Unable to load Cell Text (Memo A/c) from FDM to HFM..?

Hi All,
I am unable to load Cell Text (Memo a/c) from FDM to HFM. We use Import>validate>export function and use Upsload fucntion in the file to import the data. No errors are shown whilst loading the file and everything gets load except these Memo accounts The issue never arose when we were on version 11.1.1.3. We have recently migrated to 11.1.2.1. I have also checked Application Integration Settings where Cell Text is ticked as enabled.
Can someone help please..
Thanks,
Maneesh

  • How to load Cell Text (~8000 bytes) in HFM from a Flat File using FDMEE?

    Hi,
    There are numerous posts on OTN describing how to load cell text using the Create Memo API. However, we are struggling to know how do we use FDMEE to load Cell text which is about 8000 bytes from a flat file?
    Basically HFM gives us the flexibility to enter a Free-Form Cell Text with default size of 8000 bytes (which may be increased). However, when we try to manupilate FDMEE and load this to HFM, there is no place-holder/column in FDMEE Staging tables that has sufficient size to place such a long text. All the ATTR are not more than 20 bytes and UDx columns are only 75 bytes.
    Has anyone faced a similar issue and built a workaround for this problem?
    Thanks!

  • How to load cell text (cell comment) information in Planning

    Hi All,
    My client is moving from an old budgeting system to Hyperion planning as their budgeting tool. Thats why they want to load the historical budgeting data from the old system to Hyperion planning. One of their requirement is to load historical cell comments from old system to Hyperion Planning. They will be providing us the intersections as well as the cell comment in excel/csv file. I am just wondering how to load that information in one go from excel to hyperion planning. Is there any way to do that. Please help.
    Regards
    Arijit

    Planning backend has HSP_CELL_NOTE, HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM tables. By using objectIds for the intersections from the file you can automate insertion of rows into these tables and at the end recycle the planning service.
    Hope it helps

  • Unable to load DLL access is denied (exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

    I'm consuming a 32-bit native DLL from a c# web service. Everything works fine locally in VS with IIS express. However when I deployed the site to a shared hosting provider (Server 2012 R2, IIS 7) the calls to the DLL (using platform invoke) generated an exception:
    Unable to load DLL 'dll_name.dll': Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
    I asked the hosting provider to make sure my process is running in 32-bit mode and they assured me it is.Do I need to do anything special to use native DLLs? Do I have to register native modules with the server before they can be used? Anything to be set on
    the server side to grant access to the DLL?
    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.
    Tech support tried the following:
    Ran "tasklist /m Detection.dll" It didn't return any processes that would lock the dll.
    Checked the permissions on the dll. The Network Service and app pool identity both had read/write/execute permissions. Just to make sure it wasn't permissions, they added IIS_IUSRS
    with r/w/x. Still didn't work.
    When this exception occurs, the exception.Message reads:
    Unable to load DLL 'Detection.dll': Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
    However, the exception.HRESULT value is 0x80131524 which it seems to be DLL not found. I'm not sure why there's a difference.
    I recompiled the DLL with the  DetectObject() function removed (See code snippet below), that didn't seem to make any difference (same error codes)
    If I delete the DLL from the /bin folder, I get the following message:
    Unable to load DLL 'Detection.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
    The code that calls the DLL is as follows:
    public class DllCalls

    int ArraySize = RoiRect.Length;
    byte OneByte = 0;
    IntPtr buffer = Marshal.AllocCoTaskMem(Marshal.SizeOf(OneByte) * ArraySize);
    Marshal.Copy(RoiRect, 0, buffer, RoiRect.Length);
    try
    string BaseFolder = System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("~/cascades") + "\\";
    DetPts = DllCalls.DetectObject(buffer, Rect.Height, Rect.Width, BaseFolder);
    catch (Exception e)
    LogFile.WriteLogStrg("DetectObject() caused an exception: " + e.Message + "HRESULT = " + e.HResult.ToString("X8"));
    return (null);
    int[] DetPoints = null;
    if (DetPts == 8)
    DetPoints = new int[DetPts * 2];
    Marshal.Copy(buffer, DetPoints, 0, DetPts * 2);
    Marshal.FreeCoTaskMem(buffer);
    return (DetPoints);
    The imported DLL function is as follows:
    #ifdef __cplusplus
    extern "C" {
    #endif
    __declspec(dllexport) int __stdcall DetectObject (int *CharLumaBuf, int Rows, int Cols, char *BaseFolder)

