hi people, I'm working with jaxb to generate Java source classes from the .xsd schemas that I have. I work with 17 schemas that, a priori, I can't modify. In those schemas there are a lot of types and structures that I can use when creating an .xml file. I've read other threads with the problem of namespaces but as a solution they provide a modification on the schemas. I think it's ok because someone has provided it to my company but I can't validate it because it takes elements from many schemas (am I wrong and I can?)
i can't post the schemas because of the copyrights (damn it). I'm not asking for a solution but if someone has an idea or has had a similar problema.. I'll appreciate all comments, thanks

In the schema root element xs:schema add namespace declaration.
<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
In the XML document root element add xmlns:xsi and xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation attributes.

Problem with OSB 11g - Unable to call non-static java methods

I have a problem in OSB. Unable to see any java methods when loading java callout. I have checked the java classes in the .jar file and they are all non-static java methods.
Is there any way where OSB is able to see this non-static java methods?
Need help urgently!

Technical standpoint: Do you know why OSB is not able to call non-static methods?
This is by design. Ability to call non-static methods require Object creation which adds additional complexity. eg How to pass variables in constructor?. How/where to store created object for use across across pipeline instance?. Object life cycle (when and how to create object) etc. To avoid above complexites static methods are only supported.
"a lot of non-static method to call" just for my understanding what are the number involved?. If number is too high you can always request for a enhancement.

Problem with flat file upload with ASCII file

Hi All,
I am trying to load data into an ODS object via PSA using a text file (tab delimited). I have the following settings in my InfoPackage
External Data tab: ASCII File
Seperator for thousands:
Character for decimal point:
Currency Conversion:
Number of Header rows to be ignored: 1
Processing tab: Only PSA and Update into data targets subsequently
When I do a preview the data is not showing up in the right format....the tab seperation does not work and data is garbled with extra hexadecimal characters too.
The same file contents in .csv format is loading the data in the right format and preview is fine too.
I need help trying to convert this csv file to .txt format.
Any clues are highly appreciated

If in the infopackage you click on a File Type ASCII-file (CR delimiter) radiobutton and then F1, youll see the help:
With an ASCII file as a data source, the data has to be available as a string in the format of the transfer structure. There are no data separators, empty characters are not ignored.
This means that:
-     you shouldnt use any delimiters among the record fields
-     all fields should have the length the system expects (length of the appropriate infoobject in transfer structure)
-     each record should be separated from the next by carriage return CR.
Since I think the program that converts file from Excel format into CR-delimited would be very useful, I created such program in VBA.
So, open your Excel file (if you have csv-file you can open it using Excel).
The program assumes that the first row of the file contain field names. Data itself begin from the 2nd row. Insert as the 1st and 2nd rows the new, blank rows.
Into A1 cell insert number of the last row with data, into B1 number of the last column. Certainly, it may be determined in the program, but I have not done it if someone wants it, s/he can try it.
Into fields of the 2nd row insert expected length of the field.
Make sure that Visual Bacis toolbar is seen. (If not tick in menu path: View/Toolbars/Visual Basic).
In this toolbar click on a Design Node icon.
Drag from the toolbar and drop into worksheet a Command button element.
Double click on the button. In the open window for Private Sub CommandButton1_Click() subroutine insert the following code:

Now return to Excel sheet, click again Design Node icon switching into run mode.
When you press on this button now, the ASCII program will be created. It will have the same name as an input file (and in the same directory), but with TXT extention.
Remarks:
-     The program works with the current worksheet named as SHEET1.
-     Fields that are shorter than those expected by the system are padded by spaces from the right. It should not be the problem, since in transfer structure you can check symbols only flag.
-     Longer fields are truncated to the length expected.

[OSB] File transfer

Hi,
I'm analyzing a problem of transferring files (flat text or zipped flat text) from our file brokering server using OSB SFTP transport. Files are 200MB tops.
My idea was to invoke a proxy service with a remote URI instead of transferring the whole file. However, due to some security issues there is an idea to use the OSB SFTP transport.
I am aware that parsing of such amount of data using OSB is madness, but how about transferring without touching it?
As PS is still a WS to me, it feels somewhat strange. Is there any reason (apart from "security issues") why we should use it this?
What is thought of as acceptable amount of data to be transferred efficiently via OSB?

the process which generates the file should use an extension NOT polled by OSB while writing the file, and once completed it should rename the file to the extension polled by OSB
otherwise you can use a file trigger pattern, which is supported by the JCA File Adapter

problems with .ARW files and auto toning
let me try to explain this because this has happened in past and never found a way to resolve but i lived with it
now that I have a Sony A7R the problem is more serious
Firstly i take pride it making the picture happen all in camera, i use DRO lvl 5 to get enough light, like when i'm shooting at dusk. DRO its like doing HDR but in a single file, it lightens the darks. in my camera i'm happy with results
but when I upload them to lightroom, they come out near black.
allow me to explain
lets say I import 100 images
i double check my preferences and everything is UNCHECKED when it comes to importing options, there is no auto toning, nothing.
as the images import i see a preview in the thumbnail which looks fine.
i double click on one to enlarge it, hence leave grid view.
for a brief 1 or 2 seconds, i see the full image in all its glory but than lightroom does something funny, it darkens the image
one by one as it inspects each image, if it was a DRO image it makes it too dark.
to make this clear, the image is perfect as it was in the beginning but after a few seconds lightroom for some reason thinks it needs to correct it.
how to prevent lightroom from doing this, i want the image exactly as it is, why must lightroom apply a correction>?
i think it has to do something with interpreting the raw file and lightroom applies its own algorithm.
but here is what i dont get.....before lightroom makes the change i'm able to witness the picture exactly as it was taken and want it unchanged..
now i have to tweak each file or find a profile for it which is added work.
any ideas how to prevent lightroom from ruining my images and just leave them as they were when first detected...
there are 2 phases...one is when it originally imports and they look fine
second is scanning each image and applying some kind of toning which darkens it too much.

