Unable to Resolve Integration Conflict.

Hello Everyone!
I am currently having trouble getting rid of an Integration Conflict. I was able to Resolve the Conflict in the 'Inactive' Workspace. However, the Integration Conflict remains in the 'Active' Workspace.
Unfortunately, when I right-click on the conflict in the DTR Perspective all of the options to resolve are greyed out.
Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a simple way to fix the problem?

Can you provide some documentation on Integration Conflit Resolution in NWDS?
Whether the Conflicts which exists when Support Packs are implimented are same as Integration Conflict Resolution method...??????

Unable to resolve sync conflict in 10.5.1

Using 10.5 sync is now reporting a "conflict" which needs to be resolved. When I select "review conflicts now" it does launch the "conflict resolver" but has no open window to select the conflict and resolve it. Is there a plist or something I can clean up to get rid of this phantom warning? I have been able to see the conflict resolver window before and clear up conflicts.

Had the same problem, Launched iSync and reset the sync history and now it works, took a bit to get the data synced between entourage and ical and had to delete some duplicates but it worked for me

Integration conflicts comparision beyond 20 thousand lines of code

I have a file which has 20 thousand lines of code in Project track and 16 thousand lines of code in maintanance track.
I have added 2 lines of code in maintainance track and tried to resolve integration conflicts with project track.
when i do Merge in integration conflict with project track.
it took so much time to compute difference and finally ended up with message
" Too many differences, Turn on the Ignore white space option or do a structure compare first"
once i click ok it takes to the comparison but its not able integrate as there are no signs of merging the code.
i am not able not find any solution for this to resolve this.
Could you please help me in this

Actually its only one activity that has to be integrated from Maintanance track( (4 new lines of code) out of 16 k lines) to project track which had 20 k lines of code.
Once i have released the activity from transport view of mainatance track it reached to consolidation tab of maintanance track and in parallel it reached to development tab in Project track(i have imported the same to consildation of project track) in CMS
After that i have gone to DTR and clicked on Integration conflicts the when i tried to right click and merge
it took so much time and finally ended up with message saying
" Too many differences, Turn on the Ignore white space option or do a structure compare first"
could you please help me this is critical for us to integrate the changes

Unable to Resolve Conflicts via Dialog

Hi,
I am working on a project and cannot resolve the conflicts. Recompliing does not help and every time I reopen the Project I get to click through some 20 boxes which VI to load.
This is somewhat annoying ...
Here a screen of the "Resolve Project Conflicts" Dialog Box.
All the VIs are LabView delivered VIs and some are Labview 8.2.1, some LabView 8.6.
I am working on a Windows XP Professional machine using LabView 8.6 (updated from 8.5) .

Hi nightware,
the conflict occurs because in one project you have vi created in 8.2.1 and some in 8.6.
If you tried only mass compile is in this case not enough, because in your project still some directory dependencies are seen.
LabVIEW tries to load a vi from the directory with a path given, but can not find it there. That is why you have two directory listed.
If the vi are only copied from other computer it may happen, that there where slightly different directory names used.
The only chance to make it running is that you have to go step by step resolving the conflict. You have to go first through all vi which needs update.
It can be very time consuming but there is no other way to make it running.
If you go through all conflicts and solves them, you can save the project. By next time opening the project conflicts should not be present any more.

Yesterday we did a live upgrade on a system that is running WebLogic 9.2, OSM 6.3.1 and Oracle DB 10.2.0.2, those applications are on a seperate system slice, we did a complete upgrade from Solaris 10/9 (update 6) to the latest Solaris 8/11 (update 10), on SPARC. After the upgrade everything was working and applications are able to start, but weblogic server is spewing the following error message:

we went back and activated Solaris update 8, and we still got that problem. The requests that the clients that connect via OSM frontend application that communicates with WebLogic arent being processed.
The oracle db is working and listening to port 1521, I can connect to it and can connect with the user defined in the WebLogic connection pool.
This is the first time working on this system, the application and integration was done by someone else who are not available to help us out, I hope someone here on the forum will be able to help us out with this problem.

Often ConnectionFactory errors are caused by an inability to connect with the database hosting the OSM schema and user.
Check the database and make sure that both it and its listener are accepting connections. If that is ok you can also check the oms_pool configuration in WebLogic. Make sure the JNDI connection is valid. In my environments I see that DHCP often screws things up. If I install OSM on a host that has a DHCP assigned address (I'm guilty of being lazy when working in VMs and not statically assigning IP addresses) I often break the JNDI when I reboot the VM and get a new IP.
In WebLogic Admin Console:
Domain > Services > JDBC >Connection Pool > URL
and make sure the JDBC connection string is correct.

Are you using Standalone (or) Integrated WLS. It works only on Standalone WLS.