  • Applying 5 kN external force on a load cell - Force readings to start from 0 kN

    I am recording readings from an Omega Load Cell using DAQmx (Continuous bridge example) . A pre-tension force of 5 KN is applied on the load cell. Is there any way of forcing the applied pre-load force to drop to zero so the readings to start from zero?
    Thanks!

    The way you worded your question in somewhat ambiguous.
    You really do not want to remove the physical preload force, do you?
    I think what you want to do is to change the readings to account for the preload. That can be done fairly easily if you have complete control over the applied loads and know when there is no additonal load on the cell.  In the weighing (scale and balance measurements of force or mass) this process is called taring. The tare is the weight or force without the external load. At the grocery store they adjust for the weight of the container before they add your food.
    Add a Tare state to your state machine. When the user presses the Tare button on the front panel, the program takes a reading from the load cell (or several readings to be  averaged). That reading is the tare force. Place it on a shift register. Then subtract the tare force from the readings taken while the desired measurements are happening.
    If the maximum load is close to the load cell limit, the termperature of the load cell varies, or there are impact loads involved, then this simple taring approach may not be good enough. That is not because of any inherent problem with the method, but due to the things that can cause a load cell to drift or change baseline outputs.

  • Unable to load and run program in DDR from SDK

    Hello all,
    I'm starting to work with Zynq and I'm quite a noob in this field.
    I generated a system for a ZC702 board in which the connections to the DDR memory and the GPIO are correct.
    When I try to run a "Hello world" example that writes such words via serial, I'm facing the problem that I can just run it from the internal ram on the Zynq, not from the DDR. I will try to explain this with more detail.
    When I set the on-chip memory (initial address is 0x00000000) on the linker script and I run the program, the XMD console shows this:
    XMD% Processor started. Type "stop" to stop processor
    User Interrupt, Processor Stopped at 0x00101104
    Processor Reset .... DONE

    As you can see, al the addresses are correct. In this moment, the processor executes the program and everything is fine.
    Then, if I select the DDR memory (initial address: 0x00100000) on the linker script generation, the console shows:
    XMD% Processor started. Type "stop" to stop processor
    Software Breakpoint 0 Hit, Processor Stopped at 0x000015bc

    Setting PC with Program Start Address 0x00100000
     But the program is not run and the processor is like "blocked".
    There is just one scenario in which this second configuration works, and it's when the on-chip memories were previously loaded with the first configuration. This could indicate that the program counter is not pointing to the DDR, but to the on-chip memory. Then, when I select the DDR, if there is nothing on the memories of the chip, it does not execute anything.
    Does anyone have any idea of what's exactly happening and how to fix it?
    Thanks in advance!
    Ignacio.

    Hello Ignacio,
    Are you able to step through at all with the debugger to see if it gets stuck somewhere in particular?
    As a test of DDR setup itself, what happens if you link to OCM but do some pointer access directly to DDR (maybe write 0xdeadbeef to 0x10000000, readback 0x10000000, then print it)? Does it work okay?

