Unable to invoke a webservice from OdiInvokeWebService

Hi,
I have created a sample web service and deployed it on the axis2/tomcat server. I am able to invoke the webservice by the OdiInvokeWebService tool by its wsdl.
But my intention is to deploy the webservice on Weblogic Server and accomplish the same. On trying it i got the following error:

How do i deploy a webservice on Weblogic Server and call it from the OdiInvokeWebService ??

Did you solve this problem?

    I have a simple EJB with one business method and a very simple BPEL process.
    @Stateless(name = "GreetingEJB", mappedName = "GreetingEJB-GreetingEJB-GreetingEJB")
    @WebService
    public class GreetingEJBBean implements GreetingEJB {
    public GreetingEJBBean() {
    public String greetUser(String name){
    return ("Hello " + name);
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I haven't tried from a BPEL process, but I have had success (as in Lucas's blogs) of using services and references as EJB Java Interface. This is with EJB java interfaces solely of base types (i.e. String foo(String s)).
    At high level here's what I have noted so far:
    1. Per Lucas's blog, @javaInterface is not being added to the ejb.binding automatically but it's not clear to me when this is and is not required given that interface.java is specified for the reference or service. Would interface.java and @javaInterface ever be different? I've been adding @javaInterface manually anyways since Lucas is a smart guy and I'd rather avoid errors. :-)
    2. Dropping an EJB interface jar in SCA-INF/lib works, but I've had the problem that the JDeveloper SOA Plugin doesn't see those classes until I stop and restart JDeveloper. Until then, I'm confronted with the java->wsdl mapping error. I was sort of primed to figure this one out since I ran into similar issues with SOA SpringBean components.
    3. Dropping EJB interface source in SCA-INF/src is more reliable, because then I can build the project (i.e. create SCA-INF/classes) and the JDeveloper SOA Plugin seems to resolve these brand new classes immediately.
    4. I've tried to invoke an EJB java-interface reference with a slightly complicated java interface (a class parameter with some fields, one of which is an array of another class). The auto-generated WSDL doesn't look exactly right to me (but I'm new to JAXB). Mediator maps to it just fine and the project compiles and deploys normally but fails at runtime. I have not researched in depth. It's not clear to me from the documentation and release notes whether I should expect for it to work, or whether I should expect to have to create my own JAXB mapping. If the latter, I really need a good example!

  • Problems Invoking Ebiz Webservice from 11g FMW Serve

    Hi All,
    We need to invoke a Webservice deployed on Ebiz host from 11g FMW Server in our PIP.
    I created a simple BPEL process to invoke Ebiz Webservice and deployed the bpel process on 11g Server.

    I'm using Weblogic 7.0.
    You must use two jars:
    - webserviceclient+ssl.jar, which you can find somewhere in the
    weblogic distribution, and
    - the jar containing the proxy classes, which is created by the
    tool jwsCompile when you compile the webservice (edited with Workshop). For this
    latter you may follow the instructions in
    http://e-docs.bea.com/workshop/docs70/help/index.html#guide/
    tutorial/tutFirstWebServiceIntro.html at step 8
    Still, if you happen to understand what my problem is, hints for
    me are really welcome.

  • Unable to invoke ReadProject WebService on a HTTPS environment

    Hi,
    I have customized Ms Project Server 2010 to invoke PSI WebService in the checkin event handler.
    The code works very well in a HTTP environment. However, it doesn't work in HTTPS environment. The following message is displayed on accessing the service in HTTPS environment
    The server was unable
    to process the request due to an internal error.  For more information
    about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from
    ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration
    behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the
    client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SDK
    documentation and inspect the server trace logs
    I am unable to trace logs to find out the root cause of this issue. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

    HTTP 401 means the server running on specified URL may have HTTP Basic Authentication enabled. Please cross-check whether this is the case and if yes then configure the same in composite. BTW, "01hw331924" seems to be a familiar host name. ;)

    This is very simple maybe you don't have servlet experience.
    Simply you create a servlet and put your client main method in another one (not static method) + importing jar of your client and other associated jar files in WEB_INF\lib folder of servlet.
    check for helloworld servlet then you can implement servlet for your client.

    Hi,
    Iam not that much familliar with using webmethods Integration server. But generally wen you are using a tool to Create webservices it will generate WSDL(Webservice Description file) and Client access classes. The Client access class contains the code for accessing the webservice. You can develop Clients by importing this class. The other way is you can use the WSDL to connect to the Webservice. WSDL file includes the End point URL (the location where to connect to access the webservice). By connecting to this URL you can access the webservice.
    Few sites which help you in getting more info on Webservices are:
    http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/
    http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/

  • SOA Suite 11.1.1.4.0 - Unable to invoke REST service from BPEL

    I am supposed to call the following REST URL:

    In order to achieve this:
    1. I created an empty composite

         2.1 In the HTTP Binding wizard, I copied the above URL in 'Endpoint'
         2.2 Operation Name --> request-response
         2.3 Verb --> GET
         2.4 Created XSD for Req and resp and added those in 'Messages'

    Hi Abinap.
    If you are woking with JEE 1.3 or JAX-RPC.
    You need to add some libraries to java project.
    Go to the tab "Add Libraries" on context menu of the project: Properties --> Java build Path
    Select "Add variable" button, after select the SAP_WEBSERVICES_EXT_LIBS_HOME variable and click on "Extend" Button, finally select all the libraries under lib folder, do the same to the SAP_XML_TOOLKIT_LIBS_HOME variable.
    Greetings.

