Based on the provided information, please follow the steps below and try to install BCM again:
Please try to turn off the firewall temporarily.
Launch Windows in clean boot mode to run setup. (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135)
If the problem persists, try to repair or re-install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express then run setup again.

Unable to access BCM 2010 DB with Outlook 2010 after running compatibility pack for Outlook 2013

After reading about the Description of Business Contact Manager compatibility pack for Outlook at this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2793723 it clearly states "Business Contact Manager for Microsoft Outlook is a compatibility pack that enables
Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 and Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2010 to run in Microsoft Outlook 2010 and Microsoft Outlook 2013. Business Contact Manager for Outlook (BCM) also supports using Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 in a side-by-side
installation." This link also states "General product fixes, including stability and performance improvements."
So, I was hoping for some stability and performance improvements but desired to continue running from Outlook 2010. After running this downloaded compatibility pack it had little messages other than completed. If I try to run it again it says the database
is already updated. however, now I cannot open the BCM DB in Outlook 2010. when I try to connect to it from Outlook 2010 BCM it only opens a small window with no message, only a yellow exclamation sign. It also won't allow me to restore the
back up.
Can I undo what the compatibility pack program did to my BCM 2010 DB?
Now it won't allow me to restore a DB from two days ago. It gives this error "Access is denied due to a password failure. RESTORE FILELIST is terminating prematurely". I know the password is correct.
Please help, anyone? Now I'm starting to freak out a bit. I am going to reinstall BCM and pray.
I was able to restore the two day old DB by not entering a password. Odd since I know I backed up using a password.

Trouble intalling Pro XI on a MAC

I purchased Pro XI for A Mac running OS X, but have been unable to intall it. In some cases the installer image was not recognized, so would not open. When the image was recognized, it intalled, but the installer did not open. Got a soln?

Cannot install OSX Mavericks on macbook air disk

I am unable to intall Mavericks due to an unknown error. I have tried restarting, using disk utility to perform a repair, but no change. I cannot find any information on why this error is occuring or how to solve it. The macbook air is the latest version. The screenshots below are the initial error and then after clicking 'back' and returning to the screen it shows the error on the right. Any thoughts?

Then the hard drive is corrupted. You will need to erase it then reinstall:
Install or Reinstall Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
      left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
        the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
      the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
            because it is three times faster than wireless.

I have Hp compaq Elite 8300 Desktop, in this system having pirated operating system but i want to replace it with original operating system and i had original recovery software CD's to. I am trying to install with the CD's but unable to intall please help me for this issue.

Crystal Reports Software Installation Issue

When I try to install Crystal reports on my Dell Optiplex 780 running Win XP SP3, 3.5 GB ram, with Adobe 9 installed and License accepted I get Error 1713 unable to intall one of it's required products. What do I need to do to complete the installation?

Error 713 is a generic Microsoft install error. E.g.; google the error, see if any of the suggestions apply. Also, use the search string 'Error 1713 crystal' in the search box at the top right corner of this web page. See if any of the results there help. E.g.;

Windows error code 14

Sadly When i try to use spotify since after the update .. which seem to be faulty on my endso i close the progamand get installing spotifybut than the Error 14 pops up The intsller is unable to intall spotify because the files to write are in use by another process. Please make sure spoitify is not running and retry. (Error code 14) so after bringing up task manager and check for any running spotify apps expept for the intaller and find none.. i hit retry Were it just hangs ... until a reset and it loops al over againis there a way to disable the update ?

ERROR 14 FILES IN USE.. this bug is now over 2 years old and still we ave having to do geeky maunal workarounds in windows 7 I have had to manually intervene with 1.01, all the way through to 1.06 and today once more for 1.07 Will spotify ever be arsed to write an updater that just works, and that does not run from appdata or from appdata local, or will we all be on windows 19 before that happens? My current fix is to look for whatever the latset installer is called & for wheretis currently hidden ( the last couple have been hidden in an update sub folder of appdata local spotiy ), and COPY that file to desktop. BEFORE clicking " just restart spotify" and watiching it bomb out with error 14. then kill the failed update with task manager and run the installer from desktop, which then usually works. why we have to go through this rigmarole when any other software on the planet is able to instll updates in windwos 7 sensibly and reliably is beyond me . could we at least , for variety, have a meaningful error message to entertain ourselves , as that one is just a lie. looking in windows ask manager after 1=error 14 has appeared can proves that no other spotiy processes are runnign and yet RETRY will just cause install to installer to infinitely hang until euthanised. NB the days whtn the installer was always called spotify_new.exe and lived in appdata/spotify are gone. Now each version's installer has a cryptic nom-de-jour, and a new hiding place in local appdata , for added hide n seek fun

