Unable to see ECC proxies in PI Service Registry
I am trying to consume ECC proxies in PI service registry but I cannot see any ECC backend proxies in PI. I have gone through several blogs, configuration guides and sdn forums to get this to work but could not. In ECC, if I use SOAMANAGER, I can see my proxy and web service in web service administration but I cannot see it in PI. I have done the following:
- System Global Settings
In Service Registry, I have defined proxy class as CO_SERVICES_REGISTRY_FLAT_SI, set to primary, logical port defined as default_port.
- On ECC WS administration, setup end points and binding.
- setup ID configuration objects for this scenario (WS to Proxy -> Proxy to WS Synchronous)
- Proxy creation in ECC also completed.
- Also checked in WSPARAM settings, same as WS Admin Service Registry.
- WSPUBLISH - getting error in ECC: RCVR_DETERMINATION.NO_RECEIVER_CASE_BE No receiver could be determined, Error retrieving Services Registry (SR) version information, Error retreiving physical system from Services Registry, Exception raised during physical system publication. Code.
and in PI getting error: INTERNAL.PROXY_NOT_ALLOWED_ON_IS Proxy calls are not permitted on sender or receiver side on the IS (client), Error retrieving Services Registry (SR) version information, No Publication possible from Integration Server(IS).
- Created type H RFC destinations in both ECC and PI.
Since WSADMIN, WSCONFIG and LPCONFIG have been combined into SOAMANAGER, are there any other settings I have to do as far as ECC communicating with PI Web Service and PI consuming ECC proxies? Did I miss anything here?
Most of the PI documenation, blogs and guides are outdated for previous versions. We are using SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1.
Thank you!

I am unable to see following SQL Server Analysis Services in central admin services after the SQL 2014 power pivot installations
RaviHi Ravi,
Per my knowledge, there is no Analysis Service in SharePoint.
After running the SQL 2014 setup to install PowerPivot for SharePoint, you need to open the PowerPivot for SharePoint 2013 Configuration tool in Central Admin Server and configure PowerPivot for SharePoint.
After that, you will see new Service Application called "Default PowerPivot Service Application" in Central Administration.
If you have other WFE servers, then you need to install the PowerPivot Add-In on all the other servers in the SharePoint farm.

Unable to see installation files (GRC) at service market place
I am not able to see the files of GRC installation at the service market place by going through the menu.

Can anyone provide the installation files( .CAR , .SAR ) for the same.
RegardsYour organization needs to hold a valid license for SAP GRC Access Control. If that is the case your S-user ID that is linked to your organization's customer number at SAP will have access to the software download page on the [software download section of the SAP Service Marketplace|http://service.sap.com/swdc].
Please allow me to point out that this forum's participants use their real name when posting questions or comments on the BPX forum. Would you mind following that practice?

