Unable to send text to one mobile from landline

Hi
Really scratching my head with this one. My mother uses the house phone (Relate 2100) to send me text messages, The last time this worked was on Saturday. We now find the landline will send texts happily to any phine except my mobile. My mobile can send them to and be received by the Relate but the reply never arrives. I swapped the sim into another phone but no joy. I've sent "reset" to 00000 and "register" to 00000 and desperate to get it working again and want to avoid "Customer Services" who were the reason why I previously left BT (since returned a year ago) as I kept being told different things the final one which was my mother would loose her phone number - we only wanted to change the Direct Debit!

Hi.
The first thing that came to mind was perhaps something on your mobile phone was doing the blocking, rather than the relate.
Is that a possibilty ? It seems to point that way due to texts being received elsewhere.
Does it look like the relate sends the text alright ?

Sounds like a setup problem on their end.

Unable to send text to one contact only

Can anyone help please ........ All of a sudden I can no longer text one of my contacts. It returns unsuccessful. I can call and can send picture messages but not SMS.

They are using a Samsung on 3 ....... They don't have any other problems with anyone else. It used to work then suddenly stopped. It's been about 2 weeks now. ..... I can send messages to others on the 3 network.
I don't have any issues with any other contacts.

N93 unable to send text

Unable to send texts from my brand new out of the box N93 phone. I've contacted my carrier T-Mobile and they said it was a Nokia issue. When I try to send a text msg, it first act like it's going through then it registers "unable to send". PLEASE HELP!

TS2755 I am frequently unable to send iMessages to one contact.

I am able to recieve iMessages from all my contacts whenever we are both connected to the Internet, but I am frequency unable to send any to one contact, I can recieve her iMessages, but always find it sends via text message seconds later. IPhone 5 Showing incorrect Time. Unable to send text messages.

Ok here's my problem. My time on my iPhone is incorrect. I check my settings it's on automatic and it is set to my Hawaii time zone. I am unable to send text messages because I believe the time is not the same as the server. When I try to send a text it says Go to Date & time settings. This happens at least once a day. My time would be incorrect for 10 mins then go back to correct time. This happens on LTE and on WiFi. I also have rebooted the iPhone. One last thing. I check my battery usage. It's says 4,294,967,278 days on Standby. I guess the time is messing up my stats. Anyone have the same problem? Please help. If not I hope new ios update fix this.

My house is in an area that is covered by 3G. But I work in an area that is 4G-LTE. (Actually, my house is right on the border of these coverages because I notice it switching from 3G to LTE periodically.)
Anyway, what I notice is that when I switch from the LTE to 3G network, my iPhone 5 clock gets corrupted. It's 2h22m off. Weird. It doesn't do it right away, but after I'm home for awhile, I'll notice that the clock has been changed. I know this corruption causes errors in my iMessage app because I've gotten an error message about it. It may cause errors in others.
Once I leave my house and go back into stable LTE coverage, I can do one of the following to correct the clock (because it won't autocorrect):
- turn the phone off and then back on
- go to Settings => General => Date&Time and switch "Set Automatically" off and then back on
These fixes will also work if I stay in 3G coverage.
This has happened every day since I got the phone so I know it's a real bug. I'm sending a support request to Apple today. Otherwise, however, I love my iPhone 5 and LTE speed makes all the difference.

Ios 7 upgrade will not let me send text to certain mobile numbers. Apple allows you to create your own custom label for a phone number. In my case, I have a number of landline and mobile numbers connected to a business that I call constantly. There are a number of businesses set up this way in my Iphone. I have changed the name of the contacts in these businesses, be it landline or mobile. But now it seems that I cannot send a text to Mobiles that I have changed the name of, from MOBILE to the persons name. Even changing it to the persons name and then mobile beside it .
Anyone got any way around this

Hi Just got home and am sending you a screenshot of one f the contacts in my Ipone 4s with the ios 7 upgrade. Ive deleted a few of the numbers but you can see there are two of the mobiles on there. One has a persons name and one is just called mobile.
the one with the persons name no longer has the text box beside it which would normally allow me to text that person.
I did edit this contact and changed it back to "Mobile". I was then able to send a text as the text box was available for use

Nokia 6680 unable to send texts

I've had a Nokia 6680 for about 7/8 months now. In that time its every so often decided its memory is full (when it isnt) and be unable to send texts. This was normally fixed by turning it off and on. About a week ago this stopped fixing the problem. Over the next few days I had to put up with not being able to send any texts. 3 days ago I hard reset it a few times and it fixed the problem. However the problem has returned again. I really dont want to have to hard reset my phone every few days since thats a bit annoying.
Has anyone come accross this before? (Phone memory is 66% free, RAM is 99% free and MEmCard is 40% free).

Very odd, don't really know what to suggest about that one!
Try entering the number as 0044 instead of +44.
If you have delivery reports enabled, try disabling them or vice versa.
Make sure "Reply via same centre" is set to "no" in the messaging options.
Can't really thing of much else to try! My guess is that it's an odd network fault that is blocking it.

i am unable to send text messages from my iphone but able to receive them ,i am using iphone 4s with ios 6 and using videocon as carrier
i tried enabling imessage , when i put this sim in other phone it works or also tried other sim in 4s then it also works but want to send messages with videocon carrier using 4s , anybody can help

Might sound silly but in settings/messages have you got "send as SMS" turned on?

Error Message - Unable to send text message!

Hi, hope someone can help me with this.
I have started getting this error when i send a text from PC Suite via my 7610. The text sends properly and this error shows up.
Setup:
Windows XP Pro - Service Pack 2
PC Suite Version - 6.70.22
Bluetooth connection.
Started out of the blue with no warning.
I have tried removing the battery from the phone and putting it back in. I uninstalled and reinstalled the suite.
Any help Appreciated.

i had the same problem. sending an sms with the pc suite produces the unable to send text message error. i tried removing SMSsync, PC support form the phone as described in the forum. None of this helped for me.
eventually uninstalled pc suite from the pc. then ran the pc suite cleaner, it can be found here:

reinstalled the pc suite and that solved the problems
sms's sent via pc suite are now sending successfully

I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.

If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

New Doro PE 508, old sim 07808800489 [ex Orange] but am unable to send texts.Why

Where did you buy the Doro from? If EE then it's locked to EE and Orange SIMs won't work in it. They are diff networks.
You need to get a replacement SIM. Take phone & old SIM into an EE shop & they'll transfer credit, no. & (SIM) contacts to SIM of correct size for free or order online https://explore.ee.co.uk/Order-a-new-SIM for £10.

Phone won't let me send texts to one specific number.

I recently discovered a problem with my Motorola Droid Mini phone, where it will not let me send texts to one specific number, but it will let me send texts to other numbers. I have tried rebooting my phone, deleting the number from my contacts and entering it manually, and have tried re-entering it into my contacts. None of this has worked so far, so any other suggestions would be very helpful.

try contacting your carrier and see if they can resolve the issue.

Any problem with a text not being successfully sent you need to take up with the carrier being used at the time.
