Unauthorized 401 error message
Some users of my website get an unauthorized message when trying to log into my website? The site is password protected?
Internet Explorer is a total pain as stuff that works in one version doesn't in another. Its unbelievable how many people are still using versions 6 & 7.
IE V 8 added all these security measures which made things worse. I wonder if its this version that's causing the problem? I'm not very familiar with IE 8 because, anytime I'm on a PC, I give up on it in frustration and download Google Chrome.

When security in not enbaled then the application works fine. But when security is enabled then the home page opens up. But when any link or edit link is clicked one erros comes up as pop-up in the browser. The pop up displays the error as unauthorized error=401. After a page refresh the link again works fine. But again another link or the same link gives same problem in the same session. Can anyone please help me on this issue?

Error Message "Track contains unauthorized assets"
I am getting a message at the map view on the first box of the autoplay slideshow that says: "Track contains unauthorized assets". Nothing points to where this asset is. I went through the project info section and everything checks out. The behavior of the "Pass Through" theme is to not keep the picture I selected for each menu (main, chapter, extra) to be jumbled around and the pass through is not the picture of this menu when I burn. These errors are manifesting and after reading so much through the help menu I am at a loss.
I do not have any iTunes protected music in this iDVD. It is only my photos and garageband music.I have an image in the auto play well. On another machine I started up a new iDVD project with a different theme, and the auto play well gave the same "Track contains unauthorized assets" error message even though I had nothing in it.
What messes up the project the most though is on the "Play Through" theme as the text goes by, instead of the image that is on this page coming through the text, another image from another menu page comes through. -

Hi,
We're getting a 401 error message from a Trading Partner (TP). They say there is no password required to get to their website. From their end, the request doesn't send a certificate with it. The TP certificate has 2048 keysize, while the wallet and our other TPs have 1024 keysize.
Could the problem be with the transport endpoint or the TP certificate?
Here is the error from the b2b.log:

Thankyou,
LavarWhen I telnet to the host, I get (Connection to tp.com closed by foreign host.
I went to the TP URL and save the certificate as Base 64. I then loaded that into my wallet as a Trusted Certificate.
I see TP.com in the wallet as a Trusted Certificate with an expiration date of July 28, 2010 and Key Size 2048.
We still get the same 401 error message. The TP is saying that we are not receiving a certificate on their end. I guess that means there is a problem with encoding and encryption.
I loaded the TP Verisign certificate into my browser as a CA Root.
Now I get a pop up box, when I go to the website that wants me to choose a digital certificate.
There are not any digital certificates to choose from, so I can only click OK or Cancel.
After clicking OK or Cancel, I get prompted for a password.
There seems to be trust isses between our server and the TP's server. :)
I asked the trading partner to send me their Root certificate, in case they have a different Verisign certificate.
Thank you,

Rpcproxy.dll unauthorized 401 for some users
When i test my outlook anywhere installation on exchange 2010, depending on the user i get a rpcproxy.dll unauthorized 401 error.
What groups should the users belong to?There is no group membership required for Outlook Anywhere access. Probably your Outlook Anywhere is misconfigured.

The most usual problem is the certificate being used and the CertPrincipalName setting.

The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized error message
Hi
While processing security (OLS v4.3 SQL2000), we encounter the following problem towards the end of the process:
Creating Desktop folders
Completed
Error occurred
CreateJournalReport: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized., FindAppsetFolder Failed
We have checked the IIS as recommended in some previous threads but we still have the same error message each time we process security.
Does anyone have any other ideas what the problem could be?
Many thanksHi,
There are several SAP notes speaking about this subject. For example, check if SAP note numbers 1103004 or 1104690 can help you.
Kind Regards,

ABAP Client Proxy error code: 401, error text: Unauthorized
Hi,
I have Client proxy in ECC for oubound interface in PI 7.0, when i look into SXMB_MONI of ECC i can see my message with Error "HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized Authorization error while sending by HTTP (error code: 401, error text: Unauthorized)".
As per few thread i already assign SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER role to PIAPPLUSER in ECC, still i am getting same eror.
I do not understand how this Proxy communication work, which ECC user will be use in communication and how this communcation link to RFC destination "SAP_PROXY_ESR" type G. Even i can not see type H in ECC so i created RFC destination of type G.
With Regards
SunilWe were able to get it working by making a change in the Integration Engine Configuration (in sxmb_adm).
Changed "Corresponding Integ. Server" from "http://<server>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry"
to "dest://RFCdestinationName" -

DELL Windows XPProblems connecting to the iTunes Music Store usually stem from issues with the Windows firewall, a privacy filter (such as Mcafee) or a download accelerator. Start here:

for some basic tips to start isolating the cause of the problem. Your ISP (or your network administrators if you're on a company network) may have also changed something that is now blocking access.

Execution failed: Transport error: 401 Error: Unauthorized
Hi,
I'm trying to communicate via a web services from the workspace and I SUP 2.2 generates the following error "Execution failed: Transport error: 401 Error: Unauthorized".
Could someone guide me to solve this error.Hi Carlos,
Sometime back I faced an error says "error executed on backend server: connection timeout" while creating mbo using one publicly available web service and after passing proxy settings in workspace, it worked.
http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/mobility-platform/blog/2014/05/14/how-to-bypass-proxy-settings-in-smp-workspace-for-connecting-any-public-web-service-being-in-a-corporate-network
but error showing in the mentioned snapshot is much related to authorization. Btw are you able to access the web service URL in a browser? Asking any kind of authorization?
Rgrds,
JK
