My network has not been working today. When I click on it it says "unable to access nhe network". My guest network will work. When I hit the blue arrow on the right hand side of my network there is no information in the IP address, subnet mask, router, etc. There is information in my guest section when I checked. I have unplugged and replugged my router and turned my Wifi button of and off, started and restarted my Ipod as per internet suggestions. Would anyone know how to get my network reactivated. I am nervous to hit reset network settings in case I lose all my music and icons, etc. added since I got my Ipod. Thank you for any assistance

What encryption/security is the router using?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

My email only display the list of mails in my in box with a preview of the first two lines of the body of the message. When one clicks on the message to open it, only the header is displayed in the right hand side of the screen - the actual message is missing. This happens on older mail previously downloaded that use to work properly as well. Any idea how to fix this?
Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

What's the deal with the annoying new menu in CS3 on the right hand side taking up unnecessary space on my screen? how do I get rid of it? All I want is my layer and history pallette. All the rest I want to hide. And if I want to remove the tool bar, how do I do this? it doesn't have a close box anymore? Also every time I open a file now, it opens up with the black background as default. How do I go back to the old way where it just opens a window?

Click the very top part of each pallet and this minimizes everything in that pallet to the side. If you want to close the pallet altogether, be sure it is open and then click the "x" in the top right of that pallet.

I'm guessing you need to hit the "F"key a few times (if this fixes it then it really isn't the "background" color that has changed). Otherwise you can change it here when opening a new file: -
How do I force all Tabs to the right hand side, leaving space on the left?
It feels more intuitive to have the first tab against the right hand side and it's easier to find because it always remains in the same position when, eg, closing other tabs. I use TabMixPlus, but can't find the required option. Many thanks.
You can check out code in the userChrome.css file to see that it doesn't really work well (tabs move around when you hover or click).

Apparently I am missing something (stupid). Suggestions are welcome. I'm a novice with Lightroom. Just migrated from Aperture.
I am going to assume that what you meant about changing the date format is that you want to change the way the date is formatted in the renamed file. Is that correct? To do that, you need to tell Lightroom you want to rename your photos during import. On the right hand side panel of the Import dialog is a section on File Renaming. Open that up and you will find a Template drop down box. This is where you can build a file renaming template to fit your needs or you can create a custom one. If you do create your own, make sure to save it as a preset if you want to reuse later. There are all sorts of ways to rename your files with several different date formats to choose from.
Another possibility is the subfolder option for where you are going to store your imported folders. If you chose to Organize By Date, you can also use the Date Format drop down box to choose a date format. This will cause Lightroom to build a folder for each date found in photos you are importing a create a separate folder for each day found. So, if you had three batches of photos from three separate days, three new folders would be built by Lightroom and the photos created on day one would be stored in the day one folder. Same for day two and day three.
Finally, if you don't like the format of the capture date or one of the other dates fields stored in the metadata, you are out of luck. You can change the date but not the format. -
I have no bar on the right-hand side to move down the page

that would probably be caused by a Theme, and Extension, or a Style, you can check that ouit quickly by testing in safe mode (one time restart of firefox)

If you have scrollbar there you need to isolate the problem
If only one one site, there are a lot of creative web designers who think if you have a wide screen they should make use of all of the width.

Checkbox prompt coming at right hand side
Hi,
I had created a checkbox in my already existing custom page. I added a prompt to that checkbox, its prompt is coming at right hand side of checkbox.
It is looking a bit awkward as all the other columns prompt are coming at the left hand side and only prompt for this checkbox is coming at right hand side.
Please help me on this.

This is the OAF default behaviour of check box, confirm with the user/ client whether they need the prompt in left hand side.
A small workaround could be:
Donot specify prompt to messagecheckbox
create a row layout and in that create a static styled text or raw text and specify text as prompt of message check box and create a messagecheckbox (donot specify prompt for messagecheck box)

If I do not select F11 ( full screen ) a big part of the screen "falls" of the right hand side of my monitor and is not readable, I am not able to find the neccesary adjustments.

For no apparent reason my Mac (2 GHz PowerPC G5) running 10.4.11 has put a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also a band of the same pattern across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side over the dock. (See screen grabs below.)
It doesn't affect any operations but makes folder names and drop-down menus difficult to read through the pattern.
I'm not aware of changing any settings so suspect I must have clicked on something without noticing. How do I get rid of the overlaid pattern, please?Information about my computer is as follows:
