Unable to set parameters for "Act as Prox" in OBI11g

Hi Gurus,
following Mark Rittman's blog I was able to set parameters and I could use this feature in OBI10g.
However, in OBI 11g I was not able.
1. In the init block of Proxyblock I am not able to add SET_RUNAS to Execution Precedence
The Add button is inactive.
2. In the init block of Proxylevel I am not able to add Proxyblock to Execution Precedence .
Only the SET_RUNAS available.
What to do?
Any ideas and help are appreciated!

You should also change your temp directory to something woth no spaces, something like C:\temp.
Sapisnt sometimes has problems with the spaces in the temp path, and the Universal Installer nearly always
has a problem with this.

labelFunction is the best way to do this. The attached code also shows how to do it with an itemRenderer, though that would not be as efficient.

EIS error - "Unable to set locale for GlobalC"

Hello all!
I'm working with Oracle Performance Scorecard and Oracle Integration Services to generate an Essbase cube. I'm not able no generate my cube from HPS even it doesn't showing any error in the screen but in the HPS log it shows the error message "Unable to set locale for GlobalC". So, i've noticed that the problem isn't with HPS, but EIS. I decided start the EIS shell (olapicmd.exe) and the same error message was showed in the cmd prompt. Could anyone help with this issue?

unable to set preferences for planning from workspace.(file--->preferences----->planning), when doing this task prompts " An Error occured" preferences works fine with other components IR, FR, WEB ANALYSIS.problem is only with the planning.
1) i restarted the workspace and planning services but even then the same issue.

Please find below code.. parameters KS7 and KS8 are on static slection parameter and GJR, VPE, BPE are on dynamic selection parameters for transaction KSB2. But, when I run program, values are passing to parameters KS7 and KS8 but not to GJR, VPE, BPE.

at the time of you code being executed the fields may not be available (Defined)..
You can put a breakpoint on the same & check the RC (Sy-Subrc) for the SET PARAMETER statement

Unable to set count for Select Query for BizTalk SQL receive port

Using external XML to add and set parameters for AS cue points.

Hi there. I am trying to use external xml to set cue point
times (for video), titles, and other parameters. I have everything
set up, except getting the proper data from the xml file to set the
parameters for my cue points. I am researching hard and learning

Setting Application Set Parameters For Variable

Hi Guys,
When I've read the BPC help about "Setting application set parameters" and the statement likes this :
Allows you to define a custom email message that is sent when a work status code is changed. The message is applicable to all applications in the application set. You can customize the message using the following variables:
%USER% - name of user who changed the status
%ED% - Entity dimension
%EM% - Entity member
%CD% - Category dimension
%CM% - Category member
%TD% - Time dimension
%TM% - Time member
%STA% - Work status
%OWNER% - Entity owner
%TIME% - time of change
For example, you can enter "This is to inform you that %USER% has updated the work status for %EM%, %CM%, %TM% on %TIME%". The message can be up to 255 characters, and there is no need for quotes or brackets around parameters.
The Questions:
When I put the "%ED" into the textfield "APPROVALSTATUSMSG", after that I try to send email from BPF and the "%ED" still same into the email message. But it should describe the value of variable.

If I look at the available parameters in the helpfile 2 things are strange in my opinion:
1)the parameter is called approvalstatusmsg, approval status was the V4 naming convention of the function, right now it is called workstatus, so it might be a V4 function. Never used it myself but maybe it is something not correctly migrated to v5.
2) Even if it is working in V5, which I don't know for sure, then it is strange that you only have variables for Categroy, time and entity, since you can setup the workstatus for more then these 3 dimensions in V5 which you would also like to have in a case you set it up for more then 3 dimensions. For example for if you want to use Category,time,Entity & Product dimension in the workstatus, you would also like to inform the people which product is updated, since only just category,time and entity won't say that much.
So I think you best check with support if this function is still usable in V5 or if it is an old function from V4. and if it is working in V5, how do you get the right parameters in the variables when you setup workstatus for other dimensions then just Category/time/Entity.
I would like to know the results!

SMLets Beta 3: Unable to set DateTime for DateTime property using SetSCSMObject

I need to set dateTime for my custom fields for Incidents. I wanted to use Set-SCSMObject for that. But it doesn't work. For other field types it is working fine.
May be I'm doing something wrong, but I don't see it. It would be great if anybody is able to help.

