SIM Error - Unable to find screen - Create Item Ticket and Signer error
Hi,
When I bring up the SIM application from Eclipse, everything works normally.
But I navigate to ITEM TICKET SCREEN, and here when i click on Create , to create an Item Ticket,
ideally It should open the Item Ticket Detail Screen,
instead it throws an error,
2013-01-14 11:30:16,855 ERROR [AWT-EventQueue-1][application.NavigationManager] Unable to find screen: oracle.retail.sim.shared.swing.itemticket.ItemTicketDetailScreen
and the screen is not opened, it just maintains the current screen which is ITEM TICKET LIST SCREEN,
but this is present in Navigation.xml screen and then i am able to find it in one for the project folders,
Any idea why exactly I am getting this issue, any way to make it work fine.
it was working sometime back, and i dont think any change regarding this has been made.
sim version :13.2
in a totally un-realted scenario (that's what I think, there is one more class "NEWRetailItemSearchProcessor", for this I get an exception,
signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package
I have two questions,
1. Is it because of the signer Issue, I am getting the other error -"*Unable to find screen: oracle.retail.sim.shared.swing.itemticket.ItemTicketDetailScreen*"
2. How do I resolve the signer issue,
it says,
class "oracle.retail.sim.closed.simclient.editor.NEWRetailItemSearchProcessor"'s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package
but in this package "oracle.retail.sim.closed.simclient.editor" -- there is no other class except the one mentioned NEWRetailItemSearchProcessor

Edited by: 924506 on 14 Jan, 2013 3:53 AMto fix the signer issue
1) open the jar which contains required class file( i mean the one which gets called when u click on item tick button)
in winrar software
2) and remove below files
manifest.mf and mykey.sf or somthing.sf
then resign your jar and deploy it.
i hop this would work fine.
some time what happen when we sign the jar it does not removes old sign instead removing it enter one more entry in that file
hence it has two entry.
its better to follow above steps. -
Find Supply Demand Form Left Mouse Button Behavior
Release 11.5.10.2, 10G database.
A customer has a strange mouse behaviour issue In the ASCP -> Supply/Demand form that the began after installing Demantra.
The mouse cursor is returning to the original location that it was just before the user attempted to click in another field.
If the customer uses custom folder, the problem is less apparent in that they can select additional fields in the folder's form..
There is a Note.753324.1 ''Diagnosing Form Mouse Focus Problems In Applications R11i" that suggests a few options; but the this customer is on forms 6.0.8.28.0 and it is unclear if the issue in that note applies in this case.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get to the root of this issue or have seen it before and have a solution?

Edited by: Bob Marchant on Apr 13, 2013 6:57 AMJames,
Sorry I am so lengthy. The problem is that with the technical support guy on line, when the Mouse button 4 event occurred I described to the tech that I was pushing and pulling the mouse from the back end to avoid touching the buttons on the side and every time I rolled the mouse a few inches forward the dashboard assigned to mouse button 4 appeared and next when I rolled it back the dashboard disappeared, I rolled it forward and it reappeared and so on. Then the tech wanted me to click on the apple and go into system preferences and as my cursor touched the file menu to get to the preferences that menu dropped without me left clicking the mouse. As I passed over edit and view they just dropped down.
What do you make of that? I am presently running OSX leopard without my printer and scanner installed. If I see no problem in two days, I will plug in the printer and install it. Then after that the scanner and see if the problem happens. I will follow your suggestions about relearning the mouse though.

Unable to find conditions in item level of STO PO
Hi All ,
The user raised Stock transfer PO(UB) between plant Xand Y in same company code , doc type UB
assigned to pricing schema XYZ.. in customizing . However conditions and pricing procedure are not picking in PO item .
Please help us.
Regards,
AmarHi,
Please check the settings in 'Define Condition control at plant level' in the path IMG-MM-Purchasing-Conditions.
Here, if you have maintained '+' against your plant then it is mandatory to create Inforecords specific to the plant....which you may not have created in your case as it is transfer within the same plant.
This may be the reason why the conditions are not getting reflected......just see if you can blank that field in the above setting and test the PO creation.
I hope the other configs (in particular the 'Determination of calculation schema in purchasing') are all properly done and defined.

