Unable to create Model from DOE Data Object

Hi,
I created a Mobile Laptop WebDynpro DC in NWDS 7.1, the build and deploy work fine.
The problem is that when I attempt to create a Model based on a Data Object from the
Mobile Middleware 7.1 DOE, I always get an exception when the Data Object metadata is
imported (the last step of the Model Creation Wizard).
Here's the exception :
Status ERROR

I know this is not related to Middleware authorization, I tested with a userid with full DOE authorization.
When I display the Data Object metadata from the Middleware, it shows as status 'active'.
The exception seems to complain about the backend key, but there is a backend key field in
the Data Object.
I have the same exception even with any SAP delivered Data Objects (MAM30_001, etc..).
any thoughts on what the problem is ?
thanks,
Yanick.

Hi Yannick,
This type of error can occur with local non-dc Mobile App when some jars required for the model generation are missing.
The easiest way to fix this is to create a DC for your Mobile app from the
Mobile App Offline perspective.
Let me know if it works

    Hi,
    what is the error message?
    In his example it seems his definition is not completed. As it sais: at least one.... required. So he should most likely complete his definition and then it should work.
    What are you doing? Do your try to import objects of a simple MI7.0 standard app? If this is the case you will most likely run into problems cause MI7.1 does not support T51 BOs and so you will see an error message.

  • Delete a row from a data object using an AQ-driven EMS

    Hello, technetwork.
    I need to show the contents of a table that changes frequently (inserts, updates and deletes) at ORDBMS 10g in my BAM dashboard.
    What i have done is:
    - Create two different queue tables, queues.
    - Create two triggers: one for "AFTER insert or UPDATE" and the other for "BEFORE DELETE".
    - Create two EMS, one configured to Upsert operations and the other to Delete.
    - The Upsert EMS works, but the Delete EMS does not.
    - Both EMS Metrics say that they work fine and commit the messages i send to the ADC.
    - Testing showed records are populated and updated in the ADC but never deleted.
    There is a detailed user case for "Creating an EMS Against Oracle Streams AQ JMS Provider" in the Fusion Midleware Developer's Guide for SOA Suite, but it deals only with Upserts. I am using the last versions of SOA suite and Weblogic. The official support has no information either.
    I hope writing a web service client isn't the only way to delete a row from a data object. Am i missing something? Any help will be much appreciated.

Open your JSF page in your favourite webbrowser and view the generated HTML source. Finally just base your Javascript function on it.

  • Thread: 11gPS2 : Error creating model from wsdl while creating a WebService

    Hi ,
    I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using Jdev.I am using a WSDL file located in my local system for the same. I choose all default options but the proxy is not created due to the following error -
    "Error creating model from wsdl <wsdl_name> : A class/interface with the same name xyz already in use"
    https://picasaweb.google.com/sudipto.desmukh/ADFIssues?authkey=Gv1sRgCJeF2bWcoM_ZBg#5610073699826050514
    I found a few threads which had similar issues but the solutions didnot work for me -
    1)Error creating model from wsdl (Create separate model projects for proxies , since in the existing model project I already had generated files using create WebServiceData control wizard)
    2)Error when creating Web Service Proxy (there are no duplicate variables or schemas in my wsdl)
    Can someone please suggest what might be wrong ?
    Thanks

    Hi
    Check with the connection string & Authorization of user you have used.
    MSSQL string is
    jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://dbhost:1433;databaseName=example;SelectMethod=Cursor
    While doing JDBC its good to refer Note 831162 lot of problems can be resolved.
    Thanks

    Check permissions, disk space of following dirs:
    server_root/https-instance/ClassCache/
    server_root/https-instance/SessionData/
    Try to:
    Clear Session Data
    Delete JSP Class Cache Files
    using the Session Data link under Admin Server GUI Java tab
    Hope it helps!