    Solution would be easy ...like if the Essbase Agent is stopped using the services.msc (services panal)on Windows while a process is currently running, or if there has been an abnormal termination of the Essbase Agent, orphaned ESSSVR processes can be left. Shuting down the Essbase server using ESSCMD or MaxL then Check Task Manager confirm the ESSBASE.exe process later by this ESSSVR.exe processes should end if still NO then Do an "End Process" on any ESSSVR.exe process that is still running. Start the Essbase service and start the application.
    ESSSVR.exe is process which keep application Alive (bad thing is if u have many applications running similarlly u have same numbe of ESSSVr .exe will be running in task master ..but u cant find out which one belongs to which application :( )
    Reasons
    looking at your error i can say , First of all you need to know what is Lock in EAS ? and what locks exist
    (right-click on Essbase Servername, EDIT->LOCK and EDIT->LOCKED OBJECTS, and if your database/outline appears in there, unlock it.)
    Check any antivirus- and backup software that may be scanning / running on your Essbase folders as that can lock the files and any ESSSVR process stays when the Essbase Agent is stopped
    More over another chance of getting error is when you have you page and index files in different location and rest otl, rep.csc script in another drive .. usually while taking back up in OTL,csc drive u do get created index file and page file even u have page and index file in diffrent drive so doe to this u get this error unable to load database
    Hope this give u some idea

  • Is there a way to manage cell text in Hyp Planning?

    Can I delete or copy all the cell text in Hyp Planning from the planning web front, i.e. without resorting to running SQL script to delete the records?

    Hi.
    As far as I know (Planning version 9.2.0.3) there is no way to clear cell text (unless you using SQL script that running on the application RDBMS.
    Regarding copy cell text, as administrator you can copy cell text from planning web using Administration>Copy data option, you can select copy data including cell text (for example; from version to other version).

  • Web Form Cell Text Length

    We have web forms in HFM that users will export to Excel and then import back to HFM. We have modified settings in HFM to allow cell text length up to 8000 characters. However, when the users import the form back to HFM the cell text is truncated to only the first 70 characters. It is possible to enter the additional characters directly into HFM, but that defeats the purpose of exporting the forms to Excel. Is there another setting to allow the import to pass all the characters?

    As per my knowledge if a cell text is larger then 70 characters in HFM and we export the form in EXCEL it gets truncated. Same is the case when we try uploading data form from EXCEL having cell text lager than 70 characters.
    This a bug. Till now i have not received any solution for this.

  • Unable to extract HFM Cell text values i.e. Descriptions using ODI

    Hi,
    We are trying to extract the HFM 'Cell Text' values, which is defined as "Description" in the "HFMData" store in ODI into an Oracle RDBMS table using ODI. We are using the KM - "LKM Hyperion Financial management Data to SQL" for this purpose.
    We have followed every detail as defined in John goodwin's post at the below link:
    (Seems like his interface worked with "Descrption" column mapped to the target source file (pls refer the 5th screenshot in the below blog).
    http://john-goodwin.blogspot.com/2010/04/odi-series-extracting-data-from-hfm.html
    However, while we extract we get the below error message everytime we try to extract the Description field. (Without mapping the Description field we are able to extract the HFM data succesfully):

    I have the same error. And I found that the error appeared only with one specific HFM application (I my case). I can import any amount of data from other HFM Applications, but importing from the needed aplication causes the error, and also it crashes the HFM:
    Faulting application HsvDataSource.exe, version 11.1.2.3505, faulting module HsvData.dll, version 11.1.2.3505, fault address 0x000000000013d6f4.HFM server even has no time to write message to a log.
    It's strange behaviour: client can broke server.

  • Why do I get the error message "unable to load page (HTTP 502) when I try to open Mobile Web?