420 Pro USB

Can anyone help solve a USB problem I am having with my K7n420Pro board?
i am trying to get a Roland XV5050 sound module connected using USB but when I try to do this I get a 'USB device not recognised' message and am unable to intall the drivers. Theres nothing wrong with the Roland as it is recognised fine on a different computer using the same USB cable.
Possibly related is the fact that in the device manager under 'Other devices' is a Network controller with a big yellow question mark on it, not sure why this is. Apparently no drivers are installed for this network controller but I have just installed the Nforce 2.03 package so not sure why this should be.
The other thing that may be related is that I am unable to turn on USB Keyboard support in the BIOS (Vs 2.4) If I enter the screen to do this it just locks up and I have to reboot.
My system: 1.8 Athlon, 128Mb RAM, Win XP SP1, ONboard graphics and sound.

Well, it looks like you have quite a few items piling up on IRQ 5 and 11. Ever thought of turning on your APIC option in your BIOS? It will expand your available IRQs to 22 instead of 15 and may clear up whatever congestion you have.
FAIR WARNING: TO get it to work, you will have to either
a) reinstall WIndows XP from scratch afterwards so it will take advantage of the extra IRQs, or
b) use a workaround thats been used here involving changing the desired HAL and "repairing" Windows XP.
If you are interesting in doing either then write back here and I will happily type in the method for doing that.

SAP BCM - Issues with CDT client workstation - unable to dial out

Hi folks,
This is a new install. Just got to the part where CDT is now working on a users desktop. Trying to establish an internal call to prove this part works. But cannot complete a dial string as the call button does not show up, is greyed out.
The keypad opens up and a number can be input , but it looks like the enter the dial string you should press CALL.
Enter or return does nothing
The call button shows as ALT C if you hover over it. Using ALT C instead does not work.
Any ideas what may be missing to complete this ?

Unable to Logon to the SAP System after Installing SAPNW2004sSneakPreviewAB

   I Installed SAPNW2004sSneakPreviewABAP.
   If i am trying to run the NSP Server it first Starting (Showing Blue Color ) and after few seconds it is becoming Yellow in Color. When i cross checked in Process list it is showing one of the process in yellow color i.e.
disp+work.EXE whose description is Dispatcher
and Status is showing as "Running but Dialog Queue standstill"
May be because of this i am unable to log on the SAP System.
One more thing i got a licence key from SAP but when i am trying to intall licence key using saplicence -install this is also not working it is showing following error message.

Unable to get Compiz Fusion working...

I'm aware this isn't a new issue, but the Wiki has so far been unable to solve my queries.
I've just freshly installed Arch on my new PC: Pentium-D 3.8Ghz, 2Gb of RAM and an ATi Radeon X1950 Pro (PCI-E).
I've installed Compiz Fusion as suggested via the wiki. When I run the fusion icon and activate compiz, I am left with no window borders and no working compiz. I've followed the troubleshooting section on the wiki to no avail. The problem remains.

ITunes was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services

Hi,
I have Iphone 3GS with the latest version 3.1.3 and iTunes 9.1. After i uograded my iPhone to the latest version i am not able to sync with the iTunes and receive the message "iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services, Reconnect or Try later". I am using Windows XP with Symantec Endpoint protection.
I have tried following steps to troubleshoot the problem but all my attempts have failed,
1. Uninstall iTunes by Removing, iTunes, QuickTime, BonJour, iPhone congiguration Utility and Bonjour. Remove all the iTunes and related folder from the C:/ drive
2. Restart the computer and intall the latest version of iTunes and Quicktime
3. Restore the iPhone to the factory settings using iTunes
4. Restart the system as well as hard Boot the iPhone (Hold Start and Wake/Sleep Button)before connecting again
5. Repeat the Steps 1 and 2 after restoring the iPhone
I am still getting the same error and now I can't even open the first page for iPhone in iTunes when I connect it to my computer. All my content is still in iTunes but everything is lost on the iPhone.
I searched the Apple support and they talk about problem with the Symantec Endpoint. I have the latest version of Symantec endpoint way above what is mentioned on the Apple support page.
Can someone please help me, it seems restore worked for most of the people facing this issue, but for me even restore is not working.

I got a present of an itouch. This is my first time back to apple after 5 years. I cant get my itouch to sync due to dataclass error on Windows XP pro. I have installed the latest version of itunes 9.2.1.
WHAT IS THE POINT IN OWNING A DEVICE FOR PLAYING MUSIC WHEN YOU CANT LOAD THE MUSIC !!!!!
Does anyone have a solution or alternatively (shock horror) Apple could actually get its AR*E in gear and fix the problem. I would also suggest that Apple would post a friggen solution on its website, but no that may be too much to ask.
very frustrated. any help gratefully received otherwise the touch gets thrown out.