  • Creating XML from raw data

    I am trying to create xml from raw data. It works well in the format builder but
    when I instanciate the MFLObject and run convert to xml, the output only contains
    wrappers for my first field described in the mfl. Are there any known issues
    using this progmattic conversion to XML.
    My mfl is the following:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <!DOCTYPE MessageFormat SYSTEM 'mfl.dtd'>
    <!-- Enter description of the message format here. -->
    <MessageFormat name='BossRecord' version='2.01'>
    <FieldFormat name='Header' type='String' length='102' codepage='windows-1252'/>
    <StructFormat name='TransactionControlRecord' delim='999'>
    <FieldFormat name='TransactionTypeNumber' type='String' length='3' codepage='windows-1252'/>
    <FieldFormat name='TransactionData' type='String' codepage='windows-1252'>
    <LenField type='Numeric' length='4'/>
    </FieldFormat>
    </StructFormat>
    <StructFormat name='Generic' repeat='*'>
    <FieldFormat name='GenericTypeNumber' type='String' length='3' codepage='windows-1252'/>
    <FieldFormat name='GenericData' type='String' codepage='windows-1252'>
    <LenField type='Numeric' length='4'/>
    </FieldFormat>
    </StructFormat>
    <FieldFormat name='IgnoreTheRest' type='Filler' optional='y' length='1' repeat='*'>
    <!--
    This field is useful for testing partially constructed formats. Adding
    this field to the
    end of a format will cause any leftover bytes on the end of a binary file to be
    ignored when the data is converted to XML.
    -->
    </FieldFormat>
    </MessageFormat>
    Are there any issues with this that are easy to spot?

    Okay, I've got some coding off a site that looks like it will do what I want. It's quite a robust applications which will do more than I need but as long as it does at least what I want, i could care less. As it will extract files from the datastream for me, it is going to save them to disk.
    I believe I have to specify a directory to save it to. I believe this is the line I'm going to modify, so assuming that's the case, how do I specify a directory here:
    private File fileOutPutDirectory = null;
    Do I have to use absolute paths or can I use relative. Also, what directory construct is expected by java? Anyone with an example of what urls are supposed to look like in this case?
    Thanks,
    destin

    Try editing the file and put only the <SOAP-ENV:Envelope> XML into your file.
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Head
    er><edc:transid xmlns:edc="http://www.edc.com">4</edc:transid><edc:cmdid xmlns:edc="http://www.edc.com">50</edc:cmdid><edc:attDataInfo xmlns:edc="http://www.edc.com">.\testdata\FormExample.xml</edc:attDataInf o></SOAP-ENV:Header><SOAP-ENV:Body/></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    i.e remove all the "Part", "Content-type: text/xml", "image.jpeg" stuff.

  • Unable to create SC from internal catalog (MDM)

    Hi All,
    We have issue were user is unable to create SC from internal catalog. User can access the catalog, however when trying to checkout he gets BLANK screen. This issue is with all the items for that catalog.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,
    What is your IE version ? If its IE 8.0 please check SAP note 1511147. This contains settings that are needed.
    Please also check the following note:
    1264879 - Transferred Catalog items get stuck at Inbound Handler
    Please maintain the ISO code of page on the webservice details as UTF-8 and retest. Also try, if you are using BYPASS_INBOUND_HANDLR parameter on the call structure with value = X delete this line and retest.
    Another issue is that if the user does not have access to the product category their items will not be added to the SC.
    I hope this helps,
    Lisa

  • Unable to create DIR from the objects

    Hi,
    I want to create the DIR from the object  transaction, eg., Purchase Order, I have set "1" - Create Simple Document under Define Object Links for that particular Document type, But despite this config, I am not getting the "create" button. whereas I have assigned the same document type to another Object link Appropriation Request, and I am able to create DIR from the object transaction itself. Upon, exploring the system, I found that the Purchase order uses the Program "SAPLCVOB" screen"0200" whereas Appropriation request has Program "SAPLCV140" screen"0204" So, I presume that the configuration affects only SAPLCV140 and it has no affect to SAPLCVOB. Or is there any other way to create the DIR directly from the objects which uses SAPLCVOB program? My user wants to create DIR directly from PO.

