  • Uninstall Failed, Not listed in Creative Cloud Desktop App list

I keep trying to uninstall ANY and ALL of the Creative Cloud programs downloaded on my computer - Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro - and I keep getting the message in the screen shot I've attached. This goes for the CC AND CC 2014 versions. I have them all. None are appearing in my Creative Cloud deskop app. It is saying I have no apps downloaded. Right now I am in the middle of installing all of the CC 2014 versions (even though the programs panel of my computer (Windows 7 64 bit) says all of these programs are already downloaded, screenshot included below also).
In fact, moments ago - today is 10/24 - my install of InDesign CC 2014 just completed yet my computer says it was installed on 10/6???? Yes, even after a reboot.
Please note: This morning I started by uninstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop App and then reinstalling it successfully.
AND YES, I have already tried the Cleaner Tool 5 times, so please DO NOT suggest that. It does not work. I've also rebooted my system several times.
There is no firewall on my computer. Virus checking is not blocking it either.
Any one else experiencing the same? I need this fixed yesterday. I haven't been able to work in 24 hours.
    Please help!

I'm experiencing this same problem where I can't uninstall or install any CC products, and haven't found a resolution yet. The cleaner tool definitely doesn't help and I keep getting messages that the uninstall failed.

    Hi Experts,
I encounter a error message "Add-on XLReporter: Add-on - uninstall failed.", this show up when i start SAP B1 application
    my version: 2005 A (6.80.319) SP: 01 PL: 23
Its any one having the same problem before?
    Please Help
    Thanks

    Hi,
If add-on uninstall failed please try check whats the error in the Event Viewer in the Control Panel then search in the internet for what error.
If you know its safe to uninstall the XL Reporter you can download a free software that will uninstall them forcefully, one of them is the "Your Uninstaller".

  • Uninstall fails for SGD V 4.20 on Red Hat Enterprise 5.3

Hi, when I ran '/opt/.../tarantella start' for the first time on a newly install RHel 5.3 system, surprisingly I got a bunch of errors because I verified that SGD 4.20 was compatible with RHel 5 (says Sun). Afterwards, SGD did not run.
Now I want to unistall SGD and re-run 'rpm -Uvh tta-4.20-983.i386.rpm' but the command './tarantella unistall' fails with the following message:
Are you sure you want to uninstall Secure Global Desktop? [n] y
    /opt/tarantella/bin/scripts/run_tclscript: line 243: exec: -D: invalid option

Any help will be dearly appreciated.
    Thanks all,

    per
    http://docs.sun.com/source/819-4308-10/README.htm#platforms
SGD 4.20 is not supported on RH 5.x
We recommend that you upgrade to at least SGD 4.31 or 4.41 (our current version). Your licenses from 4.20 should be compatible with 4.31 or 4.41. Version 4.20 is now End of Full Support

    To try
    $ tarantella uninstall --purge
    if that fails try

  • ITunes update fails with error 2324, uninstall fails with 2324 as well, no way to run itunes

I have not used itunes for a year or so.  Every time I turn on my Windows 7 x64 desktop, the update fails.
This time I tried to update and got the failure code 2324.  I then decided to just uninstall and start over.  The uninstaller gives me the same error code.  When I try to run the old version of itunes that worked for quite some time I get an error stating the program is not compatible with my operating system.
I am stuck and I cannot call support during normal business hours because I work for a living and won't be in front of my home desktop.

Try to unistall it clean using that microfoft utility
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/
make sure to get rid of all apple stuff using that program, one by one.
Then download installer again, but before disable all firewalls and antivirus.
    and install.

  • Elements 8 uninstall fails

After installing elements 12, I tried to uninstall elements 8.  I deactivated the serial number per the instructions in the uninstall wizard, but the uninstall keeps failing with error 1316: "Network error while attempting to read C:\Windows\Installer Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 msi".

This seems to work, except that Elements 8 still appears in the Control Panel - Programs and Features as an installed application.  If I try to uninstall it tells me it can't uninstall because it isn't installed!  More of an annoyance than a problem.
Is there another registry entry that keeps the program listed even though it is actually uninstalled?
I noticed that in the HKLM\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders although I couldn't find the key listed in guide, there were a lot of other entries related to elements 8.

  • Uninstall fail Photosmart 7510

My Photosmart 7510 would not scan on my XP desktop. Said Photosmart 7510 not found. I tried to re-install the software and got error cannot uninstall Photmart 7510. I then tried to uninstall the software and got the same error. Tried the troubleshooter. When I got to Windows Fixit it failed with unexplained err. The printer is now not accessible from this computer and not only can I not scan I can no longer print.
    This question was solved.

