Unable to find Setup Wizard on my 8700

Having got a refurb 8700 BB so we can use with our customer's systems if necessary, I am unable to find the setup wizard to setup BIS, the phone is a 8700g and in Advanced Options it says Blackberry 4.1 system software.
I have confirmed with the carrier that i have got BIS activated, and have recieved applicatins like googletalk, Yahoo messenger etc, and can get on the internet, but have no option to setup emails.
Tried wiping the device but no luck.
Can somebody help?

1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site.
From your handheld device: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402
From your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
3. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot

I want to migrate from FF21 to FF24. But i am unable to find setup for FF24.

If you really want to use Firefox 24 and not the current Firefox 25 release then at least install the Firefox 24.1.0 ESR version to get security updates.

Hi, I am using my icloud on my iphone but am unable to find it on my mac book pro. It's not under my system preferences like it shows under the setup. Can I download it again? Or something. I just need to backup some files on my computer and am unable.

The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mavericks preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is now non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mavericks, provided it meets the requirements.
    The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
    OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Mavericks (10.9.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.
The requirements for Mountain Lion and Mavericks are:
    OS X v10.6.8 or later
    2GB of memory
    8GB of available space
      and the supported models are:
    iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
It is available from the Mac App Store (in Applications).
You should be aware that PPC programs (such as AppleWorks) will not run on Lion or above; and some other applications may not be compatible - there is a useful compatibility checklist at http://roaringapps.com/apps:table

  • Setup Assistant unable to find base station

Ok I am new to wireless so here goes. I have a iMac G5 2.0 running 10.4. I just bought the base station today. I am trying to use dsl with PPPoE. I have checked those settings about a 100 times. The same settings and cable I am using to post here to this forum thru ethernet.
I plug in the base and when I get the flashing amber it is recognized in the internet connet app with a full signal strength. If I try to connect it tells me it cannot locate the server.
When I try the setup assist app and select 'Set up a new Airport Base Station' and hit continue. it immediately say it found a new Airport Express base station and includes the name. But when I hit continue again it takes a minute to think the brings up a error message. '...unable to find your base station.
I also come up empty with the Airport Admin utility. Nothing shows in it.
I hope someone can help. Thanks.
    Jeffrey Dalton

Whether or not a sound system is plugged into the Airport Express has no influence on the generation of this error message by the Airport Setup Assistant.
I have a distinct feeling I'm going to be reiterating everything the people at Mac support told you to do (so it would be helpful to tell us at the start what you have tried thus far to solve the problem) but the next thing I would recommend is a factory default reset of the Airport Express per:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=108044
The other thing that can cause all sorts of grief is any non-Apple firewall software you might have installed on this Mac - that includes firewalls, "internet protection" software, and VPN client software. The MacOS built in firewall is OK - but all this other baggage should either be disabled or uninstalled.

  • Setup Wizard unable to locate Router. WRT54GR

After I run the Setup Wizard disc and hooked up the router as the disc instructs you to do I click on the "next" button after powering it on and I get a message that says "The Setup Wizard was unable to locate an Router on your network. Please make sure your Router is powered on and all cables are properly connected to your PC". It is hooked up correctly. The lights that are supposed to be on are on. The "wireless" and "internet" light are flashing very quickly though and not solid. Is this normal or not? Also when I first turned it on, my firewall recognized the network and asked me to assign it a name, so I don't understand why the Setup Wizard is not recognizing the router. This is for a WRT54GR.

Go to control panel>network connections>right-lick local area connection and click properties>highlight internet protocol tcp/ip and click properties. Make sure it's set to obtain an ip address automatically and obtain dns.
    Hope this helps! (",)

  • Unable to find HP 8610 during setup

Running Windows 7and I am just trying to set it up wirelessly. I have tried everything listed on the HP 8610's support page and still have had no luck. I have tried opening the IP that the printer is giving me in chrome and I get
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 192.168.2.11
    Try reloading: 192.168.2.11
    Thanks in advance

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @Woodya34
I am hoping to help you out with the connection issue you're having with your Officejet 8610.
First I would suggest power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer.
Try entering the printer's IP address in a web browser again to see if you can reach the embedded web server.
If you are still not connected, run the Print and Scan Doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue and tries to fix them for you and might connect the printer again. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there was a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Please take note of the results and let me know what they said.
If the connection issue still lingers, try restoring the network defaults on the printer and run the Wireless Setup Wizard again on the printer to connect to your network (make sure it's the same network the computer is connected to).
Select Setup Menu, Network Setup, Restore Network Defaults, Yes
    Restart the printer
Select the Setup Menu, Network Setup, Wireless Setup Wizard
Run the Print and Scan Doctor again.
Let me know the results, good luck

    Hi,
The SAP DBSL (dboraslib.so) will search for the Oracle client shared library in the following paths in this order of precedence:
    On 64-Bit platforms:
    a. /oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient
    b. /oracle/client/10x_64/lib
    c. /oracle/db_sw/10x_64/instantclient
    d. /oracle/db_sw/10x_64/software/lib
    On 32-Bit platforms:
    a. /oracle/client/10x_32/instantclient
    b. /oracle/client/10x_32/lib
    c. /oracle/db_sw/10x_32/instantclient
    d. /oracle/db_sw/10x_32/software/lib
If the client can't be found in the first path, then the second will be searched and so on. The instant client path is the same for Oracle Release 10.1 and 10.2. The path can only differ from 64 bit to 32 bit.
Thus, to solve your problem, create a dynamic link in the oracle client directory like this (for Unix 64-Bit):
    cd /oracle/client/10x_64
    ln -s /oracle/client/10x_64/lib lib

