Unable to navigate the folders in JFileChooser when we have Unix file syste

I'm trying to display a JFileChooser on a client system (that happens to be Windows) that will allow the user to browse the filesystem and open files from a remote system (that happens to be UNIX). To do this, I've created a class which extends FileSystemView, and created a JFileChooser using these class.
This allows me to see all of the files and directories in the home/default directory when the dialog is first displayed. However, I cannot navigate in the dialog box. I am unable to navigate by double clicking on the folder. JFileChooser setCurrentDirectory() ignores FileSystemView model
Can Any one help me in this?

What is your DB version?
If you are using 11g, use adrci > show alert > choose the database to view alert log. The events are always logged in alert.log, you are probably looking at wrong/old file .
