Unknown messageID

Hello all,
I am sending out an ORDERS03 IDOC to a partner with the SOAP adapter, with the SOAP enveloppe. Now I am getting the following error back in my sync call:
unknown messageID. Not in the Message version Element XML 'ORDERS03'
What can this be?
Best regards,
Guido

Hi,
Go to IDX5.  Check the Message ID of the IDOC message sent to XI.
Then check the SOAP URL.  I think the formation is not correct.
Check the RWB for your SOAP adapter channel.  Maybe you will find the issue.
award points if useful.
Regard
Abhishek

  • SCCM 2012 SP1 fails to install OSD of Captured Image

I installed Windows Server 2012, Visual Studio Pro 2008, 2010, 2012 and SQL Server 2012 onto a machine. Configured the settings on Windows Server 2012 and SQL 2012 to how the Developers requested to be configured. Ran the Capture Media from SCCM 2012 SP1,
saved to the designated network share. Capture was successful.
I create a TS to deploy the image to the other Dev Servers but it reboots to say no valid operating system found. I checked Monitoring for the Deployment I see the Task sequence but has the following error: Device - Unknown, MessageID - 11170, Description
    - The task sequence manager could not successfully complete execution of the task sequence.
I see in the Apply Operation System from a captured image shows 1-1, 2-2, or 3-3. Does it matter which one I select and if so what does the numbers mean?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

    Hi Blacksuit,
Those numbers of the captured image stand for the indexes that are part of your WIM.  And yes, it does matter which one you select.  In the ConfigMgr console, go to your Software Library > Operating Systems > Operating System Images and select
the image you imported into ConfigMgr.  Then at the bottom, click the Details tab to display your indexes.  The index that contains your OS will have an OS Version and a description.  The other indexes will be data images and not contain any
information in the Details tab.  You'll need to choose the index (number) that contains the OS for the Apply OS step.  To apply the data image indexes, use the Apply Data Image task sequence step and specify the partitions to apply the images
too before the Apply OS step.
    Good luck!

I have searched the internet but most similar issues revolve around the resource center. I did find one person who just backed up the databases and provisioned a new site with success, but this has not worked. I am using the farm admin account, but all users
    get this issue.
    Any one got any ideas?

  • A different way to deal with "unknown" user after upgrade from Tiger.

It's a known issue that doing upgrade and install or archive and install from Tiger to Leopard, produces a lot of folders with "unknown" group in their "get info" panel. This has to do with a different group structure in Tiger and Leopard.
In Tiger, every user has their own private group with the same name as the username. That group is set to be user's primary group.
In leopard, every new user with an account is a member of the group staff (gid=20) which is not present in Tiger. Leopard doesn't fully understand Tiger's private group structure, hence the "unknown" group. This causes various problems such as Finder crashes when trying to change the permissions and ownership in the get info window.
Apple's proposed way of dealing with this is described [here|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307128].
However, this method doesn't change the existing group structure and doesn't resolve all the problems.
I'd like to suggest a different way of dealing with it.
    1. create a new admin user (if you don't have one already), log out of your primary account and log into the new one.
    2. enter the following in terminal:
    *sudo dscl . delete /users/"username"*
where username is the short name of the user on the main account (not the one you are currently logged into).
    This will delete that user.
    3. Log out/in.
    4. go to system preferences->accounts and create a new user with the name and short name exactly as the one you've deleted in step 2.
You'll be get a popup saying that a home directory by this name already exists and asking if you want to use it. Say "Yes".
That's it. Your main user will be recreated using the native group structure of Leopard with gid=20(staff). Permissions on your home directory will be reset with correct group and ownership.
I tested the process on my powerbook after an upgrade and install from Tiger to leopard and it worked without a hitch.
I like this method better than Apple's because it completely gets rid of Tiger's group structure which was creating all the confusion. The only downside as far as I can see is that you might have to manually change the group ownership on some files belonging to the main user that sit outside your home directory.
I would appreciate any comments on this.

hmm, I confess, I did this before installing 10.5.2 so i can't say for sure. However, I've dealt with a few people (see e.g. this [thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7012957]) who are running 10.5.2 and still have this issue. I don't know what if anything 10.5.2 did about this but I'm quite sure that it didn't change the group structure inherited from Tiger.

  • Voicemail - unknown application.