    Dear Mohamed,
    To grant that allways the currenct screens and authorizations were
    called please maintain also the value "1" into the "Authorization"
    column. For further informations on this maintainance please see the
    SAP note 1066915. It's important that you not enter the mentioned
    screen number wihtout the leading "1" as this number is added
    automatically by the system (e.g. object MARA 1201 maintain like MARA
    201). You can do this in customizing under:
    Transaction SPRO
    > Cross-Application-Component
        > Document Management
             > Control Data
                 > Define screen for object links
    If you need the dynpro number or object you will find all standard SAP
    objects and their screen number in function module CV130 (Screens) by
    transaction SE80. Please maintain all necessary SAP objects.
    Best regards,
    Christoph

  • How to create a java.util.Date object from a date String?

    How do I convert a String representation of a date in for the format dow mon dd hh:mm:ss zzz yyyy (e.g. "Mon Aug 27 17:12:59 EDT 2001") into a Date object? This you might note is the output of the Date classes toString() method. I don't want to have to parse this string. Thanks!

    Try this out
    java.text.SimpleDateFormat sdf = new java.text.SimpleDateFormat("yyyyMMdd");
    String d = "19990831";
    Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
    cal.setTime(sdf.parse(d));To create the SimpleDateFormat with a diffrent format check out all the possibilities here
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html
    Hope this helps

  • Create Tree from Preordered data

    Here is a quick summary of what I'm trying to do:
    I have a file with formatted like this
    Does it have legs?
    Dog
    Fish
    and the resulting tree for it should look like this
         Does it have legs?
         Dog        Fishand I'm trying to write a function that takes in a Scanner object that should already be tied to the data file and create a tree from this data that is already listed in Preorder fashion. I know tha recurison is probably the best way to go about this but everything that I have written hasn't worked. Also, I cant really figure out a way to use recursion when the function is taking in a Scanner I dont know how it would work.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Here is what I have now:
         public BinaryTree<String> readTree(Scanner data)
              BinaryTree<String> temp = new BinaryTree<String>();
              temp.attachLeft(data.next());
              temp.attachRight(data.next());
              return temp;
         }I know this function wont go through the whoel file, but I've tried many loops but I cant figure out how to get it to work so I'm convinced that I need to figure out how to make it recursive
    (yes I know that everything that can be done through recursion can be done with a loop)

    @OP:
    Here's how you could do it:
    import java.io.File;
    import java.io.FileNotFoundException;
    import java.util.Scanner;
    import java.util.Stack;
    class Main {
        public static void main(String[] args) throws FileNotFoundException {
            Scanner file = new Scanner(new File("data.txt"));
            BinTree tree = new BinTree(file);
            System.out.println(tree);
    class BinTree  {
        private BinNode root;
        public BinTree(Scanner file) {
            // create the root (first line in the file)
            root = new BinNode(file.nextLine());
            // create a stack
            Stack<BinNode> stack = new Stack<BinNode>();
            // push the root on the stack: we need it to add nodes to the left and right of it
            stack.push(root);
            // call the insert method to build the tree
            insert(stack, file);
        private void insert(Stack<BinNode> stack, Scanner file) {
            IF 'file' has no more lines left
                stop this method
            END IF
            BinNode 'next' <- the next line in 'file'
            IF the left node of the last node on the 'stack' equals null
                the left child of last node of the stack <- 'next' (but leave the stack in tact)
            ESLE
                the right child of last node of the stack <- 'next' (remove the last node of the stack)
            END IF
            IF 'next' is a question
                push 'next' on the stack
            END IF
            recursively call the insert(...) method here
    class BinNode {
        String data;
        BinNode right, left;
        public BinNode(String data) { this.data = data; }
        public String toString() { return this.data; }
    }
