Unable to see Mapping editor

Hi All.
I face a problem in loading The Mappings..
When I double click a mapping a tab with no content appears... !
and when I want to close the tab I'll recieve :

My Warehouse builder is : 11G R2
windows 7 32 bit
I try to uninstall and clear all windows registry related to owb and install owb again but no effect....
This happens just for The Mappings , other editors for Tables , dimensions and etc have no problem

LONG handling was problematic until 11gR2 of OWB.
Have seen folk working around this by using pl/sql post-procedures in owb to process the LONG data. The map should load all other data into target table and than call a post procedure to read the source table with LONG and update the target table, the procedure must do a cursor loop over query and update the target with LONG data. With the approach done there is a limit in this implementation through PLSQL for supporting LONGs that are <32k. The alternative is to use the COPY command in SQLPlus.

Unable to See the Technology Function in The Expression Editor- ODI 11G

Hi,
I am developing Interface whereas i am unable to see the Technology functions in the Expression Editor where i am trying to do some transformation .
Secondly in the Header it is showing Default language in place of SQL(Oracle)
any fix please..

Below was the step i did which resolved the issue. hope this will help others
Go to ODI Studio
In Topology- Expand Language
Import New Language
import in synonym INSERT_UPDATE mode
The Language definitions from $ODI_HOME/oracledi/xml-reference/LANG_SQL.xml
click OK
close ODI Studio and Open again. that fixed my issue.

Hi sudhir,
If you click the ellipsis beside the content link, it will pop up a window for you to input the file link. No list option will be offered to be chose.
When I add a content editor web part to a list, I usually save the code into a Notepad file and save it to a document library. Then copy the url of the document and then paste it into content link.
Also, you could click Edit HTML Source, then directly add code into the popup window. It works as the same as the above method.

Unable to see pipe line steps in the SXMB_MONI

HI,
i have done the development and quality work for my p i7.1
i was testing the messages in the Quality System.
So i went to SXMB_MONI to see the messages.
After double clicking on the successfully processed message, it shows
pipe line steps.
in that I am able to see
1.inbound message(CENTRAL)
2.XML Validation inbound channel Request
3. call adapter
4. Response
but i am unable to see
1. Receiver Determination
2. Interface Determination
3. Receiver Grouping
4. Request Message Mapping
5. Technical Routing
whereas in the develoment system i am able to see the above all.
is there any configuration i have to do in the SXMB_ADM?

can i know that Configuration objects were created/ imported by using transport mechanisum?

check the cache status and re activated those objects whatever u r posted in thread.

Unable to see 'Search Dialog Box Component' option

In trying to follow Thilo Brandt's article to 'Develop a Serach Component for KM Search iView', but I'm unable to see Content Management -> User Interface -> Mapping -> Search Dialog Box Component. Is there something I need to 'turn on' so that I can view that option?

Unable to see a column of a table in portal for a particular User

Hi,
A particular user is unable to see a particular column of a table in the portal . The application is developed in Webdynpro ABAP. The table contains two columns. Both the columns contain text type fields. What appears to the user is that the left column has disappeared and the right hand column has shifted to the left.
This is occuring for a particular user only. We have checked in our development and quality systems but we are unable to replicate the issue. Please help.

You can use BAPI in LSMW to craete Material or You can use direct input method. Both methods as follows below:
Using BAPI in LSMW:
First maintain IDOC Inbound Processing steps by giving PORT and Partner Type and Partner Numberby clicking 'settings' icon in menu path in LSMW Screen.
Adn then execute LSMW and maintain the values as below in the first step.
BusinessObject Method(BAPI)

For the selecting of views, you can maintain fields for all views(From Basic view to costing view) in your excel and populate with 'X' in respective fields for activating views.

Mapping editor not working with Java 5 classes

I have a small protoype web service which I wrote using Tomcat/Axis/Spring/Hibernate and using EJB3 annotations for the mappings. I want to port the persistence layer to Toplink.
I installed Toplink 9.0.4.1 and added the toplink libraries to my project and implemented the DAO and the spring bean defs.
I opened the mapping editor and created a project. When I try to add classes to it for mapping I get an error that it can't find the classes (even though I selected them from the chooser). I figured it might be that they were compiled with Java 5, so I switched the JRE_HOME in setenv.cmd to my Java 5 JRE. Now I can import the classes and see the attributes but when I click on any of them in the Navigator panel, the editor panel remains blank. If I now try to save, I get:

I am unable to see print preview for my sales orders in VA03.
When ever i am selecting an order and from
menu-> sales document-> issue output to
it is raising information message on my status bar no output
has been selected for printing.
How can i view may print preview for sales order other
than from va02/vao3.
Can we view preview of a sales order if there is no output type is mapped to
form. if yes can please give me the steps.

