Unable to Synchronize

I have an MI Server Installed. It worked well for nearly a month. The server version info in brief is WebAS 6.40 with SP20. MI Client's version is SP20.Now I am getting a strange problem. For a new installation of  the Client, when I create a new User in the client (As usual) which is already created in the MiddleWare, and sync for the First time, I am not getting the Device ID generated. The trouble is, it is not showing any synchronizing errors. The screen simply says "Synchronization Completed".
Attached is the Trace file from the Client (Debugging Mode). There is one entry from where I want you to take careful notice of; I have bolded the same below. Has anybody faced this problem before? I have checked the CCMS monitors for any errors, but to no avail. The trace is where I have got the confusion. Further for your information, all the background jobs are running properly.

    <b>The Enviroment:</b>
    <b>Sever called erick:</b>
    1) First i install NW2004s  ABAP + JAVA + MI 7.0, SP 6 over Oracle 10.2
    2) After that i Update:
    Kernel to version 83
SAINT, ABA, Basis to SP 10
JSPM, NWCLIENT, NWLAP, NWADMIN, NWDRIVERS to SP 10 for MI 7.0
    3) After that, i used the MI template going to my server: http://erick:50100/nwa, login as J2EE_ADMIN, deploy & changes.... it appears to work... but when a login into the web system it says:
System Landscape Directory is not accessible.
Local System Only can be administrate. (maybe here is the key)
    <b>On the Client side:</b>
Windows XP + NW developer Studio Version: 7.0.10 + MI Client (I extract this from the NWCLIENTNT10_0-20000910.SCA, SAP Mobile Infrastructure, Version MI 70 SP10 Pacht 0 )

MI Logon Information: eilarraza, this user was the one that i create to update the system in the server, it has: SAP_ALL, and SAP_NEW permissions.

Searching in the forum i arrive to a Excellent BLOG: http://jogel.sdn.googlepages.com/milad
(Literally i read all the BLOG, is very good for the newbies, it is a excellent work)
I Install the mobile application using a tool called LAD, i restart the MI Client, and the application is Installed!!! But when a try to Syncronized it i received the same error:
    Syncronization Started.

    Hi Jo Santiago, Sivakumar V
Thanks a lot for your help!
<b>Jo</b>: I made Pings to erick:
Ping statistics for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: (i removed the local ip)
    Packects: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0  (0% loss), Works perfect.
nslookup does not work, maybe because all the machines are in a local network.
I am investigating about: ICM Logon and SLD. I don't know what it is that, i Remember that in the installation phase i say NO when he ask me to install the SLD.
    <b>Sivakumar:</b>
After the 3 Steps, the services (that were down) now are UP but when a try to test the service he ask me for:
Enter username and password for "SAP Web Application Server [ERI] at http://erick:8001
I try with <b><i>J2EE_ADMIN + Master Password</i></b>, I always use this user to go into the Web Server.
    Logon failed.
    Note
Logon performed in system ERI .
Logon performed for client 001 and language EN.
Them i try with: SAP*, and eilarraza (SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW permissions)
    It does not work.
After i try to synchronize the MI Client (with the services mi_host and mi_services UP). But it does not work.
So who is exactly the middleware user? The J2EE_ADMIN? or the one that i create with SAP* to update the system to SP10 (It has SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW permissions, in my case is called eilarraza) Maybe the problem is that i a not using the correct user in the MI Client configuration neither in the test of the service.

Since I updated my MacBook Pro's OS X version 10.6.8 to Mavericks 10.9.2, I am unable to synchronize my Address and Calendar Books informations with my iPhone 4 via iTunes.  What do I need to do to update these data ?

  • Failed to authenticate & Unable to synchronize login time

    Hi,
My OSX clients are bound to OSX Server.
Most clients are 10.8, some are 10.9.
Server is 10.10, recently migrated from 10.6.8.
Most clients can log in to the user accounts in good order.
However I have a couple of clients that cannot log in (they both happen to be 10.9 clients).
The login box just shakes when credentials for any network user are enetered.
When this happens the systme.log on client shows:
Oct 30 09:33:24 imac1252 SecurityAgent[166]: User info context values set for userxyz
    Oct 30 09:33:25 imac1252 authorizationhost[182]: Failed to authenticate user <xyz> (error: 9).
The system.log on 10.10 server shows:
DSUpdateLoginStatus: Unable to synchronize login time for userxyz: 77009
I have checked the time and time zones on server and client and they are identical.
Does anyone have any guidance, please?
    Thanks,
    b.