Unable to resolve scan name to an ip address

I am installing 11gR2 on RHEL-4.
My installing is getting on scan ip part.
Its giving me an error that unable to resolve scan name to an ip address.
I have put the scan ip entry in /ect/hosts file instead configuring using DNS.
My /etc/hosts

During installation i configured 3 disk and selected normal redundancy.

I think you need to clera your JWS cache. to do this, just open your Java Web Start, go to FILE-->PREFERENCES >Advanced> and select the option CLEAR APPLICATION FOLDER.

When I go through system log user was locked which is used for sldaccess maintained in sldapicust transaction.
After unlocking same user , problem was resolved.

I think what may be your main issue here is that the 2011
server has the Intel integrated HD3000 and is is struggling
to run both a Thuderbolt display and a second monitor.
When looking at specs for Thunderbolt Display, it is stated
that the 2011 Mini Server can only support one. Adding that
Dell monitor with 1920x1200 display may just be too many
pixels for the HD3000 to handle.
You may want to try setting the Dell to a lower resolution
to test the theory to see what happens. It is however,
possible that any additional monitor when using the Thunderbolt
display may over tax the HD3000 graphics.
FWIW personally, I have been running a 2011 Mini Server w/ Thunderbolt
display for almost a year now without any issues. However, I don't
use a second monitor.

Can pacman automatically resolve package conflicts?

I hope the "installation" area is the right place to discuss Pacman ;
Is there a way for Pacman to resolve conflicts between implied packages (e.g. those included by a group like base) and other packages explicitly listed in the command line arguments?
For example, if I do
pacman -S base fcron
I get this error
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: cronie and fcron are in conflict (cron)
Given I didn't explicitly specify cronie it would be good if Pacman could realise that fcron and cronie both satisfy the same dependency (cron) and would therefore drop cronie to resolve the conflict with fcron.
I know I can get round the problem by issuing two separate pacman commands but I'm trying to do this in a script that builds a package list for a complete system for a specific purpose as defined by a set of definition profiles and then installs the lot with one call to Pacman.
Can Pacman do this now and I just haven't realised how, or would this sound like a reasonable enhancement request ?

Well, the workaround I am using is below. I think it's ugly but it works. I have to let the unwanted implied packages install and then manu
ally replace them. In a script the only hands-off way I can find to make this happen is with the below ugly command:

I think there are two problems with how it works today.
1. it isn't possible to replace packages in a group with specific alternatives in one command
2. the default option when requesting an --ignore is to not ignore. I think this is particularly crazy since I explicitly told the command
to ignore that package.
I'm happy to raise these in bug/enhancement request tracking if you can guide me in the right direction.

Unable to resolve Apache-Tomcat after 5.0.2 Upgrade / Content Server Install

I recently upgraded from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2. With 5.0.1, I was able to resolve to http://<apache-tomcat.domain.com>:8080 as well as http://<apache-tomcat.domain.com>:8080/ptcsand http://<apache-tomcat.domain.com>:8080/ptcs/diagnosticsTest.jsp. However, after upgrading to 5.0.2, I am unable to resolve to any of these URLs. The 'Content Server' admin. folder shows up within the admin. ui and all necessary objects are there. Other than the upgrade, no other changes were made to the server. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am unable to update software or backup my devices. Apple techs unable to resolve the issue after hours of phone support over the course of several months.

I am unable to update software, transfer purchases, sync, or backup any of my 3 devices. I have tried using iTunes on other computers, uninstalling iTunes with tech support walking me through, using a different user on my computer, deleting photos off of my devices, using an ethernet cable instead of connecting with wifi, uninstalling my antivirus software and firewall, and had my laptop examined by several techs who all determined there was nothing wrong with the laptop that explains what has been going on. I am also unable to view or download purchases on iTunes. Clicking the Itunes store results in a blank white screen. I get various error messages, including -9886. Apple techs and now the engineers have been unable to resolve the issues thus far, even after several hours of phone support over the course of several months (about 5 hours this month alone). I have done everything they've suggested, even when they've suggested I do something over again, and I'm becoming frustrated. I would greatly appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you in advance for your time.

Sorry for hijacking your thread as put by Dahveed. However I have resolved my issue so I thought I'll share it with the rest of you.
I checked for the error 3194 in youtube and I found some good videos that tell you how to resolve the problem. The issue I was facing was the actually (I know because I have resolved it now) the communication between my computer and apple server which can be fixed as following (if you are using windows):
There is file in following directory:
C:\Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
The file normally has no extension and it is in file format. You need to open it and make sure that every line that has apple server id starts with "#". In my case one of the line started directly with the ip address and then gs.apple.com.
Perform your restore/update after that and hopefully it should be resolved (mine did).

Check whether your connection pool and datasource are really
started. Also check you have the correct JDNI name, NOT name,
for your datasource.