  • Uninstall failing at "Removing Adobe Dynamiclink Support"

    Windows XP Pro SP2.
I'm trying to uninstall Design Premium so I can install Master collection. I'm on my second attempt after restoring the drive from an image. The unistaller is freezing (apparently) at Removing Adobe Dynamiclink Support, about 85% through the process. I did NOT check the remove preferences box.
First time I finally used Task Manager to terminate, then restarted the process through control panel. It seemed to have finished, but left a few things behind (some Rorohiko plugin stuff and custom scripts in ID, and a Configurator custom panel in Photoshop), so I tried to install the Master collection.
That froze, installing the Adobe Dynamiclink support, so I used Task Manager agin and restored the drive. The uninstaller is currently stuck at the same point.
I don't think that having only SP2 is the problem (Design Premium has installed just fine on this machine and my laptop, both on SP2).
Has anyone seen this? The clean script will probably be my next step.
    Peter

I believe I've found the problem, in case anyone else runs across this.
During the first attempt at installing the Master collection, the installer said processcoordinationserver.exe was running and preventing the intallation fom proceeding and should be terminated.
With the uninstall frozen, I checked Task Manager, and the same process was running, so I took a flyer and terminated it. The uninstall completed.
MC installer froze at the same point again, so I wnt back to Task Manager and ended the same process one more time. I'm now about half-way through with the installation, so we'll see.

  • Uninstalled/failed downloads

I have a few items that that failed to download properly (haven't figured out why yet) from the Ovi store.  I can't figure out how to remove them.  Is ther a way to remove these items from the download history?

I have the same problem and I also tried a lot of troubleshooting advices without any success.
The problem seems to be with OS X Parental Control turned on and using a other account than the one of the admin.
The user sl-nw found a short-term solutions (changing back to version 31, working like a charm or turning off Parental Control), yet a long-term solution is needed:

Perhaps Firefox should add a bug fix to their next update.

  • View Agent uninstall failed - View Composer guest server service

    Hello,
I tried to uninstall the View agent 5.3, but the installer hanged on stopping services... portion. Looking at the services.msc, the Horizon View Composer Guest Agent server service was still running. Trying to stop the service manually results in the prompt to stop a dozen more services related to OS. Looking at it, I found that View Composer Guest Agent server has inserted itself as a dependency for BFE, Netlogon, and TCP/IP Protocol Driver services, which also, in turn, makes every services that are dependent on those three services to be dependent on View Composer Guest service.
I am seeing this behavior all the way up to 6.0.2 Agent (not sure about 6.1 Agent). Why is View Composer service inserting itself as a dependency for critical OS services? I mean, really VMware? REALLY??

Thanks Mike and theinfraguys for your suggestions. My problem is resolved.
The solution which worked for me has no logic but it solved my issue.
When my installation stopps at “CcmUnloadWmiProviders. Unloading WMI providers” step client.msi.log file have incomplete entry as “C:\Windows\SysWOW64\C”
At this time I have to restart WMI service and service will not stop correctly so I have to forcefully kill Winmgmt process and setup will continue.
I have to follow same process for upgrading SCCM client.  During client upgrade some time I have to kill ccmexec process too.

  • HT1926 Routine update of iTunes failed. Eventually had to uninstall and reinstall iTunes x2. Installation failed with message 'Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

    Hi,
When I tried to install iTunes update this failed, then tried to uninstall and reinstall itunes twice. Failed again. Could not open iTunes. I use an HP PC. Even tried to disable Macafee firewall, still itunes failed to install. Please help!!

Followed these instructions with a few changes. (Windows 7 x64)
Uninstalled programs in the following order:
    - Itunes
    - Apple Application Support
    - Apple Software Update
    - Bonjour
    - Apple Mobile Device Support (uninstall failed due to Apple Mobile Device failure)***
    - Restarted System
    - Redownloaded Itunes from website.
    - Run installer as Administratot
    - Succefully installed
***To uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support
    - Right clicked on Apple Mobile Device Support, Clicked Charge (second option), Repair, Next (failed to repari)
    - Right clicked the Apple Mobile Device Support in the Programs and Features window and clicked Repair (third option in drop down list). (repaired successfully)
    - Uninstall successful after the repair.
Below is a guess at a quicker solution:
Looking at the uninstalls, it may be worth trying to repair the Apple Mobile Device Support through the Program and Features window before trying to uninstall everything.  It may be a faster fix for the freezing service.  After the repair is successful the itunes update may work.
    Hope this helps.
