Pearl - unable to delete ONE text / media message sent from a mobile device !!

Question

This message shows as text / multimedia messages and it can't be deleted. Under the collective messages folder the message shows deleted.

as you said to handle exception this is what i have done.
kindly verify the same would be of great help.
still iam unable to delete the file.  
OPEN DATASET ld_file FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
