Unloadclip does not unload everything

I create a menu system to load an external SWF movie by using
loadclip.
no problem so far, the swf movie load.
but when I use unloadclip to unload the external SWF movie,
the movie dissapear which it is good but....
the external SWF movie has a setinterval running, if I unload
before it finish, it still running in the background even I use the
unloadclip to unload it.
I thought the unloadclip show remove everything from that
external SWF movie even thought there is a setinterval running.
I am not sure if this is a bug where the unloadclip does not
unload everything.

well, for the application that I am doing putting up a
cleanUP()function in the external SWF(movie1.fla) will not work.
To define in the parent(main Menu) is better but how do I do
it. see the code here, there are 2 FLA file, one for the Menu and
the other is for the Movie file
also, I am unsing unloadMovie(); to unload it. and not
unloadClip;
I don't know how to set a intervalID on the movie1.fla and
then return that value to the main Menu program so I could kill it.
as you can see in the movie1.fla, I put
"trace(bar_mc.scrub._x + " this is the videoInterval ID=
"+videoInterval);" so when I unload it from the main Menu, it keep
running for testing.

  • Outlook 2013 (included with Home and Business 2013) does not archive everything

    We are running on Exchange 2010 SP3. We have about 5 PCs with Office Home and Business 2013 (click-to-run version). We set up auto-archiving on all machines and set the options to apply on all folders. It's supposed to back up everything 24 months prior.
    It does not back up everything. For example, on my machine which is Windows 8.1 (the others are windows 7 pro), it only backed up emails from March of 2013. We have already applied the registry fix where we do the following:
    registry key (dword) ArchiveIgnoreLastModifiedTime = 1
    Outlook 2013 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences
    That didn't help at all. The machines with Office Home and Business 2010 work fine.
    Anyone else having this issue?

  • Transfer Z10 contacts to Q10, link does not copy everything.

    I sued the Blackberry link to trasnfer the Z10 data to the Q10 but quite a few peoples numbers just show up with out their name.  Does anyone know what the problem is?  I have tried everything and I am tired.  I just want my Q10 to work like the Z10.
    Any help would be appreciated.  All the data and apps transferred fine, contacts seem to be a problem.  Could it be contacts that had "links" made?

    i did use the latest Link, and upgraded Q10 to the latest OS available, but stil it says there is no device detected, please try to ensure that the device is on and connected.... this happen after the device is detected by Link and i press restore ...
    i gave hope on BlackBerry, what kind of company who releases products which is unstable unreliable (BB10) bugs everywhere, even the Link software is annoying didn't it occur to them thay MAYBE we wanna switch from Z10 to Q10 and MAYBE wanna switch back to Z10 and without loosing any of important data we have, ohhh not to mention, open chats also gone on every attempt switching devices...
    i'm back on OS7.1 devices now, i think if this company (RIM) keeps delivering products and no support at all like this, we are all gonna stop buying it right? they are basically sending away the old customers who needs the reliability of  BlackBerry as a smartphone to supports our jobs and bussiness, we don't care about games or even **bleep**ty apps on BB world, WE JUST WANT OUR DATA SAFE ON EACH TRANSFER OF DEVICES, AND PLEASE WHERE IS THE PROTECT FOR BB10 USERS?

  • "Add to library" does not import everything.

    I'm having a very annoying problem... I have all my music on an external harddrive and I import into iTunes without allowing iTunes to either copy the files or organize them for me. That's that... I want to keep my own organization scheme. In principle this works fine, but... every once in a while I'll completely delete my iTunes library and reimport everything, and this is where the trouble starts.
    Let me first say that I don't care about play counts or playlists. It would be nice to preserve these, but I understand that this is not so easy, and I accepted that. However, I would like iTunes to import *all* my music, which it doesn't. I have a main folder called Music (or something) and under that go all the folders for artists (e.g. Beatles and Bob Dylan). Under that I have folders for all the albums. Now, when doing a folder import on the top folder (Music), iTunes misses about half of all the songs. This is completely stupid and very annoying. When I select one of the missing folders manually, it works fine and the missing music is added. What's happening here? Am I doing something wrong? My music collection is *huge* and I simply cannot identify everything that's missing and import manually (at least in a reasonable amount of time).
    Oh, and incidentally... what is also annoying is that even though the album artwork is present in the mp3 files, it is not displayed by iTunes at first. Only if I click on the album, it finally loads and is visible from thereon. Hmmm... easy to do with 10 albums, but I have more. Trust me, I don't want to be clicking each one or them or wait until I get around to listening to each one of them. Any ideas about that?