i've disabled it now
thing is, there is no DRO jpg to download from the camera
its only ARW. so my understanding is when i use DRO setting, the camera makes changes to the ARW than lightroom somehow reads this from the ARW.
but then sadly reverts it to no DRO settings.
because i notice if i take normal picture in raw mode its dark but if i apply dro to it, it comes out brighter, yet when i d/l the image from camera to lightroom, which is an ARW - there are no jpgs. lightroom decides to mess it up
so in reality there is no point in using DRO because when i upload it lightroom removes it.
is there a way to tell lightroom to preserve the jpg preview as it first sees it.
its just lame, picture appears perfect...than lightroom does something, than bam, its ruined,.
what do i need to do to prevent lightroom from ruining the image? if it was good in the first place.

I am using the compress function in the Mac OS (File > Compress XX) from time to time. Today it does not work anymore. OS 10.5.6
I get a message: The content list cannot be created for compressing.
I tried it with files and folders and keep getting this message. Anybody any idea as to how to fix this

Problem inporting raw files from my Nikon D3200

i have problems importing raw files from my Nikon D3200, i have tried some of the suggestions such as
removing the RawCamera.bundle and RawCameraSupport.bundle from the System Library and downloading a newer version (OS X Yosemite: Supported digital camera RAW formats - Apple Support)
The problem is -- the latest RAW Compatibility Update version for Yosemite 6.02 appears to be the one I currently am using (in my System Folder).
In that same article referenced above, my Nikon D800 is listed in an earlier version simply titled "Supported by Yosemite 10.10".
This had some success but is not working after trying it several times, i am currently on version OSX Yosemite 10.10.1 and the version of iphoto is 9.6
any help would be greatly received as i only shoot in Raw

Remove the RawCamera.bundle and RawCameraSupport.bundle again and update the system to 10.10.2 via the App Store. That contains the bundles that will support that camera: OS X Yosemite: Supported digital camera RAW formats - Apple Support. The 6.01 and 6.02 updates are not needed for that camera. Be sure to repair disk permissions after the update.
As usual be sure you have a backup of your hard drive before applying any such update.

If you are in fact running Mac OS 9 or earlier, which is from 2001 or earlier, .dmg files are disk image files like the .smi files used under Mac OS 9, but they are only Mac OS X compatible. They are frequently used to store Mac OS X only installer disk image files. .exe files are are Windows and MS-DOS executable files which can only run with Windows or DOS virtualization:

Problem with attaching file to Sales Order

In my company we have the possibility to attach files to sales orders, e.g. pdf files with the printing details.
These files are added by the GUI user, this works fine.
Now we have an extra order creation stream in which a pdf file has to be added to the SO without user interaction.
I found a helpful link ( /people/rammanohar.tiwari/blog/2005/10/10/generic-object-services-gos--in-background )
This program creates URL links with no problem, but the file generation is not implemented yet.
I tried to add the file functions to his sample report but still have one problem. The file is uploaded, but not reported as a PDF file in sap. If I select the created attachment SAP allows only the saving of the attachment. After saving the created file is a good PDF file, it opens with PDF-viewers.
Why does SAP not know this is a PDF file and report it as such (and open the pdf viewer when selected).

Problem with Image file

Problem downloading a file via http

Hi
I'm just getting started with WLS (sp5) and am having a problem downloading
a file via http. The document is stored in the main html docs directory and
whenever I link to it or try to download it directly (eg:
http://<host>:<port>/myfile.doc) I get the following error in a message box:
Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I grant permissions
to do this - I've tried using the weblogic.security.URLAclFile and adding
the directory as a weblogic.io.fileSystem (a desperation move, I know).

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated 12 to 12.1 Update using an opened project's Help Menu/Update?
If not, please do so.
Please clarify "Can't add files filmed in 1080/60i to Premiere Elements 12."
Are you importing the 1080 60i into the project using (Expert workspace) Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets?
If so, are you getting an error message inside of the video appearing in Project Assets?
Are you setting the project preset manually or letting the program do that task automatically?
What is the project preset?
(See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General).

Problem opening PC files created on latest version of CS5 on Mac

Hi.
We´re a creative team in my company of four people, three mac users and one pc user. We recently all subscribed to the creative cloud so that we allways have the latest version of CS5, but there seems to be a problem with all files edited or created from the PC user.
We've (mac users, all three) tried to open the files either created or edited by the PC user and we're told that this was created by a newer version and is not possible. Trying to understand why this message occure when all three macs where updated with creative cloud after the PC user.

your title is confusing.
the pc user is using cc 2014 apps, correct?
the mac users are using cc 2014 apps, correct?
if so, there should be no problem.
if someone is using cs5 to try and open a file created by a cc 2014 app, you will see the problem you described.