I spent some hours with Apple Support on this.
Apple Support logged into my server, had me do some testing from different clients with them watching, detroyed & rebuilt OD database, tested with a brand new fresh OD database, uploaded some files for analysis, etc.
    The problem is...
Looking back 8 years or so, my mobile user accunts were created on server 10.6 (or maybe even 10.4 can't remember that far back )
OSX server (back then) did not require or even have have a certiftcate for these accounts.
    Jumping forward to today...
Server 4 on 10.10 requires a certificate for 10.9 clients (and above). But my my OD database (created years ago) does not have a certificate for the accounts to use, and they would not know anything about it even if I created one.
So, support tell me the only option to get things working again is to destroy and rebuild the OD database. I can keep Users, Groups etc, by exporting, but I will need to recreate all passwords.
I will do that in due course.
In the meantime my workaround is to have 10.9 users disconnect from network at the time they enter their login password. They can reconnect as soon as they hit 'return'.

Hi Jen.  My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse.  Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too.  Now to the problem at hand.  I have the same problem.  I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade.  Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade.  But I'm sure other factors are involved.  Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem:  What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it.  Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade.  Hope this works.   Charlie

  • Users are unable to synchronize document libraries with OneDrive for Business

    Hello,
We are having an issue with our users attempting to synchronize document libraries with OneDrive for Business. When a user tried to synchronize the document library either via the "SYNC" button on the document library page using IE or by
manually entering the document libraries path into the OneDrive for Business desktop app they receive the following error
"We can't connect to the specified SharePoint site". The users have the Edit permission to both the site and the document library. I have performed the following actions in attempt to get the synchronization to work.
    1. Tested giving user the owner permission to the site and document library. same result.
    2. Performed a repair on the users Office 2013 installation.
An interesting point to note is that I myself am able to synchronize the document libraries using both the "SYNC" button on the document library site and by entering the path manually in the desktop app. Difference between my account and the test
accounts is that I'm a site collection administrator and farm administrator. Can anyone shed some light onto this issue?

    Hi Corey,
According to your description, my understanding is that the users cannot sync document libraries with OneDrive for Business.
I recommend to check the Permission Level to see if the Use Client Integration Features permission is selected.
If not, check this permission in the corresponding permission level which is granted to the users.
Please also check if the users have the right permission to sync the document library with OneDrive for Business.

  • Unable to synchronize the Address Book on the BB Device with Outlook Software 2010 Contacts

    Enviroment :
    Device Black Berry Bold 9700
    Back Berry Device Software V6
    Cause of problem :
On the BB Device there are 2 Adress Books with the same name.
The first one with 109 elements and the flag for wireless synchronization
The second, which is of most importance to me since it includes my business address book, contains 1837 elements and does NOT have the flag for wireless synchronization.
Whenever I  try to synchronize the BB Device with the PC , using Black Berry Device Software on my Windows 7 based PC and Outlook 2010 Application Software, only the first Adress Book appears active.
I tried to solve the problem through the BB Support Forum (see link below)
    http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB1...
and regretfully I found out that no solution are available so far.
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
The suggested Work Around doesn't work.
Since both address books could be cleaned but not erased, it is impossible to delete the first address book and subsequently synchronize the right data .
I tried to synchronize the BB Device with the Windows contacts but the result is the same: the synchronization works only for the first (small) Address Book.
Another bit of info, to worsen the situation: last week the HDD (internal disk) on my PC crashed, therefore I lost all my data; as a result, the only correct Address Book  data available is inside the Black Berry device (larger list, which is the second, as stated above) , thus I absolutely need to recover all the 1837 addresses included, since they are vital for my business work.
I need your help to solve this situation caused by an evident Black Berry Software bug.
    Thanks in advance

I do not receive any suggestions to solve my problem.
After 6 month the problem is very urgent, my business address book is vital for my work.
I have only the copy on the Device Black Berry Bold 9700 and I absolutely need to have a copy of the address book on my computer.
Do you have solved the bug.
I need a quick answer and a final right solution
    Thanks

  • I am unable to synchronize my computer iCal with iCloud.