Just got an 8120 pearl activated on our BES. Everything seems to be okay - emails, folders, phonebook, etc. However I can't access the voicemail function. Everytime i try I get the following error message returned in a dialog box; Voicemail - Unknown Application.
I have a feeling that it might be linked to the activation process, which took over 4 hours, held at 98% on one of hte last service books. I can;t remember which one exactly, but think it might have been the localisation one.
That, said I've now had a look at options>advanced options>enterprise activation and it's claiming that it's not been activated, even though the BES is currently displaying that it's status is running.
Any help? All our Blackberry dudes and dudettes have gone home for Christmas!

This now seems to be solved by this:

  • "Unknown error" when adding a page via web services

I am trying to add a division (a Welcome page) to a section on another welcome page, in order to get a site structure that is one level deeper than what can be built using the iTunes interface. I am using Web Services, which is new to me, to try to do this, as I understand that web services allows this (see http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6786261&#6786261). I have build a login page that takes my institutional name and password, authenticates me, constructs the authorization token, requests, and successfully receives an upload URL from iTunes U.
It sets the action on a file upload form to this received URL. I then, easily within 90 seconds, browse to the Web Services XML file I want to upload, select it in the file upload form field, and submit the form.
Despite several change to my Web Services document, the text "Unknown error" is all I ever receive back, and my division is not added. Can anyone help?
An the HTML output of the dynamically constructed page with the upload form, and the web services document I am trying to upload, may be found at:

It's probably due to the unescaped ampersand in your division name. To be well-formed XML, it must be written as "&" (and, 'a', 'm', 'p', semicolon). In addition, the order of your parameters does not match the XSD. Here's a version that does:

  • Could not open key UNKNOWN

I am having a problem upgrading from iTunes 9.0.07 to 9.0.2. I've been trying to use the 64-bit installer and have tried disabling my anti-virus software.
I had this same problem when I was running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 64-bit on this same computer.
At first, when I would download, I had to Download Only and then install.
When I tried to install iTunes manually, it would load very slowly at Copying Files and then say it was Rolling Back Action. After that, it would say that, "The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured."
I tried everything people suggested on help forums, the discussions here, and the Trouble installing iTunes or QuickTime for Windows help article in Support.
After uninstalling iTunes, making a backup of my iTunes music from Documents and getting rid of anything else iTunes, QuickTime or Apple related, I tried downloading again from the website (using Firefox). I had the problem that iTunes said it couldn't be downloaded without QuickTime. Okay, easy fix, right? I tried downloading and installing QuickTime and these errors came up:
    Could not open key:
    UNKNOWN\Components\69413F169B198734FA40BC8B73511DB0\108B43C0CEA676640B35306AE7D2 4051.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
    and
    Could not open key:
    UNKNOWN\Components\9C4307835821FFF47864EE6DABC09AA9\EA2C92A1FBE18F42A12C111C5AAD DDA.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
So then I tried doing what jnd73 said in a different discussion: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2151409&tstart=0&messageID=102 87668#10287668
And I found I couldn't do half of what jnd73 said. Either because it already knows I'm the admin, or because I don't have sufficient access to the key. I can't even get another admin user to download iTunes successfully. I don't know if it's a permissions issue.
The "The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured." problem started when I moved from Windows XP Home Edition SP3 32-bit to Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (Had to update to SP2) 64-bit. I moved from a separate computer (Toshiba Satellite L35-S2151) to this one. I had to move all of my files from my last backup and re-download applications. I think what I did was I moved all of my old iTunes Program Files along with everything instead of just the iTunes folder in My Documents. So, when I downloaded the new iTunes, it didn't make new folders and used the old ones. I was able to make iTunes recognize all of the music I didn't buy through iTunes after I manually found the files, but iTunes never updated correctly.
I'd think now that I got rid of all of the old folders that now I'd be able to install without any problems.
    Can anyone help?

I was having the same problem, but I found the solution to the problem.
First, click on Start and search "regedit" without the quotations. Open it up, click on "Edit: in the drop down menu. Next, click "Find" and search for your folder components, not the key component, which is in your case: 69413F169B198734FA40BC8B73511DB0
    and
    9C4307835821FFF47864EE6DABC09AA9
They should be folders, and inside the folders, there should be a key with the name of that 2nd key. Example, inside the 69413F169B198734FA40BC8B73511DB0 folder should be a key named 108B43C0CEA676640B35306AE7D24051, and the same for the other folder.
Now, to gain permissions for these keys, right-click on the folders, and select "Permissions". Where it says "Groups or User Names", click "Add". Then select "Advanced". Next, select "Find Now" and select the "Everyone" user. Click OK, then OK again, and you should be on the permissions window. For "Groups of User Names", select Everyone and select the "Full Control" check box for Everyone. Then click OK.
Do the same for the other folder. Be careful; for me, there was 3 folders with the same key name, and I repeated the steps above for all 3 in order to make it work. Just check the folders under your folder to see if it has the same name, and if it does, repeat the steps on that folder.
This method worked for me after trying a million different solutions. Hopefully, it works for you too. If it doesn't work, feel free to reply back. And if does work, please reply back, just so I know it did work.
    Good luck =]

    What should be the problem?

