Unable to download Flash Player Plugin 11.7.700.224
Cannot play games due to inability to update Flash Player Plugin in Firefox. Firefox notes that I need to update, but will not let me do it. Every time I click "Update Now" or type "unable to update Adobe Flash Player Plugin 11.7.700.224", another Firefox screen appears, stating something like "Flash Player 11.6 to 10. blah-blah" has problems and has been blocked by Firefox. I KNOW THIS!! That's why I am trying to update Flash Player Plugin, as Firefox has suggested. As far as I can tell, I have deleted everything having to do with Flash Player...so why am I not able to download the newest version? (I went to Adobe website to make sure everything was deleted, and it showed I had no Flash Player installed.) Am I doing something wrong? I have been trying to download this for quite a while, to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You can find the latest Flash player versions for Firefox on this page.

DO I NEED BOTH? WHEN I TRIED TO WATCH A VIDEO ON MY E-MAIL I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO DOWNLOAD FLASH PLAYER. WHEN I TRY TO DOWNLOAD IT NOTHING HAPPENS. I HAVE WINDOWS VISTA AND I AM USING IE9 WHICH THE TECH ALSO DOWNLOADED FOR ME. SINCE MY CALL I GET A BOX WITH A SCRIPT ERROR ON NEARLY EVERY PAGE.
Hi, I am back and can see clearly. I have not experienced the error box while moving the pointer. I do have some examples for your review. I will start with what happens when I start a session. I click on IE and get the error box. I click on red "X". Comcast.net is my home page and the Tab is trying to take me there. The symbol showing that it is running is turning but will not connect. Next I click on the "X" on the address bar. This stops the TAB. Now I click on the Refresh and I get my home page without any error box.
Examples
1. The animalrescuesite.com
From e-mail. I am helping to provide food for animals and it doesn't cost me. If you are interested I encourage you to go to the site and sign up. You will get an email each day and it takes less than thirty seconds to do. When I open there is no error box. When I click on "click here" I get the error box. To close I click on the red "X". I then click on purple box "click here to give". No more error boxes backing out of the site.
From address bar there is no error box on page 2.
2. bestwestern.com
From e-mail. Same as example #1. no error box on page 1. When I click on "book now" I get error box. I click on red "X" and then no more error boxes while in the site. I clicked on each tab. Also no error boxes while backing out of site.
From address bar there is no error box on page 2.
3. Any e-mail with video link.
When I click on the link I get the error box. After I click on the red "X" the video starts.
I hope this helps. Also I wanted to get your take on me uninstalling the fire fox and when. I am ready to compose my e-mail to Adobe. Do you want to see it before I send it. You might offer an insight that I miss. -
Uninstalling and reloading the flash player plugin has not solved the problem. As soon as I "click to play" the video begins then Flash Player crashes
Hi X-Calibar, thanks for your comments. Yes, there are 4 zones under Internet Options and security settings. IE9 from what I have read has more security features than IE7/IE8 had. It appears this Server verification involves status of the Certificate that the website has as well as the Server that is using it. From what I've read on the IE9 sites, Microsoft states that if any HTTP sites are in the Trusted Zone, that the Server Verification is to be UNchecked.
When you go to add a site to the Trusted Sites zone, it by default only accepts HTTPS sites.
I would think that would only be if you had the SV box checked, that's what I find with IE8.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Search?q=what+is+server+verification+in+IE&prd =Windows7
I think you and I may be saying the same thing, just in a different way:-) Not using IE9, I don't know how all of the new features work. My concern is mainly limited to any feature that conflicts or effects Flash Player. Just as the ActiveX Filtering. That certainly effects Flash Player, so that is on my radar:-)
Hopefully, Chris Campbell will clarify some of this:-)
Thanks,

Unable to download Flash Player 10.3.181.34
The downloader stops at 12% and I get an error reading "Unable to contact trackers".
I've tried downloading from here, but the download itself won't even start, whether I use Firefox (it's frozen and stays on "Starting...") or Internet Explorer.