    Meant to tackle this one earlier. Chances are your problem files have multiple ID3 tags with inconsistent information and iTunes is only reading one of them.
    If the tags read cleanly in a 3rd party tag editor or something like MediaMonkey then you should be able to delete any id3v1.x tags and settle on id3v2.3. In extreme cases you may wish to erease all tags and then rebuild from the file paths, though that presupposes that you have or can get the tracks in a standard <Artist>\<Album>\## <Track> layout.
    Once you've fixed the tracks you can either delete and then reimport, or attempt to get iTunes to notice the changes by playing each track (briefly) in turn. I've written a script called UpdateTagInfo which should automate the process of getting iTunes to read any changed metadata but I've not tested its effectiveness lately.

  • Time machine backup does not include everything

    My external hard drive kept dismounting so I bought a new one.  when I checked on the backup, I could not find anything from the desktop or Iphoto or Itunes.  How do I get the time machine to back up everything?

  • My calendar does not sync everything on my iMac, Lion 10.7

    How can I update all of my calendar events from my iMac to my iPad?  Even when I connect it to my iMac, it doesn't seem to sync.

    I thought this was happening to me too recently, until I realized I had a second calendar open on my computer (I use Gmail).  I was entering events into my 'Home' calendar in iCal - which is not set up to anything.  I had to make sure my Gmail calendar was open.  I ended up having to transer a bunch of stuff over from my 'Home' calendar to my Gmail calendar.  If you are using iCal, you can see mutliple calendars open at once and it's not overly obvious to which calendar you are adding events.  I'm now real careful to have my Gmail calendar as being the ONLY calendar that is visible.

    I tried to follow one of the articles on creating folders in the bookmarks menu and there are elements in my menu that are missing, such as creating folders. Plus because these are missing other menus in the bookmarks have links that are grayed out

    If either of the buttons are broken there is no way to recover from a forgotten unlock code.
    Correction: If you have previously backed up your phone to iTunes on your computer you can connect the phone to your computer and click the Restore iPhone button. This will reinstall iOS and remove the passcode.

  • My phone lights does not work, everything is dark

    my phone fell into some water for half a milli second, now the phone works completely. However its dark, lights are very dim.

    This is due to the backlight of the LCD being out. This can be a LCD problem, which is fixed with a new LCD. Or this can be due to logic board damage, to the backlight controller chips, there are two of them I believe, usually one of them goes out.

  • Adobe Connect does not show tool pointer/cursor when sharing Photoshop...

    I am an online instructor and one of the courses I teach is a Photoshop course. Each week I host a Live Lecture session where we use Adobe Connect to demonstrate techniques and tools in Photoshop CS6.
    I am receiving several complaints from students because Adobe Connect does not correctly show my cursor/pointer when it changes for each tool in Photoshop. All the students see is an arrow with a small icon of a face/monitor.
    This is confusing to the students, because I am trying to demonstrate how to use a tool and they are unable to see the actual tool. For example, when I select the brush tool - they should be able to see the brush circle as the cursor. I then demonstrate how to resize the brush - but they cannot see it. Another example is any of the healing/cloning tools. If I select the healing brush tool, they cannot see the circle (brush). I then demonstrate how to record a healing point by selecting the Option (alt) key - but again the students cannot see the pointer change to the crosshairs to record the healing point - as all they see is the arrow with icon at all times.
    Students are complaining that they are not able to comprehend what I am demonstrating because they are not able to get the full affect of the demonstration without seeing it how it should be. Prior to switching to Adobe Connect, we used WebEx - which showed the students everything correctly as I was demonstrating it. I was amazed to learn that Adobe Connect does not show everything - especially since I am using another Adobe program within Adobe Connect - you would think they would be fully compatible and able to show everything.

    I just saw this option for the first time last week. Very exciting to see it finally in Connect! There is a small amount of lag for the viewers, but nothing that can't be compensated for.

  • Image does not display on MacBook Pro (does on PowerBook G4!)