I have a MacBook Pro laptop, a MacPro and an iPhone 5.  I have an iCloud account activated on computers and iPhone.  I wish to make iCloud the default Calendar, so that any entries on laptop or on iPhone can be synchronized.  I have not been able to get iCal on iCloud to respond or synchronize.  Any entries made on laptop iCal do not appear on iCloud.  The iPhone calendar also remains blank and does not record any entries made on laptop.  In other words, none of the devices will communicate with each other or with the Cloud.  I have searched Apple help pages and completed the setup instructions and trouble shooting questions which are relevant, with no success.
Can anyone give me some help?  Thanks,

Are your iCal calendars listed under On My Mac or iCloud?  (You should be able to view them on the left side of iCal.  If you don't see them, click on "Calendars" on the top left.  Then check to see what heading your calendars are listed under.)

  • Unable to synchronize the time with chrony (probably..)

    Hi all,
i've switched to systemd and set up chrony (with networkmanager-dispatcher-chrony) to correctly set the time.
Still, if i run timedatectl status i get
Local time: Sun, 2012-10-28 20:09:14 CET
Universal time: Sun, 2012-10-28 19:09:14 UTC
    Timezone: Europe/Rome
    NTP enabled: yes
    NTP synchronized: no
    RTC in local TZ: no
From what i read, it seems that chrony actually syncs to the server, but than it doesn't set the time correctly. Is it right? And if so, why?

I was having the same issue with Chrony, which is why I did some research (and found a possible fix) which could be of use to you. Please see this topic, specifically issue 3, for more information.

  • HT1719 Hi I'm unable to synchronize music from library to ipod - no music displayed on ipos

    Hi
I have downloaded CDs to my library, which were showing on my Ipod.  I then went on to download some a new CD which synchronized, but then didn't show up on the Ipod and deleted all the first albums downloaded - therefore no music on the ipad whatsoever, but the original music is still in the library.  Can someone please help!

    Hi Jo,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
These articles should give you the steps to make sure all of your music is synced to your device:

  • Full automatic Itunes synchronization impossible for a brand new Ipod touch 5th generation

    Hey all,
I bought a brand new Ipod Touch 5th generation which won't synchronize my whole music library through Itunes (very latest version of the app).
The ipod runs IOS8 and the mac mini runs Yosemite latest version.
I already had issue synchronizing music the very 1st day I had the Ipod touch. As a result, went back to the Apple store for changing it for another device, thinking the Ipod was faulty, which Apple accepted and changed my device for a brand new one.
Since then, still unable to synchronize the full music library through itunes. I performed several full resets both on the mac mini and of the Ipod touch with no success. The synchronization seems to run fully normally with no warning pop up saying it failed or whatsoever and the sync process is very very long. But once done, my Ipod remains empty with no data at all.
The weird thing is that Photos are fully synchronized with no issue at all.
I contacted the Apple assistance who argued that my music library might be faulty and have corrupted files in it. So I cleaned it up, suppressing some files I had in double etc.
BUT still, no success, I had to go through the entire library to sync manually, but even then, I was able to have on the device, only half of the library, i.e. around 25 go. once the ipod display 25 to 30 gb remaining, it won't sync no more files.
Although I cleaned up the entire library and reset both devices hundreds of times, I have no clue why even manually, I'm completely unable to have my whole library automatically sync.
I spent hours on the phone with Apple assistance to get some help with no success so far. I even re-installed Itunes completely, still without any result at all.
I was only able to upload on the Ipod only half of the music library, and there are still 25 to 30 GB space remaining on the ipod and 20GB of music to be uploaded.
The automatic sync process always fails any time I try to run it, except for the photos, books etc.
I must say I also have an 160 GB Ipod classic with which I never had any problem so far, and which fully sync my whole library with no issue at all.
I read on the internet that some other users of IOS8 are accountering the same issue with itunes.
COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP, I'M DESPERATE, given the price of the Ipod I really do regret I bought something that does not work properly. Quite disappointed

Yes the system just keep sync as everything is normal, but then no song is actually uploaded to the ipod.
And the remaining space bar shows the ipod's empty.
the automated process will just keep sync as if normal and the last step saying 'applying the modifications" just keep going on and never ends.
I was only able to upload manually half of the albums, all songs comes from different sources; ripped from CD for great part, but also downloaded from the internet from trusted websites.
All songs play normally through Itunes on the Mac Mini.
But then when trying to sync the whole library automatically, nothing happens and I only get tags of the different albums, as if there, but actually it won't play none and the Ipod player just keep skipping as if no musical data is there.

  • DW CS3 Refuses to Synchronize!

