After I mae hide a column how do I make it visible again in resource sheet?

Either right click on the columns' headers and select "insert column", or scroll to the right and click on the "add new column".

Hi Dennis,
Numbers doesn't have a built-in Paste Special > Transpose the way you have in Excel. However, there are ways to do this in Numbers that are not difficult.
Here are two ways:
Approach 1:
Select the row of numbers, and command-c to copy to the system clipboard.
Click on the canvas and command-v to paste, automatically creating a new table.
With that new table still selected, in your menu choose Table > Transpose Rows and Columns.
Select the cells in the transposed table, command-c to copy, click once in a cell of the destination column of your target table, and command-v to paste.
Approach 2: (after a quick installation, very similar to Excel's built-in Paste Special > Transpose)
Download this Copy Transpose Automator Service, and double-click to install (if necessary choosing Open Anyway in System Preferences > Security and Privacy).
Thereafter to use just:
select the row of numbers you want to copy
with the cells still selected, choose Copy Transpose from the Numbers > Services menu
click once in the destination column and command-v to paste the transposed values.
Note that the second approach does not handle cells with formulas, whereas the first approach will.

Hi All, I am trying to roll up time sheet data in Resource sheet, When I am opening Actual Summary Sheet as Resource Manager -> Resource Sheet -> Actual Summary a property pop up window opening. In which Business Process drop down list does not contain any BP ? I am expecting to load Time sheet BP. Can anybody help me out please?

I had copied these .class & .xml files under Myclasses -> oracle.apps.icx and oracle.apps.po and oracle.apps.fnd was same which comes part of the standard OA tutorial.
I copied same under Myprojects as well.
you have to decompile the class file into java file and then place it in Myproject directory , also copy all dependency files like BC4J components , and then
try to run from Jdeveloper .
Alternatively you can get the entire ICX folder and zip it and add it via library .

To unhide the columns of " Record Working Time " table

Can any one suggest me how to unhide some columns of the table "Record Working Time" .
Actually I have tried the following procedure : content admin -> portal content -> iview -> Rclickctrlalt and check the property of the table and displayed all the columns . It shows all the columns perfectly .
Finally , when I checked the table in Employee self service -> Working time -> Record working time , I can not see some columns which are visible in content admin "Record Working Time " iview .

I have all the administration right . When I check the iview in 'Content Admin' I can see all the columns , but when I check the same iview under 'ESS role' i can not see some of the columns of "Record Working Table ". That is my problem . Can you tell me what is the reason behind it ? I always save all the changes after any modification .

Blank column in spread sheet when i am downloading?

i have developed ALV report used ( layout also in that ).displaying 19 fields in the output. but when i am downloading spread sheet iam getting one blank column in spread sheet.(but all 19 fields are comming ). i dont know why i am getting second column is blank? but otherthan spreadsheet format is not getting any blank column.
here for the purpose of change layout and save layout i am using

VENUM field which is in internal table but not displaying the output. is this any problem?
Suppose if i take DATA: gv_boxnam TYPE slis_fieldname value 'VBELN'. which is in internal table and displaying the output..in this case i m not getting the VBELN in the output..i am getting only 18 fields in the output.

Raghu.the download is a copy of the table behind the ALV display. It sounds like the table for the ALV display contains a column that is flagged as no output?

How to unhide the column in Alv table

Initially i have created webdynpro Alv table with 8 columns ,later i have added one more attribute/column to the node to display extra column
but in the output ,alv table not displaying the 9th column,Instead the column is getting hidden which i came to know clicking on settings in alv table output.If i make changes in Alv table settings it getting displaying,can anyone tell me how to unhide this field.

It is possible that the user you are loggin in with, might have a layout saved.
You can try logging in with different user and see if its still hidden.
The explicit code to hide and unhide a column :
lo_alv_column->set_visible( if_wdl_core=>visibility_none ).
may be you can use the above code and make column visibility true(cahnge parameter).

The Work field in the Resource Sheet is calculated total hours for each resource based on the Duration in the Gantt chart. However, I have another field in the Gantt chart named Duration1 and I want Work field in the Resource Sheet to be calculated based

This would allow us to work in the same plan while comparing the plan (by Start/Finish, Work in Gantt, Work in Resource Sheet, and Cost) before and after implementation. If not, then I guess we can have two copies of the plan (one for before implementation
and the other for after) with Duration and Work where task type is fixed Duration.
A few comment:
baselined Work doesn't reflect input values of Work field : when you
save a baseline, the behavior is the same for all data copied in the baseline fields. The current value is stored is the corresponding baseline field. Ie when saving baseline n, work is copied in the baselinework n and duration is copied in the baselineduration
n.
Actual Work = time it took to complete the task
: actual work is the effort and not the time it took to complete the task
is there a way to compare Baseline Work with Actual Work for each resource : if you split your screen and display the task form with work
information, you'll see for each assignment work, actual work, baseline work, remaining work. Another way, if you need it timephased, is to use the resource or task usage views and add the baseline, actual and planned work (double clicking the right part of
your screen).

I find it easier to create links between tables on the one sheet, then move a table to another sheet.
Formula in A2 of Sum table = Data::D2
Created by clicking on A2 of Sum, the type = and click on D2 of Data. Then Fill down. Much easier than flipping between sheets (although you could do that). When ready, select the second table, Edit > Cut (command x). Open the second sheet and Edit > Paste (command v). Formulas will automatically be revised to refer back to the first sheet, if necessary (e.g. if table names are the same).

I'm working with resource, I found "available from" and "available to" column there it shows as 24 hours time for a resource. But i have assigned a calendar as 8 hours working from 8 to 6.
Can any one tell me why it is showing as 24 hours.

HarithaThe available from and available to columns are showing information from the Resource Availability, where you can limit a resource's availability to the project by setting dates. If the resource is assigned outside those dates, they will show as overallocated.
If you want to confirm the resource's working time calendar, click the Change Working Time button in the Resource Information dialog. -

I'm running Excel 2013 and I have one workbook with two sheets - sheet1 and sheet2. Sheet1 has 24 columns and 26K rows. Column "A" is titled "id" and contains
id numbers that are also, some, found in column "A" of Sheet2 - which is also titled "id".
Sheet1 has no "description" column. Sheet 2 only has 2 columns - "A" is the "id" column and "b" is the "description" column.

Utilize the VLOOKUP function and this should resolve it.
For example, in a new column on sheet 1 (Y) a formula like this should suffice assuming ID is in column A:
=VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!A:B,2,FALSE)
Or more elegant:
=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!A:B,2,FALSE),"")

I imported the whole site as divs by splitting the images in photoshop and saving it for web and devices.
This is approach is OK for quick comps to show a client but definitely NOT suitable for a production site. As soon as you attempt to edit your layout, the page will explode and fall apart. This is caused by the rigid/fragile code that graphics apps attempt to generate based on the images sizes.
Start over. Use graphics apps to slice and optimize images only.