    I have an LG Octane 3 basic phone.   Does everything I need, phone and text, and I never was interested in web or e-mail capabilities until I recently upgraded our plan to the "More Everything" and was able to use data and check e-mail and access the internet.   Whenever I try to open Mobile Web, I get the error message "unable to load page (HTTP 502)".    As of March 31, 2015, all of us basic phone users lose the "Mobile Email" app on our phones, and will have to access web versions of our e-mail via the web.  Which is currently unavailable and doesn't work.
    Over a week ago, did a chat session with a tech support rep, and she indicated that either she or an engineer would contact me with how to fix the problem.   Have not heard anything from anybody, and the deadline is approaching quickly.   Have no need of all the excess features of a smart phone, nor do I wish to be forced to jettison a perfectly working phone for my needs and buy something I don't want to be able to do 2 simple things.............check e-mail to see if there's something that needs to be answered right away, and to check traffic reports when I'm on the road, or find something in an area with which I'm not familiar.     Not really too much to ask, you would think....   )
    Has anyone else had this same problem, and if so, how do we fix it....???  My next move is a phone call, but those haven't always been very productive.
    If any of you have any ideas why this error keeps coming up and the web can't load, and some on how to fix it, I would really appreciate some advice.
    Thanks in advance.
    Karen

    Since the chat session got no reply, I contacted Verizon by phone and a very nice level 2 tech created a trouble ticket and sent it up the food chain.  Got a call back, maybe 2 days later, and had a nice, although very long session with a higher level tech.  They had determined that the browser for the LG Octane is an old one and no longer supported by Verizon.    We tried everything we could to download the Opera browser, but since I was totally unable to get Mobile Web to work, couldn't do it.   The only other possible "fix" was to totally reset the phone to factory specs and try it again.   That would mean a lot of work on my part to move anything I didn't want to disappear off the phone, and find a place to forward texts that had to be saved.   Caught our tenants lying about why the rent was late (again), and need that for when I put them back on a lease....
    Long story short is that unless we try this total reset, which isn't a sure fix, either, anyone who isn't able to access the Mobile Web with the LG Octane will have to change their plan to avoid paying for data that you can't access using any method.
    I ran a test with an app that I knew was no longer valid.....that was sending photos to PixPlace.   Got the exact same error message as when trying to access Mobile Web to get the web version of my e-mail.   That just verified that the 502 error is, at least in the LG Octane, for an app that no longer works.   After today, we'll get the same thing when we try to access Mobile E-Mail.
    Have to admit, it's a real ****-off, but this shouldn't surprise me, since Verizon won't repair older copper phone lines if you are in an area where FIOS is offered.
    I am going to immediately change my husband's and my cell phone plan to one without data, and see what I can find that will still give unlimited calls and text.  The way my luck runs, they won't offer one for a decent price.  The other half has some very long-winded friends and he was always running over minutes, and some months are very text-heavy and I'd go over my limit.   Absolutely HATE touch screens, and am not looking forward to having to get a new phone.

  • Unable to get the Text proerty of Range class

    Hi,
    I am using the Text property of Range class for excel template development using VSTO.While reloading the template i am getting the error "Unable to get the Text proerty of Range class".If i skip this line of code,i am getting similar kind of errors while accessing the properties of Range class(like Range.copy() ,Range.Locked, Range.EntireRow.Hidden).In all these cases i am getting the similar kind of error "unable to get the property of Range Class".
    Waiting for a quick response...
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi Besse,
    Actully, the error is coming when i try to populate datatable with the the range values in one of the sheet.
    I am using the below code.
    //"wsInteropMetadata"  is the sheet object.
    //"RangeName" is the range name in the sheet.
    rngConfig = wsInteropMetadata.get_Range("RangeName", Type.Missing);
    for (int iRow = 1; iRow <= iRowCnt; iRow++)
        dRNew = dTMetadataTable.NewRow();
        for (int iCol = 1; iCol <= iColCnt; iCol++)
          rngCell = (Excel.Range)rngConfig.Cells[iRow, iCol];
          dRNew[iCol - 1] = rngCell.Text.ToString();
       dTMetadataTable.Rows.Add(dRNew);
    In the first load of the template,this code is working fine.In the reload i am getting the error at "rngCell.Text".If i see in quickwatch,most of the properties of  "rngCell" object are throwing "System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException".See the below exception information.
     Exception Information
     Exception Type: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException
    Message: Unable to get the Text property of the Range class
    Source: Microsoft Office Excel
    ErrorCode: -2146827284
    Thanks
    Krishna.