This may be related to the
    previous
post, but my symptoms are slightly different so I thought I'd
    post separately.
I had Studio8 installed, and upgraded yesterday to CS3 (this
is on an intel Mac running 10.4.9). It was nice that CS3 detected
and imported all of my existing sites for me. However, I'm
    completely unable to synchronize.
When I try, Dreamweaver reports that no sync. is necessary
(not true). Furthermore, when I ask it to display the list of files
for manual disposition, no files are listed even if I've tried to
sync the entire site. The whole process takes about 1 second on a
site with thousands of files (a normal sync check should take about
30 seconds for this particular site). To make matters worse, when I
reopen the site back in Studio8, the same problem now happens
there, too. Note that I had absolutely no problem syncing just
    prior to installing CS3.
I have not found a solution to this problem. Restarting DW,
rebooting, recreating my site cache, unchecking "Maintain Sync.
Info" in the site preferences and subsequently rechecking it after
rebuilding the site's cache, blowing away my various "_notes"
directories...all have failed. Apparently, I'm going to be unable
to sync. This is a seriously not good.
If anyone has a work-around or knows what could be causing
this problem, *please* let me know.

    @David - we cross-posted. I didn't see your response.
    Answers to your questions:
    1. Modify a file and save it. Is the modified date/time the
    current
    date/time?
[Steve] Yes, it's the current date/time both in the Finder
    and in DW's browser. 5/4/07 2:36pm (local)
    2. In the expanded view of the Files panel, what's the remote
    server say
    for the modified date/time?
    [Steve] 5/4/07 2:26pm
    3. In the Files panel, right-click the local file and chose
    Display
Synchronize Information. What does it say? The important part
    is just the
first few lines (the explanation text is static text that we
    don't need):
[Steve] "There is no synchronize informaption for [file].
    This is probably because..."
Manually putting the file, and looking again, it now says:
    File: [myfile]
Local Remote Time: 5/4/07 2:36 PM
    Remote Time: 5:4:07 2:41 PM
I then made an edit. The local timestamp is 2:42pm. I select
the file and try to synchronize it. I still get the "No sync. is
necessary" dialog, and, like before, if I ask to look at the files,
    the list is empty.
Looking at the Display Synchronize Info dialog again, I see
    the timestamps updated:
Local Remote Time: 5/4/07 2:36 PM
    Remote Time: 5/4/07 2:41 PM
Local Testing Time: File has not be transferred to/from this
    server
Testing Time: File has not be transferred to/from this server
Note that Dreamweaver still believes the file hasn't been
    transferred even though it has!
Also note that the Display Synchronize Info local timestamp
does not match the one in the file pane, even after
    refreshing.

  • Unable to open Doc to Go files after Hotsynch

Switched to new laptop with Vista 32 bit. I successfully installed what I need for my TX (I think it is Palm 6.2; I went to palm.com and downloaded the software for a newer version) as far as Contacts, Calendar, etc. I registered for a trial of DataViz for my files. Sent my Word files to Docs to Go. They were displayed in the window. Hotsynched. The files on my Palm cannot be opened. The message us: Application Missing. "The application to open this document cannot be found".
Went to Dataviz and searched for a solution. Downloaded what I thought would correct the problem These files were sent to the Install Tool. I Hotsynched, but I do not think that they were sent to my Palm, because when I open the Applications on my Palm and look under "info", I cannot find the files. I did search the forum here, but really could not find the solution.
I probably need to uninstall DataViz and then reinstall? I guess that I am unsure how to proceed. My Contacts, Calendar are synching successfully.
I depend on my Palm for portable files; is there another application besides DataViz for this? I fully intend to purchase the DataViz if I am just able to get it to work.
I am not very computer literate, so any help will need to be dumbed-down. Thanks!
    Post relates to: Palm TX

WyreNut: I purchased the DataViz software. I deleted it from my laptop first. Download completed without problem. At the point it asked me to synch with the TX, I completed this step, but received an error message in the Log: "Documents to Go unable to synchronize with the handheld device because a previous version exists on the handheld". I Went to Applications on the TX, selected from the upper left corner drop down choices, clicked "Delete" and went through the list and found one file that was DataViz. I deleted this file. I downloaded and synched again with the same results. I cannot find any DataViz file on my TX. On the opening screen, I cannot even open Documents when I click on that choice. I do not even know how to find the files on the TX. I know that I did not uninstall the previous, older version of DataViz before I started this whole process. Do you think that I will have to do a hard reset? Is it possible that I have corrupted files on the TX?
    Thanks for any direction! sissysmom