You must temporary change locale in your script.
In begin of script you must change locale in "En-Us":
$OldCulture = [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentCulture
$OldUICulture = [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture
$culture = New-Object System.Globalization.CultureInfo("en-US")
[System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = $culture

And return locale after script body:
[System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = $OldCulture

Can't set parameters for embedded audio files using css

I'm embedding numerous audio files in Dreamweaver CS3 using
the <embed> tag. I'm using CSS to control the box size and
other attributes relating to how the file displays on the page, but
I'd also like to set the parameter "autoplay" to false, and
controller to "true," for all of the audio files. I've been doing
this individually for each file (very time consuming), because I
can't figure out a way to do it with CSS. Is there a way to set
those parameters in CSS and apply it to all files?

No. CSS is for presentation, but these parameters belong to
the HTML and
have to be written there.
BTW: The 'embed' element is invalid HTML. If you care about
valid markup
and your site doesn't have to be compatible with really old
browsers
like NN 4 or IE 5.5, then you should use the valid method
using 'object'
elements.

Unable to set CLASS_PATH for j2ee.jar

Hello all,
I have a peculiar problem. I have included the j2ee.jar path in my XP Home Edition environment variable, but javac is unable to get packages from there. I have echo-ed the CLASS_PATH in DOS command prompt and it reports the correct path of j2ee.jar. What's amazing is that when I type the full javac command with -classpath option (javac -classpath ____/j2ee.jar *.java) everything compiles well. I am lost here. Does someone here has a solution to this?

With XP, I had the same problem even if I had CLASSPATH. AFter lot of headbreaking I realized my J2EE_HOME and JAVA_HOME were part of user variables in the environment. But CLASSPATH I defined in the System variables and CLASSPATH was set with %J2EE_HOME%\lib\j2ee.jar which was the culprit. Once I moved the J2EE_HOME from user variables to system variables ..lo behold ..it was working and I did not have to substitue the j2ee.jar on the command line.

WL Unable to create session for users behind proxies

Hi,
I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out this problem.
We are using WL6.1. We have two main apps each in their own
wl domain. User logs into app1 and clicks on a link that redirects
them to app2. App1 is load-balanced across two wl servers with
no clustering enabled. App2 is load-balanced across two wl
servers with clustering enabled. They are front-ended by five
apache servers and the apache servers are front-ended by an
altion load balancer. For some users (so far almost all of our
customers in Australia and a few corporate customers on the east
coast) wl under app2 cannot create a session for the user during
the redirect. For all other users it works. App1 and App2 only
set the http headers for no-cache (we know we need to set the
meta-tags as well, but have not seen a problem yet). The user
has session cookies enabled and successfully gets a session from
app1. The only difference between app1 and app2 is that when
the user logs into app1 it is via SSL. In app2, we call
request.getSession(true) (which returns a session object)
and then later on (during the same request) call
request.getSession(false) and it returns null. Has
anyone experienced anything similiar, or provide any helpful
information?????
NOTE: We are unable to reproduce this problem in any of our
environments, even when we setup a proxy for all our http
traffic. We turned off clustering on app2 and still wl cannot
successfully create a new session.

Can you try adding the EJB 3.0 facet to your JPA project. Typically, JPA are initially a Utility faceted project, so you must remove this facet first and then select the EJB facet. There will also be an accompanying "Oracle WebLogic EJB Extensions" 10.3.6 facet that you will need to select.
Steps:
1. Rt Click the Project>Properties>Project Facets
2. Uncheck the Utility Module(You may have to right click it and select unlock)
3. Check The EJB Module Facet
4. Check the Oracle WebLogic EJB Extensions 10.3.6.
Then attempt to generate the session beans as before.

Unable to set status for subscreen

Dear Experts,
In my subscreen, I want to set the fct code for enter.
I am not able to set the status so that i can provide the fct code under the standard function keys.
In my subscreen I have a list of input screen fields, when i enter the first input field and press enter i want to move to the next field.
Please provide me an alternative so that i can set the status and write the relavant code using set/get cursors.

You only need set a status for main screen at the output event. In this status, you need assign a function code to 'Function Keys'-> this first function button, it`s 'Enter'. you can debug to see it.
the PAI event of subscreen also will response this function code, then you can control your cursor in PBO, blow code is module of subscreen:

Unable to set ringtone for each contact

After upgrade to the 5.1.1 iOS I was not able to set individual ringtone to each of contact anymore.
All my contacts are using the same default ringtone when ever anyone calls.
When I go into contact and hit edit I can see the different ringtone already setup for each contact and when I click it I can hear it play just fine. Then I exit and went back to main screen and try to call the phone and it still using the default ringtone.
Any idea how did this happen or how to fix it? I am trying not to reset the phone.

When you call your phone from another, is your iPhone picking up the caller ID that is in your Contacts, or does the incoming call just have a number (or maybe "unavailable")?
Also, there should be no harm in Resetting your iPhone, that is not the same as Restoring it (even if you did Restore it, you could back it up first and re-load the backup as long as your Contacts and Camera Roll are backed up somewhere).
