HELP!!

You're crashing deep in OS X.  The engineers who can read this kind of thing will need the entire crash log.  Maybe you can break it up into several shorter text chunks ?
I'm not familiar with Mavericks so I can't advise you further.  I stayed with Lion 10.7.5.
If you cam locate the Mac OS X Combo update 10.9.4 at the Apple web site, it wouldn't hurt a thing to apply over your existing install.  With any luck, it may well repair your OS.
Good luck.

  • Not been able to open firefox for days just keep getting crash reporter, tried everything, no joy

for the past few days, a week at most, i've been unable to open firefox, it just keeps giving me the crash reporter..
i always use firefox, i've not installed any add ons (i did install dropbox lately but thats about it), i always have adblockplus running, have done for months never had a problem
having to use Opera at the minute cos Chrome is the slowest browser known to man (why everyone sings its praises i'll never know)
then one day, i tried opening firefox, it said checking compatibility of add-ons, then gave the crash reporter box, not been able to do anything since
i've followed all guides on here, i've reset all settings, i've updated the add-ons it said i had, i've tried booting in safe mode..
..all with the same result, crash reporter
so please dont tell me to go into firefox and change settings as i cant even open firefox
here is my latest crash report ID

    Further info
Please follow the instructions in the article from the above post. In fct you have a second suspicious file showing on your report so look specifically at and scan files ''gblrofmx.dll'' & ''sprotector.dll''
If possible I suggest you quarantine the files rather than deleting them immediately. Also note that you may need to start Windows in safe mode (or Windows safemode with network access) in order to find and move or delete the files.

  • Unable to open Photoshop 7 missing a file HELP!

I had a virus sometime ago, when I went in to open Photoshop 7 I noticed my Icon was missing from my desktop, I looked into the photoshop 7  and files are there but I do not see an exe file, and really not sure what files are missing looks to have most other files just no exe file.   how can I get it back, I cannot find my install disk, I do have my serial #, is there anyway I can download the needed files?

I am sorry Webgirl0284 but we do not have Photoshop 7 available for download or any replacement media.  I would concur with Rave that you may want to look at Photoshop Elements 11 for a low cost alternative which may give you the functionality you need.  You can find more details at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html.

    What can I do

    Hi there,
I'm very sorry you're having issues opening Photoshop. There is a special help page just for this error here. Additionally, there is an older thread where a user found the Licensing Repair Tool (located here) to fix this issue. Give it a try! I hope this helps.

  • Unable to Open Photoshop

When I attempt to open "Photoshop Elements 11" I get an error message stating "Photoshop unable to open due to missing file, please reinstall" This program worked fine yesterday. I did reinstall Photoshop 11 and it seemed to be OK except when I tryed to ope the program I recived the same error message, Unable to open due to missing file. I tryed Photoshop 9 and got the same message. Preimere Elements 11 works fine.
    PLEASE HELP ME.

    Hi Frank,
Are you on Windows or Mac?  Does it give any info about what specific file in missing? Sometimes there is an option to show more info or something like that.

  • Why am I unable to open Photoshop from my Adobe Application Manager?

Whenever I attempt to open Photoshop on my Application Manager nothing happens.  On the right hand side it says that Photoshop is up to date, but it doesn't give me the option to download.  Any suggestions?

JJMack gave you the correct answer.
It sounds to me that you were asking that question because of a possible misconception. namely that the application needs to be downloaded every time you want to use it.  That is incorrect.
Once installed, the Photoshop application resides permanently on your hard disk.  If Photoshop is fully updated, there's absolutely nothing to "download".

  • Unable to Open Photoshop CS6

I have been using Photoshop CS6 Extended Since the beginning of January '13. About a month ago whenever I opened it a pop-up window advert for Creative Cloud would come up, which I have no interest in at this time, and the only way I could get into Photoshop was first to click on the close window button (I us a 27 inch iMac), and then click on the "Yes" tab in response to "Are you sure you want to close." This was a bit annoying to have to do every single time I opened photoshop, but at least I could still access the program. Now the tab closes and photoshop does not open at all, implying that the only way in is to opt in to a trial of a service I have no interest in. Any ideas of how I might fix this issue?
    Jonathan

    try this--
Mac OS: Choose Applications > Adobe Application Manager (if it's there)
open the application manager--look for 'updates- or updater and uncheck it--then try launching Photoshop (it might work)

  • I am currently unable to open photoshop CC/Win7

I have the monthly service. I use am using a windows 7 system. I have opened photoshop twice and now it won't open. When i click on it the hour glass flickers and then nothing. Everything thing else seems to be functioning fine on my computer.  I have read through some of the other discussions and trried to use the task manager with no success. I have shut down and restarted, only to find it un changed.  I try to open photoshop files from my pictures, nope. As the right click administrator option, and nothing. I feel it may be caused by not closing the program. Any ideas?

    1. reset your preferences: hold down ctrl-shift-alt while starting ps cc.  you will see a confirmation dialog if done correctly.
    2. if that fails: uninstall ps cc, restart your computer and reinstall ps cc.

  • Unable to open Photoshop Elements 2.0

I just installed Leopard (OS X 10.5.8) and get this error message when I try to open Photoshop Elements 2.0: "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a program error. Photoshop will now exit." My guess is that Photoshop Elements 2.0 will not run on Leopard. Is this true and is there a Mac software compatibility list somewhere so I can be sure I buy the correct version of Photoshop Elements? Thanks.

Yes, it's true that Elements 2 won't run on Leopard. Which is a pity; it's my favourite version. I had to "downgrade" to Elements 4 when I installed Leopard.

  • Unable to open photoshop cs6 jpeg, tiff, and psd files from my retina MacBook Pro on a Windows PC?

I doubt you need anything special. The files should open without conversion. You can double check with Adobe.

  • Can't open Photoshop CC-says need to reinstall but won't reinstall

I activated the free trial and used Photoshop- it was perfect. Now 2 days later, when I try to open the application, an error message comes saying that some application components are missing from the application directory and to please reinstall the application. But, when I go to the Create Cloud Installer and click on Photoshop, it says "up to date" in the column and won't reinstall or do anything really.... I tried putting the existing app in the trash, but that's not helping....