Unable to Download Flash Player
I have IE Version
8.0.6001 32-bit. Windows XP. I am trying to download Adobe Flash Player 10.2.152.32. When I click on the download box it says that it is already downloaded (but in actuality it is not). I run through the series of steps and at the end it indicates that both Adobe Flash Player 10.2 as well as McAfee Security are installed. Then, another box comes up that says "The installer will automatically continue when these conflicting applications are closed: Windows Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and Internet Explorer. There is also a "QUIT" box and an "INSTALL" box. If I click the "INSTALL" box, an error message pops up saying that Adobe 10.2 is not installed. If I click the "QUIT" box, everything stops as well. This is becoming extremely frustrating. What am I to do? In the Add/Remove section of the Control Panel, all that is listed is Adobe Download Manager, Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX, and Akamai NetSession Interface. I also have "Adobe UnInstall Flash Player" on my desktop. I have tried to apply that, but to no avail. I have also applied the "Kill-Bit"remover and have tried to re-install the download but still no success. I need help! Thanks.I have IE Version

New W7 64bit computer, running FFox 23. Unable to download Flash Player
Hi
So brand new computer with above spec. Operator not exactly proficient with all things IT
Struggling to understand what is going on.
I have repeatedly try to download the latest version of Flashplayer but can't seem to get past the download tab of Firefox ie as far as I can tell, Flash has not yet reached the computer hard drive itself.
I have tried un-installing Flash player, tried turning off the MS security system, ie have followed the Adobe trouble-shooter but am now stuck.
BTW I did use the W7 Easy Transfer softward so my old files have been transferred from both a W7 and an old XP OS'd computer -could this be the issue
Be grateful for any advice,,,
Cheers
ADownload the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save Link as".
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save it to your downloads folder.
DO NOT run it yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE you open anything else, locate and run the installer.
You should be "good to go" from there. -

Trouble shoot Adobe Flash Player version 11.7.700.224
I Have installed Flash Player 11.7.700.224 in my HP 1000 Note book PC with Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit, but flash player is not worlking correctly. Videos freez randomly or hang.
noelenefromashford,
I'm in the same boat. Safari 6.0.5, stalls, and stops playing video (youtube, vimeo, etc). I tried the same videos with Firefox and they play fine!

Flash Player Plugin pushing cpu to 100% on Laptop
I know there is many (many many) discussions on this topic, but I was hoping to get a clear answer on how to solve this issue. It seems that my issues with cpu have been going off and on for a bit now, but in the last month or so it's been practically every single day.
Within the first hour from boot up everything is okay with the videos and flash media, but after that it starts to hike up and next thing I know my cpu is at 100% and the computer is hanging and moments later it's telling me if I want to wait for the plugin to respond. If I say yes it stalls some more and then tries to keep going but it's super choppy and it makes horrible noises, if I say no then it says that the flash player plugin crashed and to refresh- just for it to go through that again. Something strange about this is that when I put my laptop into sleep mode (not shutdown) for 30 or so minutes and come back, my system drops the cpu levels and it is fine again until another hour then the whole thing starts again. I use Norton 360 so it's constantly telling me that Adobe flash is using too much cpu or firefox (browser I use) and the performance log norton has about my computer tells me that just yesterday I had a moment of being at 100% for 10 minutes straight!
I've tried seeing if it was really just firefox doing this as it does take a lot of cpu on it's own, but after going into firefox safe mode the problem with flash jumping high in cpu was still there.
Does anyone have a solution? (I'm not a tech expert, just your normal everyday user so please make it as simple as possible!)
If you need more ifo let me know! Thanks!

I am not able to download Flash Player--- the error message is Internet Explorer should be closed
I am unable to download Flash Player ===== the error message says that Internet Explorer should be closed---- how would I get to Adobe.com if Internet Explorer is not open?
You download the installer (http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe) and save it to disk, then close all Internet Explorer windows and run the downloaded installer.