    I created a slide in Keynote on my PowerBook G4 with an image dropped in (a pdf, I can't remember whether it was originally cut and past or dragged and dropped in). When transferring the Keynote presentation to a new macBook Pro (copying via a USB thumb drive), the presentation opens but the image does not display (everything else is OK).
    The weird thing is that the image does show up in the thumbnail in Navigator View. It disappears in Light Table View, and then is gone when I return back to Navigator View. However, when I close and reopen the file, it appears again in the thumbnail.
    When I click on the area where the image should be, the open squares show up around something. If I try to copy this object and past into another application (like Photoshop), I only get a blank image.
    I have managed to get around this by laboriously copying the affected images on my PowerBook into separate pdf files, then transferring those files to my MacBook Pro and dropping them into place. However, I know I will find a missing image at some later date, when I no longer have access to my old PowerBook.
    How to solve this problem?
    P.S. Both machines are running Keynote 4.0.2 and Mac OS 10.5.2.

    The original image was created using Photoshop to cut out an image from a pdf file. Then it was either cut and pasted or dragged into Keynote.
    Here are screenshots of what I get when I open the "droppedimage-17.pict" file (shown in the Show Package Contents window) using QuickTime on both machines. For the PowerBook:

    Strangely, the Powerbook version looks like a correct grey-scale image, while the MacBook Pro looks like a B&W image.

  • UnloadStyleDeclarations not unloading Font

    We are developing an app that will allow the user to choose from any number (30+ and counting) fonts. Each font is being put in its own SWF using a CSS that is compiled to a SWF. Each CSS has no styling, just @font-face entries to include the various weights and styles. But after the user samples ~15 font, the player and browser crash.
    So I added some code to only keep the last 5 SWF by calling unloadStyleDeclarations on the others. But after calling that, the font is still available and usable (if I set the fontFamily, I can still see the "unloaded" font). If I call Font.enumerateFonts(false) the font is still listed there. And after ~15 different fonts are sampled, it still crashes.
    No where in the app do I call Font.registerFont.
    Thinking there was something in the application. I made the following, simple as you get, example, and it does not unload the fonts.

    Interestingly, I will sometimes see [Unload SWF] on the console, and that SWF's font is still able to be used.
    After that didnt work, I did add the following style to one of the CSS files, and when I call unload, that style is removed, but the font is still available as mentioned.

    I'm at a loss on this tacked.  I am now trying something based on info I gleaned from here: Flex and Embedded Fonts by making a SWF that has the font embedded in an .as file and then creating a textfield (text area, heck rendering a bitmap) that uses that embedded font, but thats not working either. I'll bug you all about that if we dont find an answer to unloading the fonts that are in the CSS files.

    Yeah, Fonts in a style module get registered and won't unload.  To have
    unloadable fonts, put the font in a regular module.

  • The Firefox 29 process not unloading - I think I've solved the problem I stated at pmcjr's post.

    I went back to basic Firefox 29. Set options etc, then added extensions one by one. Two extensions appear to cause the Firefox process problem in my system. They are 'Disconnect' and 'Colorful tabs'. Extensions I have successfully installed are ADBlock, Https-Everywhere, Better Privacy, Self-destructing Cookies, FlagFox and IMTranslator and all appears OK with all of them running. Add Disconnect or Colorful Tabs and the Firefox process does not unload on exit. They have to be removed, not disabled, for a functioning Firefox. This works for me. I did not have the problem in version 28.

    Updated to 29.0.1. I went through the following:-
    1 - The process did not unload after the update (did restart, reboot).
    2 - Reset Firefox; 'closed' the embarrased notice and back to basic Firefox - no extensions, etc.
    3 - Set options, added all my preferred extensions.
    4 - My Firefox 29.0.1 now seems OK; the process has unloaded every time I close (I use the X). I will advise if the problem reoccurs.

    Hi,
    I am have 01 library configured with oracle secure backup version 10.3.
    After backup the tape not is unload.
    Is possbile include load and unload in dataset. Anyone have any example the use dataset with unload tape?
    Someone already went through this (not unload after backup) ?
    Ps - I am open SR in oracle, but are looking to see if it is bug.

    By default, OSB does not unload a tape immediately after a backup. If a backup completes, OSB will leave the tape in drive for user-configurable amount of time...5 minutes by default.
    You can configure how this setting in web tool or command line. Using the web tool:
    Configure: Defaults and Policies > Devices
    Max drive idle time .... change default of 5 minutes to what time desired
    Conversely, you could write an after backup script to unload tape.

  • I got an iphone 4. I had to update my macbook pro to Lepard just to sync. I updated to lepard. Now when I try to sync itunes does not recognize my new iphone 4 as mine and wants to erase everything I have bought using the phone.

    Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version.  The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.