Publish a service from ECC 6.0 to Service Registry on PI 7.1
Hello All,
I've been trying to publish a service from ECC to the SR that has been configured on PI 7.1.
I've followed the below steps to configure the connectivity from ECC to PI.
1. On PI 7.1, created 2 destinations (UDDI_DESTINATION & CLASSIFICATION_DESTINATION) with http authentication (used admin user id with uddi_admin and service_registry_read_write roles assigned)
2. On ECC, created an RFC destination of type G to point to PI 7.1 with path prefix /ESRegistryWS/BasicAuthConfig?wsdl&style=document.
3. On ECC, assigned this RFC destination on LPCONFIG for proxy class CO_ESREGISTRY_WSSI and port LP_WORKPLACE.
4. On ECC, WSPARAM created a new UDDI registry entry with logical port name LP_WORKPLACE.
Next, I tried to publish a Z service from ECC (WSPUBLISH) to this new UDDI registry and I get a prompt to enter a user id and password for the service "/ESRegistryWS/BasicAuthConfig": I inputted the admin id which has uddi_admin and service_registry write access, but I got the below error:
Exception raised during physical system publication. Code : ''
Details:
10150 Invalid Response code (401). Server
<http://myhost.domainxyz.com: 50100/uddi/api/publish/> returned
message <Unauthorized>.
Spent a lot of time debugging and couldn't resolve it..Please help..Thanks, Raja.
I've already assigned both roles (SERVICE_REGISTRY_READ_WRITE and UDDI_ADMIN) to an admin user ID on UME (PI 7.1). When I try to publish a service (Tx: WSPUBLISH) from ECC, immediately, I get a prompt to enter an id and password for the service "/ESRegistryWS/BasicAuthConfig" like I mentioned in the first post. I'm entering the ID I've configured on UME with those two roles assigned, but I get this error.
10150 Invalid Response code (401). Server
<http://myhost.domainxyz.com: 50100/uddi/api/publish/> returned
message <Unauthorized>.
Seems 100% an authorization error..but don't know what else to look for.
Thanks for looking into this and any other thoughts, you might have. -
Unable to see/Export All existing users of MSAD-Shares Services
Hi Dear all !
Please help me to resolve an issue.
I have configures shared services in MS Active directory and it users.
but problem is that i m unable to see all users in User list in shared services under active directory.while i click n "show all" option its showing only 4 pages of records.
but if i m searching a user which is not displaying in those pages , i got that user..
Also while exporting the user list i have only users which are displaying in user list (in 4 pages)..not all users details are exported.
Please, anybody let me know the solution !!
Thank you.
vivekIf you really want to export all users from MSAD, then you should probably be looking into MSAD/LDAP utilities for that purpose. If what you really mean is that you want to export all user and group assignments that you've set up in Shared Services, then take a look at the Lifecycle Management or CSSExport utilities.

On dev environment I am deploying workflow through visual studio and here everything works fine.

Unable to see SFSF Adapter in Adapter list
Hi Experts,
we are doing the integration with ECC-HCM--> SAP PI ---> SUCCESSFACTOR
As per the below link we have deployed the Successfactor components in our SAP PI 7.4 dual stack system.

Download Catalog > SAP NetWeaver and complementary products > SAP NW PI

After all these admin activites, we are unable to see the SFSF adapter in the list.
As i understand we need to download .TPZ adapter SFSF Adapter file and import in ESR? Is my understanding correct ? i could not able to find the TPZ file in service market place.
it would be great if you share the link for SFSF TPZ file froms service market place.
Regards,.
Krushi. Not sure if you found the solution (your question is marked as assumed answered)
If not i see a .tpz file right under XI Content connectivity 1.0.. Did you import that? -
Building client proxies for web services with SOAP attachemtns
Hi all.
I'm currently building a series of web services that take SOAP attachments as
input, but I am unable to generate the java proxies for testing the services via
WebLogic Workshop 8.1. When I attempt to build the proxy, I get the following
error:
Warning: Failed to generate client proxy from WSDL definition for this service.
Suggestion: Please verify the <types> section of the WSDL.
Is there something I need to alter to get this to work, or does workshop not support
client proxies for web services with DataHandler parameters?
Thanks.
-BrianThanks for the help. This is my first web service with SOAP attachments, so it
may have been a long time till I realized that.

Thanks Brian,
The problem is that you are trying to use the "document" soap-style :-)
If you change this to "rpc", you'll should be able to successfully generate
the
client proxy jar. The soap-style property, is at the bottom of the "protocol"
property sheet section, for the JWS.

Hi Brian,
Would it be possible for you to post the WSDL, so we can see what might

When using the camera downloader in Adobe Bridge CS6 with Nikon D5200 we are unable to see previews of the photos and it is very slow to download. The issue occurs under a the users rights, but not under admin level. This is a new issue.
Hi Jdentremont,
Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.
Best regards,
Eric

