Unexpected Error during get latest
I support RoboHelp and RoboSource for a couple people in my
company. One of them recently has been having issues while
performing a get latest on all the files when RoboHelp initially
starts up. In the middle of the get latest an error message pops up
"Unexpecte Error: please contact the system administrator." When
she clicks okay the get latest stops midstream, without getting
many of the files. I am the system administrator and have no idea
what the issue is. I made sure all the files from both of the
client computers were checked in properly. And still the error.
Just as a side note, we are still on RoboHelp X5 and the help
system we have created is rather large.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Seth,
this error message is extremely helpful, isn't it? ;-)
It can have any number of reasons, but in my experience the
most probaböe ones are:
- The project has been added to RSC by importing the
respective folders using RoboSource Control Explorer instead of
using the Add to Version Control command from within RoboHelp
Office. Therefore, the database contains several files which must
not be there. Look for the project's cbd-file in the database; if
it's there, this will be the cause.
- The database is corrupt. Stop the RoboSource service on the
server and run a jetcomp over the database.
If the problem persists, please ask again; I'm under a slight
time pressure right now.

Workspace : Unexpected error during interactive component execution
Hi !
During execution, we have random events where this error appears. It appears for different field names and objects. The error code is displayed in the workspace and this is an excerpt of the workspace log.
We have 2 workspaces using websphere. We noticed that in the past, a few times this was solved by synchronizing the nodes. I does not get fixed like that anymore.
Any clues? this same deployed application worked in the past, it was not updated.
THANKS,
Regards,
Matias

Unexpected error during HTTP request to voucher server The operation timed out
I read books from my library through a system called READS. I have successfully used DE 1.0 without any problems, however, when I tried to use it recently it required me to upgrade to 1.5. Well I did so and now the books won't authorize. Here is the error message I am getting:

I have tried this multiple times with more than one book. Again, they worked just fine before I did the upgrade. I am running Vista SP1.Never mind, they obviously post the message on the ticket, but it doesn't send an e-mail. I will try what they indicated. Here is their response...

Inside your BPM Object you probably have a method that makes the database call. I'm assuming that you might be using Dynamic SQL in your method.
If this is the case then make sure that this method has the property set to "Server Side".

An unexpected error during Command execution
Hi,
I am using Project Server 2007 SP 2 at the moment. One of our user keeps encountering this error "An unexpected error during Command execution" for a project file. We tried to restore the earlier version of the plan using Administrative restore.
But it only works as a temporary fix as the problem keeps reapprearing. Kindly help.Only SP2 for Project 2007? Probably not worth trying to debug, with 2007 it is almost essential to have SP3 and the very last cumulative update for Project pro and Server. 2007 was a very buggy version (they were forced to release at same time as Office
2007 and it was too soon).

I am trying to get a new Time Capsule setup. It's starts the process but when it trys to to join an existing network I get the error, "An unexpected error occured. Try again."
I have tried resetting etc, any thoughts?
Thanks,
-EdJoin a network is not an approved Apple setup for the TC and why it is hidden.
I suggest you avoid it if at all possible because the moment it works the ethernet ports will be shut off.
Anyway if you are determined.. the security type must match.. generally that means you cannot use wpa/wpa2.. it is not specific.. use wpa2 AES on the router you are joining and wpa2 personal on the TC.
Remember joining wireless to another brand device is never a 100% guaranteed operation. You cannot ever be 100% sure it will work.. wireless chipsets from different manufactures simply will not work together. Apple designed their stuff to work with other apple routers.. so you use extend not join. You may end up having to think up another way to do things. -

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward. -
Unexpected error during mapping execution
Hello,
we are implementing business intelligence for Siebel 8.1. Having one strange issue and hoping anybody could help us out.
We are using OWB 10.2.0.1. Certain error appears during mapping execution LOAD_SR which basically loads service requests from Siebel DB to data warehouse.
The mapping is using two tables as input (S_SRV_REQ and S_SRV_REQ_X) which are joined by S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID (+) using Joiner operator, because I always need extension table (S_SRV_REQ_X) rows either filled either containing only nulls (when there is no corresponding extension row). Sadly, this does not work, during execution it generates:
Error:
ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype
ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 32
ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 3507
ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 4553
ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 9984
ORA-06512: at line 1
Warning:
ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype
In summary, these join conditions generate same error as above:
S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID (+)
S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID (+) = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID (+)
S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID
Strangely, when I use join condition S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID (+) = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID, it works. But then right join is used and some records get rejected by joiner operation (those who do not have corresponding rows in extension table).
Could someone help me with this issue?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time reading this!

"unexpected error" during export to html
I absolutely love the new feature to export flash to javascript/html. However with a particularly complex animation I'm building I keep getting this error when I try to test or publish the file. Through process of elimination I know that this error is caused because there is too much going on in my project.
So my question is this: Is there a maximum capacity for flash's new html document feature?
I'm creating an animation where line art city gets built up, and the only way I know how to do this is put individual keyframes for each step of the way. I have only about 10 keyframes and it throughs this error, but I'm also wondering if there's a better approach I could be taking to making my project do what I want. I've built similar animations in this way, and they all have worked fine, but I assume they worked because there was less complexity going on in them. I suspect the error is cause because the animation has to draw each intricate detail for every keyframe, and this ends up being an extremely large javascript file.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Here's an image of the error:Hi,
Can you please share the fla file for which you are facing the error on export?
Thanks!

Live Encoder unexpected error during encoding
Hi all
We are using FMLE to record video with an MS Studio Web Cam.
Intermittently when recording to file with the VP6 encoder I get this error.
The encoder will stop and restart encoding, breaking the files up into
almost exactly the same size files, 24 meg.
The computer is a desktop Gateway with plenty of horsepower and memory.
Encoding to file at 1280 x 720, 25 FPS 2000 KBPS and audio at 192 KBPS,
the cpu load is only running 50 to 60 %.
We are running an M Audio Fasttrack, usb interface to bring audio in from a
live recording mix.
Any ideas?
Thanks
MikeWe believe we're running into this problem because the response contains an element which in the WSDL has the type anyType. We have written our own deserialization code for the response by going into the generated response serializer classes and taking over the deserialization. The generated deserialization code uses Sun's xml reader implementation and we've written our custome deserialization code using this reader since this reader is the only thing that gives us access to the response. But we're concerned about this since for a couple of reasons:
1) we're editing generated code
2) we're using Sun's implementation classes (XMLReader)
Is there some other better way to integrate our own deserialization for processing the response? Note that we still want to take advantage of the generated serializers for the request part.

Unexpected error during initial setup
An exepected error occurs during the initial set of my time capsule. I've unplugged and replugged the modem and time capsule, what do I try next?
Do the setup in complete isolation.. Plug the TC into the computer by ethernet.. do a factory reset and start again.
Is the Lion OS correct?
If so you can use the older v5 utility which is often better.
What version TC is it? -
Unexpected errors during AirDisk copying
I am now unable to copy files or folders or any major length without the entire copy process failing due to the following error message:
"Sorry, the operation could notbe completed because an unpexted error occurred (Error code -50)."
ACK! This *****. What's the value of AirDisk if I can't backup my files?!I am receiving this error all the time now. I currently have a 300GB USB 2.0 Hard-drive (formatted HFS+). The exact error message that I am receiving is:
Cannot copy FullBackup: An unexpected network error occured.
The FullBackup is a backup file of my entire hard-drive. My main point of buying this router was to use it as a networked backup storage device. The file is 34GBs.
This is happening on both my iMAC as well as my Windows XP machine.
Can someone please shed some light. -