Bob MarchantThx a lot for ur help dr.
I have activated the material transaction interface and now the stock quantity has decreased.
I just wish to confirm some points in the creation of the new Order Type.
I have done the following setups:
Order Category: Mixed
Transaction type code: Order
Fulfillment Flow: Order Flow - Generic
Line workflow assignment: BO Line - Inventory Interface
Default return line type: Credit Only Line
Default order line type: BO Line - Inventory Interface
Plz confirm if the setups parameters are ok especially the Default return line type: Credit Only Line
Thanks a lot dr. -
Item - Supply demand Concurrent program error
I wish to find out the supply and demand for the item, like how it is displayed in the VIEW SUPPLY/DEMAND form of the inventory module.
I have read the below thread and modified the code that I got from it.
item supply/demand - basics on calculation
The code that I am using is below:
DECLARE
l_seq_num NUMBER := 0;
l_session_id NUMBER;
l_count NUMBER;
cutoff_date_j NUMBER;
l_total_temp VARCHAR2 (30);
l_avail_qty_temp VARCHAR2 (30);
CURSOR c1
IS
SELECT inventory_item_id
FROM mtl_system_items_b
WHERE organization_id = 204 AND inventory_item_id = 1;
BEGIN
fnd_global.apps_initialize (1072, 50346, 401);
inv_globals.set_org_id (204);
SELECT TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'j')
INTO cutoff_date_j
FROM DUAL;
FOR i IN c1
LOOP
IF (inv_tm.launch ('INXDSD'
, 'GROUP_ID='
|| TO_CHAR (l_seq_num) -- Always going to be 0
|| ' '
|| 'ORGANIZATION_ID='
|| TO_CHAR (204)
|| ' '
|| 'INVENTORY_ITEM_ID='
|| TO_CHAR (i.inventory_item_id)
|| ' '
|| 'ONHAND_SOURCE='
|| TO_CHAR (3) --1 ATP Only, 2 For Net Subinventories, 3 all subinvs
|| ' '
|| 'CUTOFF_DATE="'
|| TO_CHAR (cutoff_date_j)
|| '" '
|| 'MRP_STATUS='
|| TO_CHAR (1)
|| ' '
|| 'ONHAND_FIELD=l_total_temp'
|| 'AVAIL_FIELD=l_avail_qty_temp'
, l_total_temp
, l_avail_qty_temp
) = FALSE
THEN
DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line ('FAILED');
ELSE
DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line ('SUCCESS');
DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line (l_total_temp);
DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line (l_avail_qty_temp);
INSERT INTO xx_mtl_supply_demand_temp
SELECT *
FROM mtl_supply_demand_temp
WHERE seq_num = 0;
END IF;
END LOOP;
BEGIN
DELETE mtl_supply_demand_temp
WHERE seq_num = 0;
EXCEPTION
WHEN OTHERS
THEN
NULL;
END;
inv_utilities.do_sql ('commit');END;
Now this code is populating my temporary table perfectly, the issue that I am facing is that each time this query is run it adds the same number of records, despite the fact that there are no rows in mtl_supply_demand_temp table corresponding to inventory_item_id =1.
I will explain this situation elaborately below.
1. The number of rows into xx_mtl_supply_demand_temp after the first run is 240.
2. I verify that these rows do not exist in mtl_supply_demand_temp table and delete all rows from xx_mtl_supply_demand_temp table.
3. I run the anonymous block again, now I get 480 rows.
4. This process continues and I get 720, 960, ......(keeps adding 240 rows after every run) records.
I need to get only 240 records after every run.
Why is this happening ? How can I correct this ?1009226 wrote:

ERR-1002:unable to find item id for item page_id in applicattion 103
Hi all,
I am a newbie to htmldb with ajax.
My problem is this..
when my javscript calls an on demand process like
------ var get = new htmldb_Get(null,document.getElementById('pFlowId').value,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=pull_contents',0);
-------var id_value = get_check_box_value(document.wwv_flow.f01);
-------get.add('page_id',id_value);
--------var greturn =get.get(null);
process-PULL_CONTENTS
declare
begin
owa_util.mime_header('text/xml', FALSE );
htp.p('Cache-Control: no-cache');
htp.p('Pragma: no-cache');
owa_util.http_header_close;
for rec in(select blob_content as "contents" from obe.file_subjects where id =12)
loop
htp.prn(rec.contents);
end loop;
end;
i get an error in the return text like
ERR-1002:unable to find item id FOR ITEM "PAGE_ID" IN application 103
what can be the problem?Hello,
Your going to have to reproduce it on htmldb.oracle.com, it will be much easier to help you out.
The htmldb_Get() 'is included' on every page by default unless you've done something like comment out the header section of your page template. Look at your page source you should see something like
<script src="/i/javascript/htmldb_html_elements.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/i/javascript/htmldb_get.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
in the header section.
Make sure you page template has the #HEAD# substituion tag.

Inconsistent view - Item Supply/Demand form
We are seeing an unexplained difference between the On Hand and Available values on the Item Supply/Demand form. Opened TAR with Oracle Support, they said the difference is the move orders that we have allocated. The form does not show the move order, since they are not supply/demand BUT it does subtract the allocated quantity from on-hand since the material is not available. Oracle has suggested a custom report be run, any other suggestions, short of re-writing the form?
I'm sure you know the only place to see the detail is in the pending transactions form. Have you considered building a custom zoom, or an extension, from the supply/demand form to the pending transactions form that will find the relevent pending transactions? Not a fix, but at least you can stay in the same screen.
I agree the form needs to show the allocated material, but I doubt that will happen any time soon. -
Item supply/demand - basics on calculation
Hi,
can anyone help me find out more documentations or understandings on Item Supply/Demand form in the Inventory, like how the calculations are done in that form, where it's pulling the data from, which tables,...things like that.
Is it available in oracle user guides at all?

