase of the drive will not fix any directory errors; it will only fix file fragmentation. To get rid of any directory errors, you will need to use a utility such as Alsoft's DiskWarrior, or re-initialize and re-partition the entire drive. Note that this second option, re-initialization, will delete everything on the drive as a whole, including all partitions, not just the partition in question.
    • Use a defragmenting utility such as Alsoft's PlusOptimizer or MicroMat's TechTool Pro. A defragmenting utility will not remove anything from the volume - it just moves files around physically on the volume until they are no longer fragmented. In order for it to be able to do that it will need some free space on the volume - usually 15% or so of the volume's capacity is sufficient for that.
    <hr>
Sometimes an error message is not fully accurate - there is a problem, but the wrong message is generated. To examine for that, boot to an OS Install CD (either OS 9 or OSX, depending what is available), and run Disk First Aid (OS 9) or Disk Utility (OSX). Let the utility examine the drive, and have it repair all that it finds wrong.

  • How to add new line in transact move order line

    Hi,
i am able to update locaotr in Transact move order.
But i want to add two locators for the same line.
I tried to insert one more record in data base, but getting error unique index error.
so how can we add new line in transact move order line .
please help to slove this isse.
    Thanks In Advance
    Venu.

    Hi,
the fact that your question is posted in Order Management section, does the move order automatically generated by OM?
nevertheless, i don't think you should (or allowed, in this case) to add a new line in transact move order. Transact move order only queries (not create records) the move order lines eligible to allocate and transact.
So, I don't see why you need to add a new line in transact move order.
You can, however, add a new line in the allocation of the lines, where for instance, you need to have half of the line allocated to one locator, and the other half to another locator
    Thanks

  • Auto allocation for a move order with an expired lot doesn't work

    Hello everyone,
We are facing a major problem regarding the use of move orders for issuing expired lots.
    Scenario:
    1. Create a move order. Fill in: Item, Qty, Source Subinv and Lot. Lot is expired.
    2. Approve move order.
    3. Run "Move Order Pick Slip" with "Autoallocate Unallocated lines".
    4. Open Transact Move Order Form. Try to transact.
    Result:
    No allocations were created.
If we check row and push "allocate" button result is still "None".
Only way to finish the process is to open "View/Update Allocations" and pick a locator manually.
We work with a lot of expired lots, and doing that manually is a lousy workaround.
Does anyone know if that is standard functionality? Because documentation does not refer this issue.
    Thanks,
    Aaron

A move order got created , now I need to allocate the serial number for processing the move order,I used the below script to update the line record with incoming start and end serial number.
But the api is throwing error .

I have it set to allow other applications to use 7GB, have jockeyed that setting between 1GB and 5GB and still gotten the same error message. Disk Cache is set to 3GB, have pushed it all the up to 7GB and still gotten the same message. I am working in 1080p, but I got the error message with Open GL on, quarter resolution, and wasn't even trying to RAM preview. I also noticed that with a straight 1080p clip .mov animation codec clip, after effects will only RAM preview about 7 seconds. That is without any other layers or effects.  I do not have all of my source footage in one folder, I am going to try that next. I am running of a fast internal hard drive that is not they system drive.  It also seems like it happens after I have been using the comptuer for awhile. If I restart the problem will usually go away for a little while.
I think that I may have a bigger system error, the computer locked up bad once after I had it for a few weeks and since that happened CS4 has been unstable in general, especially Photoshop and Bridge. My guess is bad RAM, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something with my AE settings.  If any one has any input please let me know. Thanks.

    > I lowered the minimum RAM per core to 1GB, because the Adobe site recommends that as a base setting for andHD project
When you say "the Adobe site recommends", what exactly are you referring to? If you're quoting recommendations written for After Effects on the Adobe website, you're very likely quoting me. And this is what I wrote in the Help document:
    "Memory & Multiprocessing preferences":
"The amount of RAM required for each background process varies depending on your system configuration; at least 1 GB per process is recommended. Optimum performance is achieved with computer systems with at least 2 GB of installed RAM per processor core."
This blog post gives essentially the same advice, but with more explicit suggestions.
But, as I say at the bottom of that blog post, if you find that some other settings are working better for you, that's great. Every project and computer system are different. Do what works for you.
    > Also, if it is an
dual quad core system, there should be 8 cores, but in the
multi-processer preferences panel it lists CPU's as 16.
The number of "virtual" processors can be double in a system that uses hyperthreading. After Effects doesn't actually treat these as separate processors in this context, though.

  • Unable to allocate Large_pool_size in 11g

    Hi ,
I am running database version 11.2.0.2 in Linux , I have used AMM (Automatic memory management) for memory organization.
I am getting a frequent ORA-04031 errors where it is unable to allocate the memory for RMAN backup from large_pool_size. So I tried to set the large_pool_size = 20M but not allowing where shared_pool_size has free memory around 230M, What could be the reason?