ITunes was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services-Solution
Hello all. I recently upgraded to iTunes 9.1.1.12 on a laptop with Windows XP Pro and the latest iPhone OS (as of May 16,2010). Right after that, I started getting the "iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services" error message. After I dismissed that window, it would go ahead and indicate that it was synching for a minute or two, and then indicate (in iTunes) that it was backing up the iPhone. This will run forever unless cancelled and the phone would not synch.
After reading various solutions that worked for others (install Mobile Me, reinstall itunes, run diagnostics, all with numerous reboots in between), this is what worked for me:
1) Open up Windows Services, and stop the Apple Mobile Device and iPod Service, and mark them as manual (as opposed to Automatic).
2) Deinstall iTunes
3) Delete the c:\program files\common files\apple folder (and all sub folders within). This is where the services are stored, and when I did all of these steps without doing this step, it didn't fix my problem. By deleting this folder, you insure that the iTunes install reinstalls these. You should see the services that were stopped in step 1, running again after the install is done. Note: I don't use Safari or QuickTime on my laptop, so I can't say whether or not this step would have any impact on those apps.
4) Reinstall iTunes.
5) Connect the iphone to your computer.
6) At this point, I still got the dataclass error, so I immediately cancelled the synch.
7) Run the diagnostics for the iphone (connectivity and synch).
8) At this point, two DOS windows launched, and I did get another error about being able connect to the synch server.
9) Closed the error message and disconnected the iphone (the phone at this point did not indicate that a synch was occurring).
10) Reconnected the iphone and, voila, it's been working fine ever since.
Hope this helps someone else out until Apple deals with the 9.1.1.12 (and .11) issues with synching.Either do Windows Control Panel → Administrative Tools and then picking "Services" or typing "Services.msc" in the Run command on Start menu.

ITunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services
Hello,
My itunes says : "iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services", when i connect my iphones.
My iphones sync fine on my other computer.
This problem occurred when formatting my pc from work.
And this problem prevents me only sync tab "info" (contacts, calendar and Outlook). This does not prevent me to synchronize other tabs.
I already tried to reinstall itunes, and the diagnostic option.
Thanks in advance. This problem has been ongoing since 9.2 came out ... i.e. quite some time.
I uninstalled and then removed all traces off Apple applications, then reinstalled back to the prior version and ran with no problems.
When I upgraded to V4 iPhone software I had to upgrade again and ran into the same problem.
Upgrading from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003 was of no benefit.
I have purchased Sync2, set up a gmail account and sync over wireless from Outlook to gamil, then from gamil to iPhone.
This only does calendar and contacts (haven't found a solution for notes) but waiting for Apple to sort this will probably see you old and gray.
Good luck. -
Unable to see fields of BI Publisher report in MS Office
Hi,
We have a report in BIPublisher(10g). We are designing a template for a report. So from MSOffice, while we are accessing the report, we are unable to see the fields. We were able to see only RowSet. The report is working or able to see in BIPublisher.
This happens very often to us. We will be able to see the fields for some of the reports and unable to see for some reports. I can say we are able to see all the reports in BIPublisher.
Initially we are working in the sytem with 1GB RAM and thought that MSOffice is unable to load the report. Now we are working from a system with 2GB RAM, still same problem.
We did: Open MSWord-->Login to BIPublisher--> Open the folder-->Select the report.then--Insert field.
In the popup window opened, we were able to see only RowSet no fields.
We observed this is happening to the reports which have parameters to be passed
where could be the problem...help us.
Thanks

Good day to ALL!
I developed the reports every thing fine but one of the field FISTL_WP in datasource 0HR_PY_1 able to see the data in rsa3 and same field data unable to see in PSA level and as well as RSA6 data source level in ECC system so any one face the issue before please pass your inputs.
Regards
RKHi,
You can write custom program on ecc dev system T code - SE38.
Check below code.
Report ZROOSFIELD
tables: ROOSFEILD.
SELCT SINGLE * FROM ROOSFIELD WHERE OLTPSOURCE = '0HR_PY_1' AND
OBJVERS = 'A' AND FIELD ='FISTL_WP'.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
ROOSFIELD-SELECTION ='P'.
MODIFY ROOSFEILD.
ENDIF.
do the syntax check and execute it. Later check above table. you filed SELECTION will be as P.
After that you can see at RSA6 and replicate data source to bw side. Do the rest of the things at bw side.
Thanks