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus and I am unable to find drivers for MacOSX 10.4 Tiger

I bought the new Office Jet Pro 8500A plus and now I cannot install it to work with my old Imac 10.4.11???
    HP only supports 10.5 onwards???
    This is unacceptable.
Please advise how I can make this work.
    Thank you.
    Sincerely,

    Hi bhappie,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather that you are unable to connect your Officejet 8500A plus printer to your wireless network.
This printer can be connected by an ethernet cable or connected to your wireless network but cannot support both simultaneously as referenced in the document The Printer Does Not Support Ethernet (Wired) and Wireless Network Connections at the Same Time.  To setup the wireless feature you will need to unplug the ethernet cable.
Your wireless printer can be easily connected to your wireless network from the front panel of your printer.  If you are unsure how to do this the instructions can be found in your User Guide on page 219 in the section titled “To set up a wireless communication using the Wireless Setup Wizard”.
Now that the printer has a wireless connection, any computer that uses the printer, will need to have the connection method updated.  The instructions on how to do this can also be found in your User Guide on page 221 in the section titled “Change the connection method”.  There is a sub-section dedicated to Windows operating systems and one dedicated to Mac operating systems.

  • HP ENVY 4501 e-All-in-One: Unable to Find Printer

I just recently got a HP ENVY 4501 e-All-in-One.  The printer is connected wirelessly to my router but after I installed the software, it was unable to find the printer.  I have tried it on 3 different computers.  2 with Windows 7 and the other with Windows Vista.  How can I get the computers to find the printer? Also, can a  Linux system also use the printer?
    Thanks.

    Hi blanchard10,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having some installation issues.
Just so you are aware, no Linux driver is available for this printer at this time.
I do have a few steps that we can try in the attempt to install the printer on to your Windows 7 and Vista computers.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Seeing that you are attempting to install the printer with a wireless connection, we do need to have the software and drivers installed on to each computer.
Here is the HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Please make sure that you do NOT have any firewalls or anti virus protection running while doing the installation.
Save the download to the Desktop of the computers so that it creates its own icon.  This will make it easy to find the download when it is completed on each computer.  Double click the new icon and follow the installation instructions.  The installation will give you connection options.  Select wireless.
On the front panel of the printer, we will need to go through the Wireless Setup Wizard.  To get to the Wizard we will need to be on the main display of the printer and touch the Wireless icon on the top of the printer window.  Select Settings and then select the Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the instructions to connect to the network.  You will need the IP address once the printer is connected to add to each computer when prompted to do so.
Please write me back if you are still having issues or if you have any other questions.
    Cheers,

  • Unable to Find Address Without Wireless Network Co...

Nokia Maps v.2 on my phone attempts to search for an address on-line every time I enter a destination point. 99% of time it works great but only when I have wireless network coverage (I am using AT&T Wireless). However, we just went to Maine, where ATT's wireless coverage stinks. In the area where we had no wireless coverage the phone was attempting to find the address on-line and after a minute or so would return a message "unable to find the address."
Since I had Maine maps downloaded on the phone, how do I get the phone to use the databased stored on the phone instead?

Yup, an IP of 169.254....is self-assigned when it cannot get one from the router.  The WPS button does not reset the router.
Do this on the printer:   Setup > Network > Wireless Setup WIzard. Follow the instructions.

  • Unable to find Printer OfficeJet 8600

    Hello
I have a printer which work for an entire network, the network is segmented using VLANs from some VLAN I can print but for some others not, I know is not a problem with the packets routing path because form those who can not print I can ping the printer without any problem.
When installing the printer driver I get an error "Unable to find the printer". This error is displayed in those machines that are able to ping the printer.
I have already used hostname and IP to try to locate the printer but failing.
Using the Windows printer instalation wizard I can see the printer but cannot get the proper .inf file to configure it. I only get the K8600 series which is a different model.
    I need help please

Shurlee, I want you to do is re-run the wireless setup wizard on your printer. Then uninstall it, and reinstall it again using the software I am going to link you to below. From what you describe it sounds like either an installation issue or an issue with your network. If this helps feel free to mark my post by hitting the star below my name which gives me a kudos - kinda like a job well done on here.
First if you use a USB cord, make sure to remove it. Do not plug it back in until the software directs you to. Then go through the Devices and Printers, Programs and Features and Device Manager folders and insure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. Then as directed, restart the computer.
In the START menu type "%temp%" and press ENTER. Here I want you to press Ctrl+A and hit DELETE. Some of the files will not allow you to delete them, skip those files and delete the majority that allows it.
Download these files and install them. By the way these are for the N911a, but if you have the 8600 Plus or Premium you will need different drivers.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=4323659
Install that and let me know the result!

  • 5512 all in one wireless; unable to find printer from my laptop

Last week we had to replace our wireless modem.  Yesterday was the first day we needed to print something. The printer was showing it was "offline" on my laptop and my son's laptop. It hadn't been connected to the new modem, so I did that. It shows a wireless connection and good signal strength. After that our laptops still showed it was offline.  Another laptop doesn't show the printer is offline but we get an "unable to print" error message. I decided I would uninstall the printer from my laptop and then reinstall it (I'd had this issue before and this worked) but now it says there's no printer found when trying to add it back.  Any ideas???

    Hello LLHRN07,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue when it comes to connecting the printer to the new wireless router.
I suggest that you try to run the Wireless setup Wizard from the printer. To do so, please go to the front panel on the printer, use the right arrow and go to the SetUp Menu.  Use the right arrow again and select the Wireless Menu. From here, go to the Wireless SetUp Wizard and follow the prompts to connect to the new router.
If you have any issues, or any other questions, please feel free to write me back.