  • Ability to capture Move Order Transfer Receipts at destination sub-inventor

    Dear All,
We are currently in the process implementing multiple customization's to existing oracle business suite. I would like to clarify a below point regarding move order transfers.
I am aware that for inter-organization transfers, there is standard oracle feature to record the receipts at destination inventory organization.
However, in the standard oracle there is no feature to record the receipts at a sub-inventory for a move order transfer. This is a major concern as we are unable to account for good lost /pilferage in transit.
Since we are going ahead with customization, can anyone please reply if they have performed a similar action of customization or an alternative method to capture receipts for move order transfers.
Thank you in advance for any replies/suggestions..

Please, if you have success with this ability i really want to know the result.

  • Unable to allocate enough memory to render the current frame

I am a bit of a novice at AE, just starting to learn. I have googled this, searched these forums and tried all I can think of. No luck. SO I will ask here.
I bought this AE file  http://videohive.net/item/-earth-zoom-customize/6451983
Here is the error message I get when trying to render
After Effects error: Unable to allocate enough memory to render the current frame (18172 x 18172 @ 8 bpc). Either decrease the memory requirements for the rendering of this frame, or install more RAM. (12805). For more information, see adobe.com/learn_ae_mem (7 :: 66)
I even tried to render the project without making any changes. No luck
    My info:
    Macbook pro 15” Mid 2012
    OSX 10.9.2
Processor 2.6 ghz intel core i7
    Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
    Running AE CC 12.2.1.5
First thought, Is my laptop inadequate for this type of work?
When it says - (18172 x 18172 @ 8 bpc) is that the resolution it's trying to output? The project is 6 seconds long and 1920x1080 resolution.
I can render it at half resolution, but not at the 1080 res.
    Thanks for your help.

Purged cache, set it to purge every 5 frames ... no luck. Purge every frame ... no luck.
I tried disabling different parts of the clip to render. No luck until I disabled the inner shadow of the globe, and it seems to work.
What should your purge setting be normally for this ap? I think it was set to "0". SHould I move it back to 0?
    Thanks for your help.

  • After Effects Unable to Allocate Enough Memory to Render Current Frame/ MeshWarp problem.

    Hello,
I am currently working with 17 layers in AE- CC 2014.1.1 (13.1.1)  Most of the layers have multiple effects, including the "Mesh Warp,"- which happened to have been freezing my computer constantly.  I finally had to change computers... First, I was unable to render these layers, because there is not enough memory space. So I went back to editing. After adding a couple of video layers, I went to play back, and got the above message:  "After Effects Unable to Allocate Enough Memory to Render Current Frame"
I changed my "cache" folder to my external hard drive. I also upped the cache space from 23MB to 50MB. But I am still getting this error.
In terms of the Mesh warp: Once i brought the effect to the video file, and tried to move the grid, I got the rainbow spinny ball. It went away after a while. As soon as I clicked on ANYTHING- i got the wheel again. This continued until I "Forced Quit." I don't know what thats about...
This is the info for the Composition Settings/ computer I am working on. i am trying to give as much information as possible. This is for my Senior Thesis! Can anyone please help me ASAP?
    Best,
    Julia

What are these layers you're working with? What size? What format? What Codec? What color space?
What happens if you turn on Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously (reserving at least one core for other programs)?

I assume you mean GB, not MB...
What happens if you save to version 12 and try to work on it there? (If you don't have an older version installed, try it: Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps)
Have you tried rebooting your machine recently? Do other programs/apps//software run normally?

  • Move Order & Available to Reserve Quantity

    Hi Everybody,
Is there any relation between Move Order transaction and Available to Reserve Quantity in oracle Inventory Management R12.0.6?
I have create a Move Order for an item with 50 as quantity; on-hand quantities before Move Order transaction:
    - available quantity: 980
    - available to reserve: 980
    - available to transact: 980
after Move Order created on-hand quantities are:
    - available quantity: 980
    - available to reserve: 980
    - available to transact: 980
My question here is why is available to reserve quantity not reduced to be 930 as available to reserve quantity???
after Allocating and Transacting Move Order on-hand quantities are
on-hand quantity before Move Order transaction:
    - available quantity: 930
    - available to reserve: 930
    - available to transact: 930

    Hi Ahmed,
As far as my knowledge Available to Reserve will not change with just the creation of Move Order.
It will change only when you allocate the quantity.
Hence you are not seeing the reduction of 50.
When you allocate a record will be created in MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP.
This quantity is treated as pending and hence it will be removed from ATR.
But when you just create MO you will not have record in MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP.
Hence you cannot see the reduction.

    Sabari