  • Unable to invoke BPEL HelloWorld from Oracle PL/SQL

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke a BPEL process (HelloWorld) from Oracle PL/SQL package. I have downloaded the standard "demo_soap.sql" from oracle.com. Find below the PL/SQL block that I am using to invoke to the HelloWorld.
    DECLARE
    req Demo_Soap.request;
    resp Demo_Soap.response;
         zipcode VARCHAR2(100) := 'Suresh';
    BEGIN
    req := Demo_Soap.new_request('initiate',
    'xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorld"');
    Demo_Soap.add_parameter(req, 'HelloWorldProcessRequest', 'xsd:string', zipcode);
    resp := Demo_Soap.invoke(req,
    'http://nooslux037t.gl.2wglobal.com:7777/BPELConsole/Dev/displayProcess.jsp?processId=HelloWorld',
    'http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorld');
    END;
    But, it gives the following error message.
    ORA-30625: method dispatch on NULL SELF argument is disallowed
    Please let me know the value that I need to set:
    1. Method name
    2. TargetName space
    3. URL
    4. SOAPaction.
    Please help me in finding the cause for this error and also the solution.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Is there any pre-requiste required for running the Webservice PL/SQL client?
    I tried running the BPEL process as per your input.
    DECLARE
    req demo_soap.request;
    resp demo_soap.response;
         zipcode VARCHAR2(100) := 'XYZ';
    BEGIN
    req := demo_soap.new_request('initiate', 'http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorld');
    demo_soap.add_parameter(req, 'ZipCode', 'xsd:string', zipcode);
    resp := demo_soap.invoke(req, 'http://nooslux037t.gl.2wglobal.com:7777/orabpel/Dev/HelloWorld/1.0','initiate');
    END ;
    But it threw the following error:
    ORA-20000: soapenv:Server.userException - org.xml.sax.SAXException: No custom elements allowed at top level until after the <body> tag
    I have copied my HelloWorld WSDL file for your reference.

  • Unable to invoke .asmx webservice

    Hi I am trying to Invoke an .asmx wsdl.
    When I have pasted the below url in my partner link I have got the exception as :
    "FAULT_CODE: OTHER_ERROR : Failed to read WSDL from http://01hw331924/MyService/GISIntgrtionService.asmx?wsdl"
    But it has given the below error while testing: HTTP Connection Error Code is 401.
    When I have opened through browser the WSDL has opened properly.
    So I have copied the WSDL in my local directory and developed a BPEL service.
    But when I try to test the below error has occurred.
    Non Recoverable System Fault :
    <bpelFault><faultType> <message>0</message></faultType><remoteFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension"><part name="summary"><summary>oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException: Unable to access the following endpoint(s): http://01hw331924/MyService/GISIntgrtionService.asmx</summary></part><part name="detail"><detail>Unable to access the following endpoint(s): http://01hw331924/MyService/GISIntgrtionService.asmx</detail></part><part name="code"><code>401</code></part></remoteFault></bpelFault>
    I have unchecked the proxy settings in Jdeveloper too. But still I am facing the issue.
    Please help
    Thanks,
    dbp

    HTTP 401 means the server running on specified URL may have HTTP Basic Authentication enabled. Please cross-check whether this is the case and if yes then configure the same in composite. BTW, "01hw331924" seems to be a familiar host name. ;)

  • Unable to invoke Webmethods webservice

    Hi ,
    I have received a wsdl file from Webmethods tem which i need to use.
    Since i dont have a url i used the wsdl locally and got the model created and executing the webservice.
    Problem :
    Since i am using the wsdl locally the server is unable to find it at runtime and saying file not found exception for the wsdl file.
    Can we register the wsdl file as such in service registry of CE7.1 or do we need to have the url for the wsdl as mandatory.
    IS there any other solution???
    Regards,
    Aditya

    Hi Aditya,
    Follow the steps of this blog:
    XI : How To publish WSDL generated from XI to UDDI
    From step 5 you have a WSDL URL to use into your application.

  • Invoking LC webservices from VB6 where "invoke" is reserved word

    Hi everyone:
    I'm making some poceses tests on one customer (We are running a proof of concept and  positioning LC technology ) who wants to invoke LC PDF-G orchestrated services using the WS endpoint from an VB6 app.
    When the VB6 app creates the proxy object to call the invoke method  exposed by the LC orchestrated process an compilation error occurs,
    apparently invoke is a "reserved word" for internal use in VB6, so it doesn't works...
    If we try to invoke an out-of-the-box LC service from a VB6 app via the WS API all works fine!
    This is part of our code:
    SERVICE = ""
    Port = ""
    WSDL = "http://172.26.45.195:8080/soap/services/getReportTitle?WSDL"
    Set objSoap = New  MSSOAPLib30.SoapClient30
    objSoap.ClientProperty("ServerHTTPRequest") = True
    Call objSoap.MSSoapInit(WSDL,  SERVICE, Port)
    objSoap.ConnectorProperty("AuthUser") =  "administrator"
    objSoap.ConnectorProperty("AuthPassword") =  "password"
    Resultado =  objSoap.Invoke("1")
    An we attache the VB error.
    How to solve this problem...??
    Thanks in advance,
    Diego.

    That's going to be tricky because any custom LC processes has a default method of invoke.  You may be able to "reflect" it by creating a java service that lives on the LC server.  That java service can call the LC application and could be called by the VB6 app.
    On the other hand, I though Microsoft end-of-life for VB6 was back in March 2008 - so you may want to push them into using a .Net version.