ChitraI tried using the same code used by the form in SQL. It worked. The only issue is that the ATP group Id specific to this request is not populating appropritely. It is always populating as 0. If I register as concurrent program probably it will populate correctly. This is required in order to delete the rows correctly belonging to that session from the mtl_supply_demand_temp at the end of the session.
You can try that if you are Ok with that approach. This way you do not have worry about finding out the tables to query. Here is that I did.

As you can see I have to use seq_num as zero it was always populating as zero in this table where as from form it populates correctly.
Since this is a function, probably you can use this in discoverer queuries (I am not sure). Then query this custom table (mirror of mtl_supply_demand_temp) to show the report.

How does Item Supply/demand form get populated?

--SathishThank you for the response guys, but the actual issue for me is that there are duplicate rows for the same order number and item in MRP Work bench Supply/demand form of Purchasing User Responsibility although there are only single rows for them when viewed from the inventory responsibility. So, Could you please help me finding out the reason behind why there is duplicate data in the MRP supply/demand form??
Thanks in advance

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:
{ sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR..; sudo chown -R $UID:staff ~ $_; sudo chmod -R u+rwX ~ $_; chmod -R -N ~ $_; } 2>&-
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take a few minutes to run, or perhaps longer if you have literally millions of files in your home folder. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if it frightens you, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password dialog will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
In the dialog, select the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if it's not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if it's not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.

THECLOB CLOB
The query just took the CLOB content and divided it into table of varchar2(4000) base on chr(10). The query worked well in PL/SQL when I replaced htp with dbms_output.
The branching was the default one, "Redirect To Page 11 (the same page)". I only created one region, one item and one button. That branching was automatically created.
Below was the output when I turned on the debug mode.

Unable to find Searchable Item in Query Criteria Map
Hi ,
Am try to personalize Advacned Search Region to Include new search Criteria in R12 iSupplier Portal->Home->Orders Tab->Advanced search.
Am trying to create new search field in the Add another row field through personalization.
I have created new row criteria,when am trying to create Query Criteria Map,Am unable to list the Searchable Item as it is Drop down list.
This causing unable to query the records based on the newly created row criteria item.
Please advise.
Thansk<Sarath.Hi Jobnish,
There is no code in this requirement.
There is no error...Issue is unable to query data based on newly create criteria row in Advanced search.
I can give you navigation:
iSupplier Portal->Home->Orders Tab->Press advanced search Region
Click on the Personalize Page(I hope you know how to enable the personalize link using profile option).
In SupplierRN ->Advanced Search Criteria and creating custom item Criteria Row..
We need to map this field in Advanced Query Mapping.
However the issue is the Am unbale find the Searchable item (which is created in Criteria Row) in the drop downlist.
I can provide screen-shot if you need.
Thanks,Sarath. -
Item Supply Demand and Purchase Orders
Hi All,
I am facing strange issues -
1: Purchaser changes Need By and Promise Date in Purchase Order. But when we query item in Supply/Demand, it shows old dates.
2: There are few items where purchase orders are not shows.
I verified that -
1: Planning Manager is running
2: The Subinventory on Purchase Order is Nettable
3: PO is approved
Appreciate any pointers on this please.1009226 wrote:

MTL_SUPPLY_DEMAND_TEMP Table Is Too Large [ID 182490.1]

I'm testing the waters prior to upgrading a customer application from APEX 3.0.0.00.20 to 4.0.2.00.07.
The application has been exported from the APEX 3.0 environment on a 4.0 instance on a different server. Both databases are 10.2.0.4.0 EE.
A on navigating—via a standard tab—to a page containing only conditional On Load: Before Header branches, the branches are failing with
Unexpected error, unable to find item name at application or page level.
Error: ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "p810_status" in application "121". This is caused by the branch action having Set these items item names specified in lower case:
p810_status,p810_read_onlyThe error is resolved by changing these item names to UPPER CASE.
This is not a disaster. Using APEX views I can see that there are only a handful of branches specifying item names in lower case so it won't require major effort to fix this app when it's upgraded for real.
However, (a) I am aware that there are other places in this app where item names are specified in lower case; and (b) I tend to type most of my development stuff in lower case, so I'd like clarification on this issue.
<li>Is this a known issue? (Can't find any earlier mention of this on OTN, MOS or web)
<li>Is this expected behaviour in APEX 4.x or a bug?
<li>If a bug is it fixed in 4.1?
<li>Is there a change in APEX 4.0 requiring branch item (and other?) references to be uppercase? If so, where is this documented?
I notice that it works OK when the same item values are specified in the URL using lowercase item names.
Bumped by: fac586 on 08-Mar-2012 15:51
I noticed that APEX 4.0.2 has converted all branches to use the [now] late, lamented "Set value before branching" option. Is this significant? Obviously this won't occur if upgrading to 4.1.
Edited by: fac586 on 12-Mar-2012 15:14Hi Lukx,
Thank you for reporting this. You have hit upon an issue with this page, for which I have filed Oracle bug #11840642. To get around this in the meantime, you can see page specific changes by going to:
1) The 'Page Definition' page for the page you want to see recent edits.
2) Go to 'Utilities > History'. This will show you recent actions for components on the current page.
Hope that helps and thanks again for catching this.
Regards,
Anthony.