There could be a few reasons, a common one is bad DVDs or a burner going bad.

  • "An unknown error occurred (-50)" after library import

    Here's the gist...
I used the new feature in File:Library to reorganize my iTunes 9 library so it was easier to navigate in Finder. After that, every time I plugged the iPhone in, it wanted to copy ALL the songs over again. I tried everything I could think of, including restoring my phone. When all that failed, I followed the advice of a KB Article (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451) and, lo, the problem was solved.
...until I went to check for updated apps. All my iPhone apps still exist in the Mobile Applications folder in Finder, but none are present in iTunes. Any attempt to add them via drag and drop results in the error "The Application (name) could not be added to your iTunes library because an error occurred. An unknown error occurred (-50)." I also discovered that app syncing had been turned off in the iPhone settings.
With there being 121 apps in that folder, I'm certainly in no mood to redownload them all and telling iTunes to just sync apps again results in it wanting to wipe my iPhone of all the installed apps. Also not something I'm willing to do.
    Any thoughts?
    thanks!

Thanks, MJ, but that's not the problem I'm having. I can see the apps in finder, I just can't get them back into iTunes where they belong.
As further clarification to my problem, a post was created in the iPhone Hardware group where someone else is having the same problem I was (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10236133#10236133) in conjunction with the problems listed above. By following the advice of the KB article, that problem, and the continuous copying of songs, was solved, but the missing applications problem was then created.
I'm cross referencing this post with that one so that the problem can be hit at both ends and people can be made aware of the greater scope of this issue.

  • Cant download itunes update dur to Unknown Publisher - please help!!!

Please help me I don't know what to do next. When I try to update itunes it downloads but then comes up with a message telling me download failed due to unknown publisher. I tries following advice from another post but this didn't work.
    Thanks in advance
PS also cannot download new iphone software but i will post that in the iphone section ...

Thanks that worked - do you know why that is?
    excellent news, Jay.
We (the one's of us who are troubleshoting the error) think it's something to do (in some cases) with the network settings on certain kinds of network setups (possibly if you're connecting to a LAN which has an internet gateway, rather than, say, connecting wirelessly to a router plugged into a DSL or Cable modem. Bloody Yeti discusses that in this post:
    http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=10547579#10547579
Off in a different thread (I've just discovered) Bloody Yeti was also simultaneously discussing trouble with recovery mode, so plausibly the two issues (getting the ipod software and getting the iTunes installer) are connected:

  • Unknown error code (-39)

So I was DLing a podcast recently, and as it was DLing, my computer froze. Now, when I try to download it, I get this error:
"There was a problem downloading 'title'. An unknown error occurred (-39).
Please check that the URL is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again."

  • Unknown Error (-1450)

I've been trying to get a video file that came with an album I've purchased but everytime the file is done downloading I get a message saying "A problem occured during the download. An unknown error occured (-1450).". I've tried to find the code in the error code list but it's not in there so went with the solution for error code (-50) but with no success. Resuming the download process for that file just gives me the same message. It seems to be a problem in the treatment of the file after the download but got no clues on how to fix it.

Your antivirus might be blocking it. Check this out.

  • Attempting to copy to the disk 'IPOD NAME' failed. An unknown error occurre

Hi I keep getting an error when I sync my Ipod.
"Attempting to copy to the disk 'IPOD NAME' failed. An unknown error occurred (-69)."
I have a 20 GB click wheel Ipod. And nothing is working to fix it. Restoring, etc.

I don't know if you've found a fix for your problem or what exactly could be causing it, but I'm wrestling with the same issue myself.
Some say it's happens when your files are corrupted.
If you read this post -- http://discussions.apple.com/click.jspa?searchID=-1&messageID=887569 -- and the subsequent replies there is a work-around to this using MusicMatch and other suggestions that may help.

  • Unknown Error -1302

Is anyone else getting this error? It says that the iTunes Library cannot be saved due to an unknown error? Thanks!

I did a search on 1302 and it didn't pull up any hits.
So, try repairing iTunes from Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
    edit:
I found something from last year