Hi,
Go to NACE transaction , from there choose the V1 application,now click on Output types. now see the Output types for print related.
Now use them for your preview.
you need to provide Output type to view the preview
May be you are missing some configuration(in your case Order type may be Z* so it requires Some Config ).

PS Elements 5.0, Unable to Connect to Editor Application

I open a photo in the Organizer. When I try going to Edit-Quick Fix, I get "Unable to Connect to Editor Application". I am abe to go to Ful Edit, from the Organizer and then to Quick Fix from te Full Editor.
After "fixing" the photo, in Quick Fix, I do a save as, which the program does, but when I go back to the Organizer the thumbnail is blank with an hour glass in it. The photo is still in te organizer, just not visible. Does anyone know what is going on? I did update to Adobe Reader 9, yesterday. Could this have caused a problem?
I am using Windows XP, with PS Elements 5.0.

Since I posted this question I have deleted 400 + pictures that I recently added to the organizer and it seems to have solved the problem of opening the editor. However when I open a photo in the organizer and then open the editor and make "fixes", the thumbnail does not appear in the organizer when I do a "save as" and leave the editor. All I see in the organizer is a blanked out spot with an hour glass where the photo should be. The organizer will still open the photo, just no thumbnail. Any suggestions?
Does anyone know if there are any limitations on the number of photos the organizer can accommodate?

Mapping Editor using Multiple Structures

Hello all!
I am trying to implement complex mapping scenario in the Mapping Editor. The source structure has tree element tags, <ORDEMSERVICO>, <SERVICOS> and <PECA>, and xml root element <MT_OrdemServico_Dealer>. Translating this tags for English, we have <Service Order>, <Services> and <Parts>. So, we could be 1 or N orders, composed with services and services with parts. We need to transform this source structure into a target structure like as EDI file, repeating ID_CONC, ID_OS elements of <ORDEMSERVICO> into a <SERVICOS>, and repeating the same elements into a <PECA> and adding ID_CONC, ID_OS, ID_SERVICE. It follows below both samples Source and Target Structure.
We have tried uses Mapping Editor with a Standard functions: SplitByValue and OneAsMany in the lowest elements <SERVICOS> and <PECAS>. Because, it is possible has many services with parts, or one service with many parts. And both can have one or more Service Order. But we couldnu2019t have success.
Please see the source and target xml files?
Please somebody could help me? To solve this problem? Is there other way to do this?

Unable to see form previews in BPE

I am unable to see preview of opend forms in the business process editor.I get the error message 404 file not found.
Even if i copy paste the URL in the browser i am unable to see the form
please help

Unable to see repository objects in directory

hi,
i am unable to see repository objects in directory(like message interface, interface mapping).
i have tried cache refresh but the issue still persists.

Check in SLD whether required software component is assigned to your techincal system and business system.
If it is not assigned to required technical and business system:
1. Assign the Software product to your technical system in SLD.
2. Add the Software component to your business System in SLD.
3. Go to Environment --> Clear SLD Cache in Integration Directoty..
Then try again.

Unable to load mapping - Integration Repository

I created a Message Mapping and saved it, then when I close it and try to open it again I can't see it and this message appears:
"Unable to load mapping"

WCS 7 map editor issue

Hi Guys,
I am currently setting up some maps on WCS version 7. The map displays correctly in the floor view but if I open in Map Editor it seem to crop about a 1/3 of the picture on the right hand side. I have tried using different building/floor size combinations and also tried using the scaling tool to oversize/undersize the picture.
No matter what I try the picture always looks correct in the floor view but is cropped in the Map editor.
Any ideas? is there a way to move the the picture around in the Map editor? I have had not encountered this before on previous versions.

You can try the work aroung specified in the bug and see if that helps.
Workaround:
Re-size image to make sure that neither height or width exceeds 2880 pixels. If
needed, use WCS to re-scale the image to needed building proportions.
